Chapter 1112: The Truth

"Are you sure about this?" Clovis asked with a serious expression.

"Yeah." Mara nodded. "I am not joking with you."

Clovis scratched the back of his head.

"Is there something wrong? Or am I not good enough for you?" Mara asked.

"It’s not about that." Clovis waved his hand. They had spent time together for a year and a half. If he said there was nothing happening between them, no one would actually believe him. Even he couldn’t believe himself.

The problem was that it was too sudden. Despite never saying anything about it, they knew that something was already going on.

In addition, both of them had been linked because of the voices in their heads.

Clovis took a deep breath before extending his hand. "If you don’t mind someone like me, then I’d be glad to have you."

Mara nodded. "I am also curious about something..."

"What is it?"

"The reality... Us in that reality." Mara looked at Clovis with firm resolve, showing that she was already aware of a portion of the truth.

"Now that you mention it, Clovis, what’s going on?!" Kanaria asked.

Since they were supposed to talk about Mara joining the engagement, the girls had already come.

Clovis let out a long sigh and said, "Gather everyone. I am going to tell the truth."

"Ah. You sure?!" Melody raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah. It’s time for them to learn the truth."

"Got it."

"Call Hana as well. Is Vina nearby? If not, just have her join the video call."

"Sure." Melody nodded and started informing everyone.

The entire Libation Fiesta gathered in the living room. Unfortunately, Vina wasn’t in the area, so she joined the meeting via video call.

Hana rushed through all her work and joined them one hour later.

Now that everyone had gathered, Clovis turned to them and announced with a solemn tone. "We... might be the reason this world was created."

"!!!"

"What?!"

They obviously couldn’t believe what Clovis had just dropped.

"Are you sure?"

"How do you know?"

"We? We are nothing right now. What is going on?"

Clovis waved down, asking them to calm down. "First, there are two things I want you guys to know. First, I am able to hear your voice, slightly older than you are right now, but I recognize your voices. Second, I had heard your voices twice. Other than that, I have no idea. So, I’m telling you about my speculation and what I’ve heard. As for the rest, don’t ask me. Even I don’t have the answer. But for now, can I hear what you’ve heard, Mara?"

Mara nodded. "There are a few things, but it’s mostly about me. In the voice I heard, there were various conversations, but it was basically this guy flirting with me."

"What?" Kanaria and the other girls glared at Clovis, not understanding what was going on.

"Can you word it in a way that won’t cause a misunderstanding?"

Mara thought her words carefully. "Well, I seemed to be an assassin or some sort in reality, as that was the only thing I knew in reality. This guy was just bothering me until he finally gave me a purpose. That was the gist of the situation.

"And I heard myself saying to implant my power into his body because my power was very basic. Since his and my unique abilities are two exact things, this unique ability must be the power the me in reality was talking about.

"The Abyss State is definitely basic because it enhances your affinities to a hundred percent. If you think about it, you may be able to manipulate that information by using a computer program."

"You make it sound easy. I am not saying it’s impossible if we’re talking about this simulation world like a game, but..." Melody scratched the back of her head.

"So, it’s possible, Melody?" Luci gasped.

"Yes and no. The program can be done that way, but it will probably need a few things. Just listen to her first, and I will explain the rest later."

Mara continued, "In any case, that’s why I came to him in this world."

"Then, the first meeting..." Erwin still remembered how terrified he was to the point he passed out just from meeting her gaze.

Mara shook her head. "It was true that I wandered around to search for clues, but I mainly tried to find a guy who had been bothering me for so many years. Erwin nodded.

Mara shrugged. "That’s all."

"Thanks." Clovis figured out the situation a bit more. It looked like his turn had arrived. He first looked at his group and cleared his throat. "What I am going to say will be shocking to you guys, but I want you to remain calm. Also, make sure not to reveal this information to the world."

They nodded. Hana and Vina raised their hands. "Clovis. Are we also a part of this? If our situation here is linked to the outside world... we may not be a part of this, right? Is it alright for us to learn about it?"

"Hana is definitely involved. Vina might not be a part of the Libation Fiesta, but you are considered my fiancee. You are helping the group in your own way."

"Oh." Hana and Vina looked at each other.

"In that case, I will tell you about the voices I have heard. Each person said different things, but all of them were related." Clovis’ expression turned grim and started recalling what happened that night when he heard the voices of his people.
