Chapter 1186 - 746: Landing in the Azure Star System (2)

"Currently, besides Ink Orchid and me, there are 16 Insect Clan Warriors, 16 Assistant Kings, and 3 Alien Clan Warriors, totaling 35 individuals, each receiving 60,000 shares, accounting for 2.1 million shares."

"Ink Orchid and I each have 450,000 shares, totaling 900,000 shares."

"This adds up to 3 million shares."

"The remaining 7 million shares will be held by the Chamber of Commerce as development equity, not distributed to any insects, and will not belong to any insects. When new warriors join in the future, they will only be given a certain amount of dividend rights and not equity rights."

"When there is a shortage of warriors, this part of the shares will remain with the Chamber of Commerce, and the corresponding dividends will automatically be transferred to the Chamber's account, accumulating as capital for the Chamber's development."

"In the future, as the Chamber of Commerce expands, we can increase the shares to 100 million shares, 1 billion shares, or even more. However, the proportion held by all of us here today, who jointly founded the Xianglan Chamber of Commerce, will remain unchanged."

"Your income from the Chamber of Commerce consists of four parts: the salary for the corresponding position; performance bonuses; extra allowances for particularly hard work; and, most importantly, dividends from the shares."

"The Chamber of Commerce's accounts are settled every millennium. After retaining the capital needed for development, the surplus is distributed as dividends, allowing everyone to purchase resources for evolution and growth."

Dragon Cypress finished speaking.

The insects were silent.

With this distribution, the shareholding in the Chamber has dropped from 2% to 0.6%!

Silver Cypress raised a claw to ask, "Great King, of all the insects present, we collectively only hold 30%, and the remaining 70% will be allocated to other insects? Is that not too much? Isn't it unreasonable?"

Dragon Cypress patiently explained, "The remaining 70% will not be allocated to other insects. Ultimately, it is for the Chamber of Commerce to develop and grow. As the Chamber scales up, the profits to be distributed from the relevant share equity will also increase."

"To put it bluntly, consider if the Xianglan Chamber of Commerce achieves the scale of the Luoli Chamber of Commerce, how much will a 0.6% share transfer every millennium? Billions? Trillions?"

"To grow big, we must recruit more, and better, Insect Clan Warriors. To ensure these warriors work wholeheartedly, we must provide sufficient benefits."

"Look at Column Spotted, who worked at the Luoli Chamber of Commerce for 14,000 years, resigned without hesitation, turned around, and walked away without looking back. If Column Spotted can do it, so can other insects. Without tangible benefits, so-called 'sense of belonging' and 'loyalty' are just empty words."

Round Cypress raised a claw to ask, "Great King, what if, in the future, another Assistant King is born in our Ant Kingdom? What then?"

Dragon Cypress: "Then it will be a Fourth Generation Assistant King. By rule, they will be given a certain amount of dividend rights. Alternatively, if particularly outstanding, allocate from the shares of Ink Orchid and me. Or, allocate from your shares. The Assistant King, being absolutely reliable, can enjoy permanent equity in the Chamber of Commerce, but not the Insect Clan Warriors."

"Allocate further..."

"If we allocate more, everyone will have nothing left!"

"I suggest increasing the holding proportion for the insects present today to 50%."

"Indeed. 70% is too much."

A wail arose among the insects.

Dragon Cypress forcefully waved a tentacle to signal silence and said decisively, "This matter is settled like this. Prepare the banquet while I go to amend the Chamber's system."

Dragon Cypress continued, "Further, inspect the Azure Star System. Chairman White Ivy's purchased Star Spider has too small a capacity. For the first batch, Black Cory, Rainbow Light, and Blue Catalpa will accompany me."

Ink Orchid raised a claw, just about to object,

Dragon Cypress quickly added, "Regardless of the situation, a second trip is necessary. Ink Orchid will lead the second trip, with Spiked Cypress, Cypress, and Black Rice joining."

"The Shanglu Space of Chairman White Ivy also has limited capacity. On the first trip, transport part of the equipment and a batch of White Refining Beads."

"On the second trip, transport the remaining equipment, as well as White Refining Beads and Blue Refinement Beads."

"A third trip will follow, with further decisions made based on circumstances."

"While stationed at Xianglan Mountain, most of the time is idle, so first go to make water, reform the terrain, amend the soil, plant, and first build a survival base capable of producing food."

"Good!"

Ink Orchid raised both claws in agreement.

"Understood, Great King!"

"Alright, Great King!"

"Hiss—"

"Great King, weren't we observing the construction in the Origin Star System? It isn't finished yet."

"Haven't you seen enough?"

"Next, it's just stars and planets successively returning to their positions."

"What's there to see?"

"Get on with your main tasks!"

…

The insects prepared for the evening banquet.

Dragon Cypress urgently went to the North 1001 District's Luoli Chamber of Commerce station, utilizing the Star Pillar there to amend the Chamber's system.

Once finished,

The insects gathered under the Azure Divine Seed Tree for dining.

After a simple meal,

Dragon Cypress and Ink Orchid each led a team to the northern and southern ends of the Sheep Hoof Armor Star System's life planets, hunting in uninhabited territories, refining and producing White Refining Beads.

A month later,

everything was ready, and the insects packed up to depart.

Input the destination name and Origin Point number.

The Wisdom Brain System named 'Little Luoli' set itself to automatic navigation.

Chairman White Ivy lay dormant in the pilot seat, providing 'Spatial Primordial Energy' for the Star Spider.

Dragon Cypress, Black Cory, Rainbow Light, and Blue Catalpa also lay dormant.

…

…

"White Ivy, save me~"

"White Ivy, save me~"

The imploring call from the Wisdom Brain System Little Luoli resonated.

"Oh wise and mighty Chairman White Ivy, the Sky Blue is about to reach the Azure Star System..."

"Alright—"

White Ivy awoke and checked his own Primordial Energy consumption.

"..."

The other insects awoke, hesitated, speechless.

White Ivy used Mental Power Sensing to take control of the Star Spider.

Six life planets.

Randomly selected one to dock.

Woooo~ Woooo~ Woooo~

The sound of mechanical components rotating.

The seal in the hatch opened a crack, letting a current of hot air, carrying heat waves, whimper through.

The hatch slowly lowered, forming a sloped platform on the ground.

Dragon Cypress, Black Cory, Rainbow Light, Blue Catalpa, and White Ivy glittered to the ground.
