The fifteen minutes passed quickly. A transparent screen appeared before Perry Yates, displaying three items—the rewards for clearing the round.

However, these three items didn’t all belong to Perry Yates. Instead, the three survivors present would choose from them.

As the person who contributed the most in this round, Perry Yates naturally got to choose first.

The three rewards on the screen were ten White Cards, one one-star card, and one two-star card.

Normally, anyone would choose the two-star card without hesitation, but Perry Yates was clearly an exception.

Meanwhile, Donovan Wyatt was also looking at the reward panel. He was the second to choose.

’Even if I can only get the one-star card, I’ll be satisfied.’

After all, he had basically been carried through this game. Besides, he’d just seen that the one-star card’s attribute was a good fit for him.

Even so, his gaze still fell upon the two-star card, his eyes filled with regret.

Just then, Perry Yates made her choice. With a flash of white light, the three rewards on the screen became two.

Just as Donovan Wyatt reached to select the one-star card, his hand suddenly froze.

Staring at the two remaining rewards on the screen, he rubbed his eyes in disbelief. ’Did I see that wrong? Why are the ten White Cards gone?’

He reached out and tapped the two-star card. The moment it was selected, Donovan Wyatt was so overwhelmed by this unexpected windfall that he began dancing on the spot.

Perry Yates watched him dancing around and frowned in confusion. ’It’s just one two-star card. Is it really worth all this excitement?’

She paid him no more mind, because the second round of the game had already begun.

Perry Yates was teleported into a new round of the game.

Once again, there was a ten-minute hiding period, and players still had to stay hidden for an hour. The difference this time was that Hunters couldn’t use large-scale destructive weapons. Additionally, after players randomly transformed into objects, they had to find a logical hiding place and were forbidden from using items to change their appearance again.

Hearing the rules, Perry Yates felt as if they were targeting her.

However, judging by the expressions of the other players, they all seemed to know this already. It was as if they were no longer surprised by such things.

Once again, there were ten players.

Among them, some frowned in thought, while others wore eager expressions, seemingly ready to give it their all.

As the hiding period began, with a BANG, Perry Yates’s vision changed once again.

This time, she was relatively lucky. She had turned into a doll.

The kind that wore a dress, had blonde hair, and a lifelike expression—the type of doll that would scare someone to death if it appeared in a horror movie.

’At least I have arms and legs,’ Perry Yates thought, amusing herself.

She couldn’t just turn into a diamond like in the first game. Although she could still hide underground, she hesitated as she looked at the concrete floor all around.

This round’s game area was a factory. There were almost no plants around, though there were plenty of metal objects.

With that in mind, she decided not to hide underground this time.

She trotted on her short little legs to find a hiding spot, simultaneously cranking the function of the Silver Cross earring she wore to its maximum.

Although this game forbade changing one’s appearance a second time, other Card Skills and items were still usable.

Thinking of this, Perry Yates waved her hand again and released Claudia Vance.

The moment it rose into the air, the white cloud turned black. It then began to expand continuously until it completely blotted out the sky, instantly making the once-bright game area considerably darker.

Seeing this, Perry Yates nodded. ’This should do it.’

Ten minutes later, the Hunters entered the field.

Again, there were twelve of them.

However, unlike the uniformly dressed Hunters from the previous round, this group wore a motley assortment of clothes.

Upon entering the game and seeing the grim, terrifying scene, one of the younger male Hunters asked in confusion, "Did I remember it wrong? I remember the environment for this round being different."

Next to him stood a man with bronze-colored skin. A gruesome scar ran across his exposed chest and up to his face, making it look as if he had been diagonally split in two.

The man said in a deep voice, "According to our intel, there’s a Croupier among the players this time. She’s already wiped out an entire Hunter squad. This is most likely her doing."

"A Croupier? Doesn’t that mean we’re about to get rich?" a curvaceous female Hunter asked excitedly, licking the corner of her mouth. "Check the wanted list. Is she on it? What’s the bounty?"

The person she’d asked took out a device, tapped it a couple of times, and said, "She’s on it. Just got added. The bounty is ten million Constant Star Coins, posted by the leader of the Viper Squad—the one that got wiped out."

"Ten million... It’ll probably go even higher. But we’d be better off not giving them the chance to grow."

The group of Hunters began to spread out, searching for the hidden players.

Since they couldn’t use large-scale destructive weapons in this round, the Hunters fanned out with their firearms. Adhering to the principle of leaving no stone unturned, they sprayed bullets recklessly, and the constant sound of gunfire filled the air.

Soon enough, two unlucky souls were eliminated.

Thanks to her item, Perry Yates’s presence was already minimal. On top of that, she was continuously moving around the game map using Moon Shadow Stealth.

As for why she was constantly on the move instead of staying put and waiting for the clock to run out—the answer, of course, was that she was setting up traps.

’There are almost no plants here, which limits my options. So I’ll just create some traps. Combined with this grim, terrifying atmosphere, I’ll scare them to death!’

Perry Yates let out a villainous "HEH HEH HEH." The next second, gunfire rang out.

Luckily, Perry Yates was fast enough to get away; otherwise, she would have been caught in the barrage.

Feeling her heart pounding—THUMP THUMP THUMP—Perry Yates made a decision. ’I’ll triple the number of traps I planned to set.’

After bustling about for half an hour, Perry Yates finally finished setting her traps. She picked the best viewing spot—atop Claudia Vance—with a standard smile fixed on her face. Her realistic black eyes twinkled, making for an incredibly creepy sight.

’All traps, activate!’

As Perry gave the command, all the traps in the game activated, lying in wait for their prey.

Soon, the first scream echoed from below, followed by a second, and then a third. Like falling dominoes, the Hunters began running into more and more traps.
