Perry Yates, who had felt a little guilty, now felt completely justified.

This game was another Croupier game, and Perry Yates had expected it to start the same way as the previous two.

Suddenly, the system’s voice echoed in her ears.

’That final PS seemed like it was added on later.’

Perry Yates sighed. ’Looks like I’m being targeted. But it’s fine, I’m used to it.’

’So I can’t use items? I came prepared for that.’

As the scene before her eyes changed rapidly, Perry Yates felt a moment of disorientation. When she came to her senses, she found herself dropped into a residential complex.

The buildings in the complex looked very old and worn, with traces of time everywhere.

The large trees on both sides were growing lushly.

Perry Yates slipped her hand into her pocket. Deftly manipulating her phone, she quickly made it ring.

"I have to take this call," Perry Yates said with a polite smile, then walked a short distance away.

Once she was some distance away, Perry Yates took out her phone, silenced the alarm, and then pretended to be on a call.

In the old woman’s eyes, Perry Yates had barely spoken two sentences to the person on the phone before her relaxed brow instantly furrowed. Then, she hung up and turned to the old woman with a very apologetic expression, saying, "I’m so sorry, Ma’am. Something’s come up at home, and I need to head back right away. Could you hold that room for me? I’ll come back as soon as my family matter is settled."

The old woman, who had been a little displeased to hear Perry Yates wasn’t renting her room, instantly beamed with joy upon hearing the last part. She nodded emphatically, "Of course, of course, no problem. It’s just..."
