Chapter 1342: Chapter 1028: Farewell

Never expected such a bizarre transformation.

The Sun Boat, crushed in the siege and revealing its wreckage, turned out to be scrap iron, while the shadow that withdrew unnoticed from the bloody battlefield was actually its true form!

Benefiting from the intelligence blockade within the Heavenly Kingdom Genealogy, external knowledge of the Sun Boat was extremely limited. Coupled with its complete concealment behind the Underworld Judgement Mech, every deployment was an extermination battle serving as Osiris’s logistical base, leaving hardly any survivors.

Apart from the intelligence disclosed by Utopia itself, outsiders could only speculate based on their own experiences and gathered clues to learn more.

Some powers must be displayed openly to serve as a deterrent, like the formidable power and destructiveness of Osiris.

While other things must remain hidden in the mist to be threatening.

Just like the Sun Boat, existing as the mobile battle command central.

If it were merely relying on simple illusions for simulation, it could never escape He Di’s eyes and the countless observations. In reality, until that Sun Boat was defeated, the power and miracles it held never had any falseness.

That is the truth.

Because, whether in the Source’s narrative and myths or in reality, the true Sun Boat... has always been two!

One named Manjet and the other named Mesektet; one sailing in the day, circling the Current Circumstances, and one sailing in the deep night. One encompassing the Current Circumstances, delving into the Underworld...

Even a basic white board, the Stigma of the Road of Eternity now presents two appearances and two entirely different stances.

——Light Driving and Styx Mode.

In the state of Light Driving, Raymond can move unfettered towards the legendary Sun Boat carrying the Sun God Ra, circling the Current Circumstances.

His speed can further accelerate, defense can further strengthen, and he can carry more equipment, provide more aster, playing a greater role in frontal combat.

And Shadow Mode focuses on stealth operations, turning the true self into the shadow below the Sun Boat, and simulating the substance of the Sun Boat above through a massive amount of metal, thereby achieving the effect of a clone.

When necessary, he can abandon the duplicate to avoid irresistible attacks, thus escaping harm.

More importantly, the Shadow Mode has the advanced feature that Huai Shi values most—at any time, any place, without the assistance of any external conditions, deep diving can be achieved!

With just one minute of preparation, he can summon the Styx, transform it into a path, achieving teleportation and depth hopping within Hell!

Open a portal, and grandpa’s off!

This is the biggest reliance and support for their team in Hell in the next phase.

At the crucial moment, Raymond decisively abandoned the majority of his body, leaving unnecessary structures of the Sun Boat behind, left a simulation duplicate, and the Sun Boat stealthily entered the shadow, hiding beneath the blood of the battlefield, instantly escaping to the edge of the Thunderclap White Plains.

Yet there was still no way forward, with the depth completely blocked by He Di, the only way to survive was to summon the Styx, to enter deeper into Hell...

Under Gregory’s illusion, Red Dragon roared, yet no sound could be heard, only the faint surge of Styx, waves seemingly transmitting far away.

Within the cabin of the Sun Boat, the silent Iron Coffin reverberated once more with the distant sound of tides.

That was once Raymond’s body.

Or rather, the true engine of the Sun Boat!

Amidst the resounding echo of Styx, the waves surrounding the ship’s body gradually materialized from illusion to substance, stretching forward. In the end, the scenes on both shores faintly emerged, along with the deep darkness at the river’s end.

At this moment, they seemed to be stationed at some shore, waiting to set sail...

They were truly entering that Styx formed after the fall of the Egyptian gods!

Only an existence as bizarre as the Styx could allow them to disregard coordinates and directions, performing a deep dive without any external conditions or data.

And the moment the Styx entrance appeared, all illusions shattered, Gregory embarrassingly snapped back the shackles, pulled from outside the ship’s railing by the Captain.

"Go, go, go!"

Raymond shouted, as Red Dragon spread its invisible wings, and a hurricane blew upon the sails out of nowhere. Meanwhile, hundreds of oars on the ship’s sides frantically started to row.

The Sun Boat detached from the shore, darting like an arrow, heading into the darkness, deeper into the Styx, further into Hell!

At the stern, Huai Shi leaned against the railing, raising a finger towards He Di.

A silent farewell.

"Dream on!"

On the chariot, He Di roared, his hand gripping the scepter tense with bulging veins, Lock Chains appearing out of nowhere, extending towards the Sun Boat, with the giant anchor at the end tearing through the space, embedding into the ship with a tremendous noise.

The changes in the depth halted instantly.

It was stuck right in the middle of the teleportation gate.

The nearest Destructive Colossus’s eyes flickered, filling with intense hatred and furious roars as it rekindled, frenetically charging towards the Sun Boat’s location.

It was He Di.

He forcibly seized the will of this Destructive Colossus, stretching his hand to grip the Lock Chain, striving to pull, reaching for the stern of the Sun Boat.

"What the hell?!"

Raymond’s face suddenly changed.

Who knows what that Lock Chain is about, under its pull, the Golden Ship was actually retreating!

It was completely crafted against depth diving!

Meaning, He Di had even prepared for the possibility of the opponent performing depth diving?

At the central rail, Foster instinctively drew the blood-red dagger from his belt, holding it backhanded, ready to toss it. But then, he saw Huai Shi’s back.

And the hand he slightly raised behind him.

Thus, the throwing motion stalled for a moment.

And Huai Shi, already pulled out The Fly King from the Ruins, with a flick of his five fingers, loaded a bullet like ink into the ejected cartridge.

He solemnly raised it, aimed at the giant roaring before him.

With a smile.

"Thinking back and forth, it would be best for me to do the last wrap-up myself after all."

Huai Shi happily bid farewell, "Goodbye, my dear friend."

He said:

"Farewell is such sweet sorrow, please let me bid you goodnight, until morning."

In that instant, He Di’s face changed dramatically, instinctively releasing one hand, raising it to block in front of himself.

But it was already too late.

The trigger was pulled, accompanied by a low, dull sound, the ink-black bullet flew silently from the gun chamber, silently pierced through the Destructive Titan’s palm as if passing through an insignificant phantom, finally wedged into that furious face.

Right in the center of the brow!

The Giant’s movement halted.

Immediately after, intense pain came rushing in.

"Huai Shi!!!!"

On the war chariot, He Di’s body twitched violently, a stream of ink-black liquid seeped rapidly from his features.

And the face of the Destructive Titan began to swiftly distort, dissolving and collapsing from the roar, as the divine operation of the Great Priestess brought pervasive erosion and assimilation.

But this time, there was no longer any step of contraction and coagulation.

—Instead, at any cost, erupted once again!

This is the most terrifying aspect of the Curse bomb forged by the Stigma of the Great Priestess.

Disregarding all defenses.

Suppressing all existences below its own pure divine nature without reason!

But after the long tempering in the Casting Furnace, how many things can actually compare to this purity of divine nature?

The raised arm of the Destructive Titan couldn’t possibly block that bullet.

Because long before the bullet was blocked, the shell standing in its way had already been assimilated into a part of the bullet by the power of Shadow Burial!

At this moment, the movement of the Destructive Titan came to an abrupt halt.

As if frozen.

Yet from within came a surging echo, like a ten-thousand-joule wave rushing and swelling rapidly, until finally, countless streams of ink-black sludge erupted from the cracked shell from inside out.

Everything touched by the sludge started dissolving rapidly, even the Lock Chain displayed mottled rust, silently breaking apart.

The Giant collapsed and dispersed.

Replaced by ink-colored tides surging into the sky, sweeping across the wasteland, everything in its path instantly vanished without a trace.

Like oil in boiling water.

The shell, will, and even weapons and armor all melted into that expanding ink sea, never to be seen again.

Under the assimilation of this bullet, a terrifying wave was formed, sweeping across the wasteland until diluted to an extent that could no longer be diluted.

The faintly transparent tides only disappeared under the flash of lightning.

What’s left on the ground were numerous Hell creatures that hadn’t been completely assimilated by Shadow Burial, struggling on a mirror-smooth surface.

Looking much like half-melted artisanal wax candles...

The ferocious face was unrecognizable.

And the waves of the Styx had already disappeared without a trace, only the gully of the river bed remained on the ground.

In the silence, there was only the wailing of mutated creatures.

No one dared to speak.

For a long time, only the hoarse command echoed from the chariot.

"Sound the Drum of Sinister, summon the abyssal stormclouds, devour everything with the storm!"

He Di said, "They won’t get far."

"But, but the deep storm will also, will also interfere with us..."

Behind him, the elderly priest was dull, his expression twitching.

"I have already said."

He Di slowly turned back, softly repeated, "Sound the Drum of Sinister."

On that pale face, he no longer hid his non-human ferocity and malice, but as the ink between his mouth and nose diminished, those eyes remained shrouded in darkness.

Continuously, viscous darkness flowed from those empty eye sockets, like tears.

Tears of the curse.

In the dead silence, the priest stiffly nodded, not daring to look again.

And He Di, covered his eyes, veins bulging on the back of his hand. Feeling the deep-seated pain, he suddenly let out a hoarse roar.

Roaring.

The roar echoed through Hell, endlessly.

Those eyes could see nothing anymore.

Before he severed the connection with the Destructive Titan, the solid divine nature of the Great Priestess had already infiltrated through the link into his face, cruelly taking away his eyes.

Forever entangled upon him, becoming an inseparable aberration of his soul.

No matter what method was attempted to repair, even if reincarnation or rebirth, it could never be erased.

This eternal pain and darkness is the last gift Huai Shi bestowed upon him.

Since it’s hard to say goodbye, then...

—Never see again!
