Chapter 1365: Chapter 1038: Shared Dominance

No one spoke anymore.

At last, only whispers filled with hatred remained.

"Do we have any other choice?"

Under the watchful gaze of the remnants, there was no other sound.

The decision for an endless war was thus decided.

Next, it was time for the unlocking ritual...

Masses of slaves and deformities from various villages and offerings were beheaded and bled by the sacrifices, cast into the bottomless pit at the center of the Death Skull Village.

Until the stench of blood overflowed.

After a day and night of praise and management, an eerie light emerged from within, illuminating the faces of the remnants.

The seal was about to be broken.

The remnants grinned, as if in a sinister smile.

It could feel the terrible power emanating from within.

And it could also feel... the trembling of the earth?

A loud noise erupted from afar, causing the earth to throb, echoing like thunder, reverberating through the narrow sky.

Then, feverish hymns arose.

Under the broken high tower, on the roads outside Death Skull Village, countless banners rose high, the holy emblem of Bahamut flapping in the wind.

Covered in heavy armor, the dog-headed men bore the banners, their hoarse voices joining the great hymn, eagerly setting foot on the path of war.

The hundreds, even thousands of cannon fodder of the past were now gathered together, fervently shouting and singing hymns with eyes filled with an incomprehensible brilliance.

The fervor made one’s scalp tingle.

Just as if the master had opened the cage and loosened the lock chain, and then the hunting dogs rushed out over hills and fields, chaotically and without regard, pouncing on their enemies!

"Fire! Fire!"

On the walls of Death Skull Village, the Commander cried out, blowing the horn with all his might.

Instantly, endless molten fire erupted from the giant cannons atop the walls. The scarlet lava emitted thick smoke, tracing arcs through the air and crashing to the ground, bursting open and raising countless air waves.

Yet it barely hit anyone.

It couldn’t even stop the mindless charge of the dog-headed men covering the hills.

At this moment, their minds were filled with the great brilliance of The End Dragon·Bahamut, their eyes burning red, without any pause.

These guys had no concept of coordinated combat or formation arrangements, their lines were like scattered corn, utterly disorganized, lacking any tactics.

Yet this purely formalistic skirmish line tactic maximized the avoidance of artillery damage.

Soon, from the edge of the earth appeared rolling smoke.

The Steel War Chariots, pieced together after depleting all the reserves of Dragon Scales Village, chugged along, these crude steel beasts either six-wheeled, tracked, or simply eight-legged like spiders crawling over the ground.

After being remodeled by Anton and Gregory, using almost all the leftover scraps on them, they went through a complete overhaul, reborn anew.

Each war chariot bore the holy badge of Bahamut, branded with a massive, grotesque dog head, hidden with endless greed, grinning coldly at Hell ahead.

But the sky-covering smoke came not from these tiny specks.

But from a more colossal shadow.

More pitch-black, violent, sinister... some stranger and more colossal entity!

Right on the city walls, the gargoyle observing nearly crushed the rough telescope in its hands, unable to believe its eyes.

It was a warship!

Escorted by the Undead Army and White Scale Guards, a genuine massive warship advanced across the land, its terrifying weight crushing the ground, leaving a straight trench behind.

Gentle waves surrounded it, fracturing rocks, collapsing barren hills, everything blocking its way trampled into mud without mercy.

Leaving behind a pitch-black trench.

Dark clouds followed it, countless enormous iron crows rising and falling, shrieking high-pitched, their scarlet eyes chilling to the bone.

Amidst the high-pitched whistle, on deck, countless dog-headed men excitedly shouted, wagging their tongues, dancing in wild joy, crazily playing various strange instruments, adding a new eerie tune to the chaotic piercing hymn.

And the black warship moved forward.

Toward the enemy’s whereabout.

Just as if crushing everyone’s heart, every inch it advanced made it harder to breathe.

Until that massive silhouette was within reach, the city walls fell into dead silence. The eyes of the Crowned were cold and wary, suppressing their swarm, the sound of countless blades clashing filled the air.

The sky was filled with harpies rising, screeching high-pitched at the nearby crow flock.

War was imminent.

"Those damned guys..."

The remnants squeezed out an enraged voice from between the bones: "We haven’t even besieged them, so they came seeking death themselves!"

And at this very moment, on deck, Raymond felt exceedingly glorious.

Amidst the escort of the Hell Swarm, he sat poised on the captain’s seat, holding his chin, his expression solemn, commanding respect without anger. Behind him were top aides like Gregory and Anton, while to his left and right stood two great protectors like Huai Shi and Foster.
