But for all its careful planning, it never calculated that a human force like this would appear—one that, relying on its own formidable power, would ignore the Zerg Race’s outer defense lines, throw the rules of war to the wind, and charge directly into the Underground Hive, slaughtering its way into the Nest...

The perilous terrain, originally intended to defend against humans and rival Zerg swarms, was instantly transformed into a ready-made battlefield for Lin Feng to intercept and hold back the Zerg Race forces that would inevitably come to attack this location.

According to the topographical maps provided by the Federation’s scout team, Yunxia Ridge’s terrain was rugged, famous for its bizarre, unique, and treacherous features. In many places, sheer stone pillars and cliffs hundreds of meters tall stood like natural, unclimbable military fortresses.

The entire park’s terrain was high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The highest point was at the main Zerg Nest in the northwest, an area named White Grass Mountain, with an elevation exceeding 2,100 meters.

The southeastern Nest, where the group was now, had its highest point at the main peak west of the Shelter. Its elevation was approximately 1,200 meters. Although not as high as the northwest side, it was still more than enough to fend off an invasion from the Zerg Race.

After all, even a High-tier Mother Empress was only about a hundred meters tall, and a Tier Two Peak Tiger Spine Zerg was a mere fifty meters. To breach the defensive line on the summit, they would have to endure the bombardment of Armor-Piercing Cannons and Electromagnetic Cannons and obediently scale the mountain slopes.

Having just entered the Tier Two Middle Stage at lv24, her Power, while far surpassing that of an ordinary Tier Two Awakener, was still no match for a Tier Two Peak Zerg or a High-tier Mother Empress.

Furthermore, since Liu Yi, Shen Jie, and the others needed time to rest and recover their combat strength, Liu Yueqi had to reach the Tier Two Late Stage as soon as possible to assist the frontline Battle Groups in repelling the assaults of hundreds or thousands of Tier Two Swarms.

A Tier Three Mid-stage Mother Empress was different, however. After advancing, their Infinite Reproduction Realm would be further enhanced, unlocking and mastering more genetic modification technologies, including the ability to cultivate new types of Tier Two Zergs.

One could just imagine if the battlefield were suddenly flooded with large numbers of Samurai Hunter Zergs, long-range Pulse War Scorpions, and Tank Flame Armors to act as meat shields...

The two-hundred-some warriors under Lin Feng’s command would not be able to hold out against the powerful Swarm of a Tier Three Mid-stage Mother Empress.

They would need to call in a fleet, led by a Dreadnought Battleship, and rely on its mobility and overwhelming firepower to even have a chance of suppressing such a massive and highly coordinated Tier Two Swarm.
