Chapter 533: Chapter 252: Reptilian Dragon Race, Unyielding Realm

At the command of Lin Feng and Ling Yi, the group of Genetic Warriors stripped off their Battle Armor, leaving them in only their shorts as they gathered before the Incubation Pyramid...

They spaced themselves two meters apart, forming a circle around the four sides of the Pyramid’s base while awaiting further instructions.

Ling Yi then controlled the Incubation Nest. A two-meter-high slit opened in front of each Genetic Warrior, and Ling Yi ordered the seventy Trial Takers to squeeze inside and immerse themselves within the viscous, fleshy Pyramid.

Once they were all submerged, countless Hoses pierced their necks and bodies, simultaneously injecting them with sedatives and anesthetics while linking all their minds together.

It formed a local network for their minds to communicate.

Next, under Ling Yi’s control, the Genetic Warriors began to merge with their corresponding Tier Two Zerg Eggs. They gradually lost all perception of the outside world as their minds went blank, like those of newborn infants.

After completing these preliminary preparations, Ling Yi nodded to Shen Jie, who was standing nearby, signaling for him to begin.

Shen Jie stepped forward and, as previously instructed, extended his hands and plunged them into the Incubation Pyramid. He then channeled the Tier Three Energy within his body to activate his Realm Power.

A faint golden light flowed over his body, resonating with the translucent, glowing, fleshy shell of the Incubation Pyramid...

The Power of the Slaughter Realm gradually began to seep into the Pyramid’s fleshy cells.

The Golden Energy turned a vivid blood-red and spread rapidly, transported through the vessels and Hoses within the flesh to the Tier Two Zerg Eggs containing the Genetic Warriors.

This caused their minds to intersect and resonate with the Mental Realm of the Spine Zergs.

The intrusion of the Slaughter Realm also activated the hybrid cells within their bodies—the ones mixed with Spine Zerg genes—awakening them from a dormant, recessive state.

Yellow Tiger Armor materialized on the skin of many Genetic Warriors as they gradually transformed into their Zerg People forms.

At the same time, the collective Spirit World, now suffused with Realm Power, began to converge and fuse.

Activating the bloodline power of the Spine Zerg Race, the combined Spiritual Energy of the seventy Genetic Warriors gradually coalesced into a Mental Realm.

The Ancestral Star, a world from the Spine Zerg bloodline’s heritage, slowly took form within this collective Spiritual Space.

A massive Realm Trial, encompassing all seventy of them...

Was about to begin!

Ling Yi’s eyes shimmered with a golden light. After confirming that the Mental Realm World had taken its initial form, Ling Yi told Shen Jie to stop, lest the Trial Takers, who were already showing signs of a stress response, mutate completely into Zerg-human monstrosities like the Samurai Hunter Zergs.

After Shen Jie stepped away, Ling Yi looked at Lin Feng, signaling for him to come forward and prepare to enter the Mental Realm World.

Lin Feng patted Shen Jie’s shoulder.

"I’m counting on you to keep things secure out here! We might get some of the Zerg Race probing around, or maybe even a reckless Mother Empress."

"But don’t worry too much. The prototype will be here to assist you."

Shen Jie nodded.

Having just barely escaped that bizarre Spirit World, he hadn’t fully recovered yet. But now, at the mention of a potential battle, a flicker of excitement—even anticipation—flashed in his eyes.

He then left the main Nest, taking the prototype with him.

Lin Feng then walked over to Ling Yi, sat cross-legged beside the Incubation Pyramid, and closed his eyes. Tentacles grew from the fleshy wall, coiling and latching onto the back of his head, connecting to his nervous system and integrating with his consciousness.

Ling Yi sat beside him, using Realm Power to construct a Spiritual Passage that would connect to the Mental Realm World.

A moment later, after completing the process, Ling Yi slowly opened their eyes, much to Jiang Yun’er’s astonishment.

Seeing the shock in Jiang Yun’er’s eyes, the corner of Ling Yi’s mouth curled up slightly, revealing a hint of disdain.

This was the greatest difference between mastering the true Infinite Reproduction Realm and a "counterfeit" one.

As the most important Mental Realm in the Zerg God’s lineage, Infinite Reproduction was also the foundational Divine Realm upon which the Hive Will was built...

It wasn’t merely about the proliferation and expansion of physical matter; it naturally also included one’s spiritual self-awareness, which could similarly multiply without limit.

As long as one’s Spiritual Power was strong enough, one could split their consciousness into multiple avatars, which could then freely merge back together.

In other words: independent personas, but multiple instances of consciousness.

Therefore, after splitting off and compressing a portion of Spiritual Energy, Ling Yi’s remaining consciousness could still operate this body autonomously, easily doing two things at once.

After getting up, besides watching over Jiang Yun’er to ensure she continued to work hard, Ling Yi walked over to the gene-analysis nest beside the Pyramid to finish the current Superpower optimization task.

This involved helping Lin Feng obtain new cells as quickly as possible—cells comparable to Tier Four that could change his method of Energy Absorption.

This also allowed Ling Yi to promptly notify the avatar in the Mental Realm World if anything were to happen on the surface, so it could end the trial and bring Lin Feng back to the Real World.

...

Meanwhile, at that very same moment, hundreds of thousands of meters above the Hive, in the thermosphere—the region of the Kármán line where satellites orbit and ionized auroras ignite...

...inside a colossal beast ten kilometers in diameter...

Several five-meter-tall, humanoid lizards were walking upright through a desert of yellow sand.

Behind them lay the wrecked half of a crashed silver Battleship.

The night sky was dotted with countless points of blue light, but this was no sea of stars. These were Space Crystals, condensed from Void Realm Energy within the body of a Realm King.

This was a vast and boundless, yet tangibly real and bizarre, Mental Realm World.

"Have you finished absorbing it all?"

"Our current energy reserves will only last another seven hours at most. We can’t get far on foot. Our only option is to travel through the Mental Realm. We might be able to contact the other survivors that way, too."
