For the first time in a while, Max finally left his residence with his horses.

His beast tamer rode the female horse.

Max allowed him to accompany him towards the Demon Hunters Guild headquarters simply because he needed someone to take care of his horses while he was away.

At the same time, he noticed how fond his horses to the beast tamer.

Of course, their respect for him was still at the top, trying to gain his affection as best as they could when they finally met him.

Max had already informed Danny, Lancelot, and Seraphina of his decision to visit the Demon Hunters Guild headquarters for the first time since its establishment.

He also learned that Seraphina was also going to the Demon Hunters Guild by tomorrow, which was coincidentally the approximate time he arrived.

Seraphina did not disclose how her farewell interaction with the High Pontiff proceeded, but judging from her words and tone, it seemed it took her some time to be convinced to finally leave her comfort zone.

Max first visited the Commander and chatted with him for a while.

Afterwards, Max finally left the Dunmarrow Capital and allowed Joel to lead the horses.

Joel had visited the Demon Hunters Guild headquarters many times because of Lancelot.

He had to fetch Lancelot from the Demon Hunters Guild quarters to his master’s residence before accompanying him again to the Demon Hunters Guild.

In other words, he was very familiar with the route.

At the same time, he had already grown accustomed to his master’s strange disappearance whenever they traveled.

...

August 28, 2026. 7 am.

Max had barely slept, but like before, he felt invigorated.

He had been consistently consuming a sleep compression pack for the past two months just for him to reach the B-rank while having his skills’ proficiency at the Master rank.

He left his gaming pod, and as usual, Cassie greeted him and reminded him of his responsibilities as an ambassador of the Aethernova.

For the past two months, Max did not ignore his responsibilities as it was stated in the contract.

He had a fan meet greeting pretty much every month across the world, carrying the gaming pod in the process, and provided information from the game online through interviews.

They did not proceed smoothly and perfectly, but they proceeded just enough for him to move on and focus on his grind.

Kylie also proved herself to him, allowing him to simply handle the matters that were thrown at him, leaving Kylie to clean his mess.

There was nothing noteworthy from Cassie’s reports for today, except that the Eclipse Immersion Pod was about to be finalized by tomorrow.

Furthermore, it would be delivered to him the day after tomorrow, which excited him.

After listening to her reports, Max stood up and decided to put sunscreen all over his body and train on his terrace again.

He did not neglect his training with the Neuromuscular Combat System.

At the moment, he was already at the Intermediate stage of the Coordination level, two stages above the Early Stage.

At the early stage of the Coordination level, multiple movements could be performed together, and the developing stage made his actions transition smoothly into one another; the intermediate stage caused his coordination to remain stable while his speed and complexity increased.

It was precisely this stage that allowed him not only to cast multiple spells simultaneously, but to maintain his spatial awareness and quick decision making in a single breath.

In fact, Max jokingly thought of joining the military or becoming an athlete, while conquering each field without facing an obstacle.

Max was currently training on his terrace. He trained for hours until the heat became unbearable.

He finally stopped and went to have breakfast with his younger brother...

...

Only Enzo and Max were having breakfast at the moment.

Auntie Sarah had long vanished to her work.

For the past three months, she had not played a game at all despite feeling wasted by Max’s careless spending of money.

Max did not rush her and patiently told her to take her time, which only frustrated her.

While in the middle of breakfast, Max asked, "How is your Monster Hunters Guild going?"

Enzo established the Monster Hunters Guild a month after the Demon Hunters Guild was established.

The reason was simple: the monsters’ threat in the north was higher compared to the demons.

Of course, he simply did not establish it without his brother’s consent.

He talked with Max for hours to give him reasons to leave his guild to establish his own.

Max only listened and approved without thought.

Honestly, Max was over the moon.

There were not only demons who threatened the Earth when the apocalypse descended, but monsters ran rampant, as well.

The only difference was that demons desired to consume humans more than monsters.

If Max focused on hunting demons and Enzo established his own guild to hunt monsters, they could definitely protect Earth and establish their own territory.

Max’s only worries were the possibility of getting into conflict with his brother.

Enzo replied, "The development can’t be compared to yours, but it’s definitely better. After the governor declared his support and the Imperial Family offered theirs, as well, the Guild has been progressing with almost unstoppable momentum.

Also, brother, I didn’t expect to earn a lot of money from it."

Max’s smiled. "It was within your expectations. You are a Guild Leader, after all."

Enzo nodded. "The Lewis Guild has also been trying to expand their influence in the north. This time, they are being aggressive.

Whenever they encountered players from my Guild, they wouldn’t hesitate to clash with us, especially if it was outside the settlements.

They were even trying to frame and tarnish my Guild’s reputation, which is really annoying."

Max snorted. "How can you be soft and lenient with them?

My Demon Hunters Guild just annihilated every single player they encounter during the demon hunting mission, you know."

Max chuckled.

He recalled how Aethernova warned him many times since weeks ago that their Ambassador’s Guild was provoking other players...
