Chapter 267: The Radiant Knights’ Army In Action

Due to the Squad Formation effect, Max adjusted his command structure.

He consulted Damien first as he proceeded to change the Captain position to Damon.

Max’s main reason was simply because of the Squad Formation effect, but Max assured him that Damien would still receive the Captain position in the future.

Damien repeatedly assured Max, his Master, that it was perfectly fine.

But he was convinced that Max wanted to establish a reconnaissance squad. Simply put, it was not as important during an all-out war every night.

It took them three days for a winner to officially emerge.

The Rangers immediately drew their bows.

The dark shield expanded as more demonic mana poured into it.

Another demon crouched slightly.

Its eyes rapidly moved across the sky as it observed the trajectories of the incoming light arrows and magic spells.

The first wave of light arrows descended.

The arrows struck the demonic shield.

Brilliant light exploded across the battlefield.

The massive shield trembled violently as countless light arrows slammed against its surface.

Some arrows shattered upon impact.

Others pierced through the weakened portions of the shield and struck the demons behind it.

A demon warrior raised its shield just in time.

The light arrow struck the shield and sent the demon stumbling backward.

Another arrow struck its shoulder.

Radiant mana immediately spread through its body.

The demon roared as the light burned through its flesh.

At the same time, the magic spells arrived.

Several Radiant spells crashed into the demonic shield.

The shield finally reached its limit, especially when the Radiant Luminary’s spells struck it.

Cracks appeared across its surface.

The spellcaster demon’s expression changed.

Before it could reinforce the shield, another barrage of light arrows descended.

The demonic shield shattered.

The remaining light arrows and magic spells continued downward.

The demons immediately scattered.

The swift demons that had been watching the trajectories of the attacks moved first.

Their bodies blurred.

A light arrow passed through the position where one of their heads had been only a moment earlier.

Another spell crashed into the ground beside it.

The resounding impact threw dirt and broken stones into the air.

The swift demons rolled across the ground before quickly returning to their feet.

Other demons were not as fortunate.

Several were struck directly by the falling light.

Radiant mana exploded across their bodies.

One demon raised both arms to protect its face, only for a Radiant Lance to pierce through its defenses.

Another demon attempted to block a descending light arrow with its weapon.

The arrow struck the weapon and shattered it.

The remaining Radiant mana continued into the demon’s body.

The demons roared as the battlefield was illuminated by countless explosions of light.

The Rangers continued firing.

The Mages continued casting.

Neither side had yet reached the main engagement.

Max watched the battlefield calmly.

The Greater Demons were still approaching.

That was exactly what he wanted.

"Continue attacking."

His command was immediately relayed through the Conclave Network.

The Radiant Knights continued spreading out.

The Rangers continued releasing their arrows.

The Mages continued launching their spells.

Another wave of light rose into the sky.

For a brief moment, the battlefield was covered by countless points of brilliant light.

Then, they descended once again.

The demons raised their weapons.

The Greater Demons prepared themselves.

And the distance between the two armies continued to disappear.
