The White Wolf, however, sidled up to Little Heizi and nuzzled him affectionately.

Little Heizi then gently picked Ye Chen up by the scruff of his clothes and placed him on his back.

With that, he started walking toward the edge of the manor grounds.

"Hey!"

Zhou Huaiwei cried out when she saw this.

Ye Yunyi waved a dismissive hand. "It’s fine, don’t worry. With Little Heizi and the White Wolf by his side, nothing will happen to Ye Chen. It’s good for him to go out for a stroll and see this new world of his."

Hearing Ye Yunyi’s reassurance, Zhou Huaiwei relaxed.
