Apocalypse: Rebirth With An Infinite Storage System
Chapter 241 We’ll deliver it tomorrow.
"Oh my goodness, but..."
"No buts, Captain Ivy. Just accept it," Stuck interrupted immediately, cutting Ivy off before she could finish her sentence.
"Oh yes, take it," Grandpa Hart added with a serious expression. His aged eyes softened as he looked at her. "Please think carefully about what I told you regarding becoming my daughter."
A gentle smile spread across Ivy’s face.
"Thank you and I’ll think about it," she said sincerely before rising gracefully to her feet. "We’ll be taking our leave now. I still have to work on your Evolution Liquid, and I also need to settle the survivors we brought back from Erick’s base into Hope Base."
"Oh, right!" Grandpa Hart exclaimed as realization dawned on him. Slowly, he stood up as well, leaning lightly on his cane. "You’re going to visit again, aren’t you? I know you’re incredibly busy as a base leader, but I do hope this won’t be the last time."
"I might," Ivy replied with a warm smile. "Besides, the Evolution Liquid still has to be delivered, so I’ll definitely be coming back."
"That’s true." Grandpa Hart nodded with satisfaction, his wrinkles deepening from his smile. "Then I wish you a safe journey. May you travel in peace."
"Thank you."
Ivy inclined her head respectfully before turning around. Darren and Erick followed closely behind her as they walked out of the room together.
Without wasting any time, Ivy climbed into the passenger seat of the truck while Darren settled into the driver’s seat. Moments later, the powerful engine rumbled to life before the truck slowly rolled out of the mini base.
Erick remained standing outside.
"I’ll stay behind for a while," he said. "There are still a few matters I need to discuss with Grandpa Hart."
Ivy nodded in understanding.
"Alright. We’ll see you tomorrow."
Soon, the truck disappeared into the distance, leaving Erick behind as he turned around and walked back toward Grandpa Hart’s residence.

Not long afterward, Ivy and Darren finally returned to Hope Base.
The moment they arrived, Ivy headed inside.
"System."
A transparent blue screen immediately materialized before her eyes.
Without any hesitation, Ivy selected the Evolution Liquid production option before placing the required crystal cores into the system.
In an instant, the crystals disappeared.
Soft mechanical sounds echoed inside the room as the system immediately began processing the materials.
Within only a few moments, transparent white liquid started appearing inside specially prepared bottles one after another. The liquid looked almost identical to ordinary drinking water, making it difficult for anyone unfamiliar with it to imagine that it was one of humanity’s greatest hopes for evolution.
One hundred bottles of Evolution Liquid were neatly arranged inside two large storage boxes.
The entire process had taken less than five minutes.
"Nice."
A satisfied smile appeared on Ivy’s face.
Just as expected, the system never disappointed her.
Without wasting another second, she carefully carried the two heavy boxes outside before making her way toward Darren.
Meanwhile, Darren was busy organizing a few supplies near one of the tables when he noticed Ivy approaching.
Without saying a word, Ivy placed both boxes gently on the table before him.
"You’ll have to deliver these."
Darren stared blankly at the neatly packed bottles before looking back at Ivy.
"...They’re ready?"
His expression became increasingly unbelievable.
"You haven’t even been inside for five minutes, and you’ve already produced one hundred bottles of Evolution Liquid?"
He placed both hands on his waist before letting out a helpless scoff.
Ivy raised an eyebrow at him.
"Have you forgotten that my system is producing them?"
"I know that," Darren replied almost immediately. "But they don’t."
He pointed toward the two boxes.
"Neither Erick nor Grandpa Hart knows that you possess a system. In fact, nobody outside Hope Base knows your secret."
His expression turned serious.
"If we deliver these today, people are bound to become suspicious."
He folded his arms across his chest before continuing.
"Think about it. We left their base less than ten minutes ago, yet we’ve already returned with one hundred bottles of Evolution Liquid."
He shook his head.
"That’s impossible by normal standards."
After a brief pause, he smiled faintly.
"We’ll deliver them tomorrow instead."
He tapped one of the boxes lightly.
"That way, everyone will assume you spent the entire night working with me to produce all of this."
Ivy fell silent.
She rested one hand beneath her chin while carefully thinking through Darren’s reasoning.
A few seconds later, she slowly nodded.
"You’re right."
A smile appeared on her face.
"We’ll deliver them tomorrow."
Darren smiled in satisfaction and after a brief moment of silence, his expression became serious once more.
"We should get the survivors settled now."
"That’s true." A warm smile spread across Ivy’s face. "I also want to see my children."
The thought of the survivors immediately brightened her mood after such a long day and without wasting another minute, both of them climbed back into the truck.
