The skin color on Sima Xi’s face was uneven, still looking somewhat ugly.

Because the desired effect wasn’t achieved, Sima Xi, in a rage, killed the man who had been a cosmetic surgeon before doomsday.

A luxurious bed.

Sima Xi held a mirror and looked at himself in the mirror.

At times crying, at times laughing, he always prided himself on his looks, valuing his face greatly.

Part of why the old master Sima favored him was because he was good-looking.

Looking at the ferocious face in the mirror, his anger grew stronger.

He brutally threw the mirror aside.

Clang!

The mirror shattered, cracking in the middle.

This was already the tenth mirror he had broken recently.

Even though the butler had all the mirrors removed from the house, every day Sima Xi would adamantly demand a mirror.

Yet, every time he saw his own face, he would get angry.

Terrible yet loves to look.

“Have you found it?” Sima Xi’s eyes burned with rage as he asked the trembling butler and servants standing in the corner.

Butler Dali swallowed nervously and said:

“Not yet, the entire city has been searched, but no other cosmetic experts have been found….”

Secretly, he complained that, to be honest, the previous cosmetic expert had pretty good skills, but Sima Xi didn’t like the result and killed him immediately.

After the killing, he wanted to find another, but it wasn’t easy to find one just like that.

Especially with the cautionary tale of the previous expert, anyone with cosmetic skills is probably too scared to show up now.

They’re afraid of dying!

“Then double the reward, tenfold! I refuse to believe that among so many people, there’s not one who can perform cosmetic surgery!” Sima Xi said angrily.

“Understood! I’ll go look again.” The butler said with his head lowered.

Sima Xi leaned heavily against the bed’s headboard, unable to release the anger in his heart.

He wanted to kill!

However, the last time he killed that cosmetic surgeon, it caused some adverse effects, though it ultimately didn’t matter much to him.

After all, that cosmetic surgeon was part of the Inner City; besides cosmetic surgery, he also performed some other types of surgery. In a post-apocalyptic world, doctors are a scarce resource.

He wanted to kill, to kill a lot of people.

In a growing restlessness, he suddenly remembered that back when his father was in good health, he often sent him and his elder brother Sima Dong to plunder small factions.

How delightful that killing was!

Exhilarating!

He enjoyed seeing the weak cry and beg for mercy in front of him, only for him to ruthlessly kill them, delighting even in scenes of families torn apart.

Dark childhood memories left him with some psychological scars.

The blow from his disfigurement had utterly twisted his heart.

He wanted to kill, but he couldn’t recklessly kill people within the city since the Northern Territory Federation wasn’t under his command, and he wasn’t a fool.

Thinking carefully, the forces around the Northern Territory Federation were either wiped out by the Sima Family or absorbed by Yuan Zhi. Larger factions, with the involvement of Governor Yuan Zhi, also formed alliances with the Northern Territory Federation.

Suddenly, he remembered a place.

“Dali, has there been any news from the expedition team sent to the Southern Oil City?”

The butler’s heart tightened. It’s been some time, and there was still no news; he had been worried that the second young master would ask about it.

But the second young master seemed to have forgotten, so he wasn’t too worried.

Yet today, who knows what came over Sima Xi for him to bring it up suddenly.

“No…. there’s still no news, the journey is long, they could still be investigating there.” The butler said nervously.

Sima Xi immediately got out of bed, wearing a red, fitted pair of briefs that, despite their tightness, made him appear even more youthful.

“Still investigating? Why is it taking so long? When we used to plunder other forces, the expedition teams we sent didn’t take this long!” Sima Xi scolded the butler, pointing at him.

The butler, thinking quickly, hurriedly said: “Perhaps, it’s possible that the extreme solar radiation outside is causing the delay. You also know that solar radiation outside is especially intense now, they might be because of that….”

Not mentioning solar radiation was fine, but mentioning it was like tearing open the second young master’s scars.

It was while sleeping outside on the large terrace that he got burned by the emerging sun.

The butler realized something was wrong as he spoke.

Even the servants behind him tugged at his shirt, reminding him not to talk about it.

Too late, when reminded by those behind, he remembered this incident.

Too late!

He fell silent, and the air seemed to solidify.

Fearfully, he raised his head, as if trying to see Sima Xi’s expression.

Just as he looked up, a gust of wind blew.

Slap!

Sima Xi slapped the air with force.

A red slap mark quickly appeared on the butler’s face.

He immediately lowered his head, hastily said: “Young master, I was wrong, I shouldn’t have…..”

With his head down, his eyes grew colder.

That damned Sima Xi, someday I will….

Sima Xi rubbed his sore palm; the rage in his heart had dissipated somewhat.

Indeed, hitting people made him feel better.

After a few seconds, Sima Xi spoke:

“Notify the team leaders whom father entrusted to me to come for a meeting. I will personally head south to destroy that Oil City! Also, that Big Camphor Tree Base!”
