Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1205: Let Me Teach You, Since Your Teacher Failed

  • Next Chapter

The identity of the Seven Warlords of the Sea gives Doflamingo the backing of the World Government, making him a legitimate pirate, while his connections with the Hundred Beasts make him flourish in the Underworld.

If the ties between Doflamingo and these forces aren’t severed, his revenge plan will never succeed.

During this process, Law will use many things. The death of Rosinante is a lingering pain for him, and except for death, nothing can make him stop this stride.

Law and Doflamingo, each with their own ulterior motives, have temporarily reached a deal, and the sound of Law making a phone call caught the attention of others on the Thousand Sunny.

“Who were you just calling? Little Flower Hat?”

“Please don’t call me Little Flower Hat, Mister Okama Boss…..”

Reindeer, Okama, Freak, Rhinoceros Beetle, Skeleton, the crew of this ship is overly complex. Law is now somewhat regretting boarding this ship.

He came to this ship, firstly because he thought Luffy’s strength was commendable, making him a useful force that could be manipulated, and he seemed easy to deceive. After all, within less than three sentences, Luffy had already agreed to the Pirate Alliance invitation.

“It was a call to Doflamingo, that guy also has connections with the Sea Emperors. And our alliance’s operation plan is to make The Sea recognize our abilities, gain the title of the Sea Emperor, and become a new Sea Emperor to fill the vacant throne left by Whitebeard, and then recruit more pirates. Defeating Doflamingo is a good way to prove ourselves and increase our reputation. Although he has ties with the Sea Emperors, I already have a way to replace him. With this, we can also establish a connection with them.”

Law’s intention was to make them realize that Doflamingo is not the ultimate boss, just a minor one, but to defeat the ultimate boss, they must give their all beforehand.

If they can’t even defeat Doflamingo, there’s no need to mention the rest.

“Why recruit more pirates?”

“Of course, it’s to get more hands to collect the Red Poneglyphs, otherwise, how would we go to Laugh Tale?”

“Red Poneglyphs? What’s that?”

“Straw Hat Captain, are you… serious?”

Seeing that no one on the ship understood the importance of this matter, Law struggled to maintain his composure.

“If you don’t even know about this, how do you plan to become the Pirate King??”

Currently, Robin is drinking coffee on Yamato’s ship. Among the entire Straw Hat Pirates, none recognizes the Poneglyphs, though Rayleigh knows the details, he’s more of a laissez-faire teacher, and even giving Luffy a general description was already pretty good, as he never mentioned the specifics.

So until today, the Straw Hat crew only understood, under Law’s explanation, how to get to Laugh Tale. Before this, their only way to reach the Final Island was by relying on Zoro’s navigation.

“So we need the Red Poneglyphs, need to establish a force, need fame, starting with defeating Doflamingo.”

The situation is different now, so Law naturally changed his narrative. In the original timeline, his narrative would have been, “I have a plan to pull Kaidou down from power.”

But at this moment, someone interrupted Law’s speech.

“Red Poneglyphs? I know where to find them.”

The one speaking was none other than Kinemon. After escaping Wano Kuni with Kanjuro, they didn’t end up in Dressrosa.

However, severely exhausted, they accidentally boarded a ship connected to Caesar’s human traffickers, were drugged and confused, and ended up in Punk Hazard, eventually leaving with Luffy.

They came out looking for external reinforcements. In the eyes of Kinemon and Kanjuro, Law and Luffy and others are strong enough and also desire a position like Kaidou’s as a Sea Emperor, so they also intended to manipulate them.

They still remember how Oden returned to Wano Kuni to rubbings of the Poneglyphs, so they just directly spoke about it.

“Hmm? You actually know? Where is it?”

“In Wano Kuni, occupied by the Sea Emperor, Hundred Beasts Kaidou, which you mentioned.”

“Ah, Kaidou has that? So indeed, to become the Pirate King, we have to defeat him, or rather, defeat the entire Hundred Beasts Pirates.”

Upon these words, the entire ship suddenly quieted down. The astonishment of Law, the joy of Kinemon and Kanjuro, Hergo’s helplessness, Caesar’s mockery, all eyes instantly focused on Luffy’s face.

“Fwohohoho, Straw Hat boy, do you know what you’re saying? Defeat Kaidou? Defeat the Hundred Beasts?? What dream talk is this? That’s simply impossible… Ah, no hitting my face! Wait… I was wrong, stop!”

Caesar’s mockery led to a beating, and under the threat of fists and feet, Caesar chose to shut up. While Chopper was treating Caesar’s wounds, Law couldn’t help it, this alliance seemed a bit problematic.

“Straw Hat Captain, you say you’re going to defeat Kaidou… are you serious?”

“Yeah, of course, he also wants to be the Pirate King, but I will become the Pirate King. Not to mention that the red stone is in his hand; we definitely have to fight.”

Listening to Luffy’s bold words, Kinemon and Kanjuro became increasingly excited, but they didn’t immediately reveal their origin from Wano Kuni. They wanted to observe a little longer.

“Your current bounty is four hundred million Belly, a consequence of your involvement in the summit war, but do you know what Kaidou’s bounty is?”

“Well, I don’t really remember. Is it high?”

“You’ve got some guts, daring to be his enemy without knowing your opponent’s strength. Hundred Beasts Kaidou, bounty of five billion five hundred eleven million Belly, Governor of the Hundred Beasts Pirates, the strongest creature in the world. That’s the person you want to challenge.”

Due to Rami, Law had a deep research on the Beasts and knew much more about them than Luffy and his crew, even pulling out a stack of wanted posters from his backpack.

“Fi… Five and a half billion…”

This terrifying bounty, even more dreadful than those of the past, just based on this amount, made Nami and Usopp huddle together for warmth. However, this was only the beginning.

“Yes, five and a half billion, but do you think that’s all? Even when Whitebeard lived, the Beasts had already become the most powerful pirate group. Besides Kaidou, you face even more terrifying officers.”

Ghost Princess Yamato, Kaidou’s biological daughter, bounty of two billion nine hundred sixty-three million Belly.

Kaidou is her father, and if you’re going to defeat Kaidou, she won’t just sit by.”

“Ah, that horned woman, I’ve seen her before. What an impressive bounty.”

The others started getting tense, but Luffy didn’t feel the pressure as Law expected. Instead, he laughed, making Law feel something was amiss, but he kept talking.

“You think that’s all? Flame Disaster, Plague Disaster, Illusory Calamity, Drought Disaster, Kaidou’s four disaster-level officers. They’re called the main pillars, his right and left arms. Even the lowest bounty among them exceeds 1 billion Belly!”

Below them are over a hundred officers known as Numberers. The smaller the number, the stronger they are, even the ninth-ranked one has a bounty equal to yours!”

The alliance between Law and Luffy hoped Luffy could help defeat Doflamingo, not bring a more terrifying monster upon them.

One of his goals in acquiring SAD was also to appease Kaidou’s wrath afterward. In Law’s view, as long as someone perfectly replaces Doflamingo, Doflamingo’s existence isn’t important.

Watching the silent Luffy, Law thought Luffy was intimidated and decided to add more pressure.

“Moreover, the Beasts are an extremely unique pirate group. Internally, there’s another force, Punisher Arceus, bounty over 6 billion Belly, a mysterious Zoan-type ability user, the highest bounty pirate today. If you become enemies with Kaidou, you must defeat all of them. Even if that’s the case, do you still want to stick to your plan?”

Beside him, Hel smirked as if agreeing with Law’s words, then carefully put away Arceus’s wanted poster for Law.

Zoro and Sanji listened intently to Law’s intelligence, Brook and Franky remained calm, Chopper was busy giving emergency aid to Usopp—news too jolting had knocked Usopp unconscious.

Seeing Luffy still silent, Law thought he got through and continued:

“If Kaidou gathered the Red Poneglyphs, he’d already be the Pirate King, so he hasn’t gathered them. Our goal is to defeat Doflamingo, not provoke Kaidou, understood?!”

“Hmm… but becoming the Pirate King means I have to defeat him, right?”

“You… you didn’t listen to a word… follow my orders for the upcoming actions, okay?”

Seeing Luffy’s impenetrable attitude, Law immediately gave up on convincing him. It seemed he couldn’t sway Luffy even if he risked half his life.

So Law started fighting for the alliance’s command, planning to part ways with Luffy after defeating Doflamingo.

“Oh, no problem, whatever you say. Sanji, I’m hungry; it’s time to cook!”

Law got the command, but he wasn’t happy at all, and in the days that followed, Luffy would show Law what “following orders” meant.

As for now, the Straw Hat crew casually walked into the kitchen, still discussing dish choices, while Law was gradually assimilated. His last shout veered from orders into complaining about his dislike of sliced bread.

…

While Law’s inner self was nearing collapse and he was gradually being assimilated by the Straw Hat crew, Doflamingo also encountered a major crisis.

Many of the experiments on Punk Hazard couldn’t be known by the World Government and Navy, or they’d affect Doflamingo’s plans. Starting from the G-5 Branch Navy here, Doflamingo didn’t plan to spare any.

As a Vice Admiral with battle results comparable to zero-winning beasts, Smoker wasn’t a match for Doflamingo. His Logia-type ability only increased his area for attacks, quickly suppressed by Doflamingo’s mastery of Haki.

It was at this moment, accompanied by the sound of chains, that Kuzan rode in on a pink bicycle…
