Arceus's Pirate Journey
Chapter 1215: Blank Memories, the So-Called Weakest Zone_3
At this moment, the cursed princess Rebecca quietly overcame many enemies with her Backwater Sword Dance!
The audience showed changes more dramatic than those at the Busan Library, constantly switching between cheers and boos, ultimately unifying under another call led by an unknown person.
“Lord Diamante! Quickly deal with Rebecca!”
“Yes, Lord Diamante, quickly kill that annoying woman!”
…
“Hahaha, Rebecca, you really are detestable. This is the call of the audience, if everyone is shouting like this, I am put in a difficult position if I do nothing. But rest assured, with Doflamingo’s orders, for now, you’ll only suffer a bit.”
Saying this, he pulled out several paper confetti from his pocket.
The Bullfighting Arena prohibits the use of ranged weaponry like guns and crossbows, yet abilities are allowed, as is throwing handheld weapons.
The paper confetti created by Diamante through his abilities skirts the rules, leaving much room for manipulation; as the event host, Diamante clearly holds privileges.
To ensure stability, Zone B lacks powerful contenders, so Diamante was determined to quickly eliminate opponents here, lest he appear incompetent beside Katakuri and others.
“Death Star Shards!”
Suddenly, a multitude of small paper pieces appeared in the arena sky. As Diamante released his ability, the papers reverted to thorny iron balls, raining down.
“It’s here! Mr. Diamante’s ultimate move! It seems he wants to swiftly clear opponents! In this cramped arena, it’s truly deadly… Wait! Who is that old man?!”
Using a folded iron umbrella, Diamante blocked this indiscriminate attack; others weren’t so lucky. In this limited space, the only area to evade the attack was outside the ring.
Under the threat of the thorny rain, many forfeited, while those persisting wailed. Yet Rebecca remained unharmed, as beside her, Redfield opened his umbrella, creating a zone of absolute safety beneath its ribs.
“Rebecca, you underestimate your own abilities. Even with the Quake-Quake Fruit, you’re unlikely to achieve your goals.”
The umbrella was ordinary, but it was imbued with intense Haki.
“Clearing so many people makes it much easier; next, just watch.”
With a flick of his arm, the final thorny rain was deflected by Redfield. Closing the umbrella, Redfield swiftly appeared before Diamante, catching him off guard.
The umbrella tip slashed across, instantly ripping a gash in Diamante’s specially crafted alloy cloak and attire, conveying a strong sense of mortal danger from the umbrella tip.
“Impossible?! Just so easily destroying my armor…”
“Armor? As a small trick, it’s passable, but no more. If you played a clown in the arena, it might be eye-catching.”
“What are you saying?!”
Enraged at being called a clown by Redfield, Diamante furiously swung his sword repeatedly, yet Redfield elegantly dodged each attack, never allowing a strand of hair to be touched.
Redfield’s actions elicited exaggerated gasps from the audience, and Gatz frantically searched through competition records, clueless about the identity of this old man…
