Chapter 179: Worlds End Harem negotiations. Mira Suou’s choice.

You teleport directly to the 1002nd floor library. The vast space stretches in every direction, shelves rising impossibly high, the ambient glow of enchanted lanterns casting warm light across reading alcoves. Jibril sits at a curved desk near the entrance, her blue hair cascading over her magical girl costume, a tablet in one hand and a quill in the other. She looks up immediately.

"Welcome back, Master. Shalltear has been explaining Pokemon breeding mechanics to Mina for the past three hours. I believe the child now understands more about the games stats than most graduate students." not mentioning their cosplay at all.

You find Mina curled in an oversized reading chair, her small frame dwarfed by cushions, her silver-white hair falling across her face as she peers intently at a tablet displaying Assassination Classroom. Shalltear sits beside her in her sailor fuku, narrating enthusiastically about Koro-sensei's teaching methods. Irene occupies the adjacent sofa, her queen gown pooled around her, a physical copy of Fullmetal Alchemist open on her lap.

"Mina," you say. "How are you enjoying the worlds?"

Her crimson eyes lift. "Korosensei is the best teacher. I want to learn how to move that fast."

"That is not physically possible," Shalltear says. "But the assassination techniques are interesting from a tactical perspective."

You spend a few minutes reviewing their progress. Mina has completed Pokemon Kanto, started Assassination Classroom, and lined up My Hero Academia. Irene is deep into Fullmetal Alchemist, fascinated by the philosophical implications of equivalent exchange. Jibril has been maintaining detailed notes on each student's preferences and aptitudes.

"I have business to attend to," you tell them. "Continue as you are."

Jibril nods. "I have prepared supplementary materials for Mina's MHA viewing. The hero classification system parallels this worlds adventurer ranking structure in interesting ways."

You step away and open your senses to the multiverse, searching for a Shumatsu no Harem timeline matching your criteria. The world exists in countless variations. You need one where the main male characters never awakened or are simply absent.

You find them, the cryogenic storage failure is imminent or already occurring, where Mira Suou sits alone recording her charge's death.

A hospital room in what was once Tokyo. Sterile white walls, humming medical equipment, the faint antiseptic smell of a facility running on emergency power. A young woman with long purple hair and sharp bluw eyes stands before a cryogenic pod, her uniform crisp despite the exhaustion visible in her posture. She holds a recording device, her voice steady and professional as she documents the vital signs flatlining on the monitor.

"Subject Number Seven. Male. Cryogenic failure due to coolant leak in Section C. Time of death confirmed at fourteen twenty-three hours. End recording."

She lowers the device and exhales slowly, her shoulders dropping. This is Mira Suou. Clone-soldier. Assigned guardian. Watching another failure she could not prevent.

You open a Gate directly into the room.

The silver-edged portal manifests between the pod and the door. Mira spins instantly, her hand dropping to a sidearm holstered at her thigh, blue eyes locking onto you with trained alertness. The recording device clatters to the floor.

"Who are you? Identify yourself immediately."

Her voice carries military precision, but beneath it you hear something else. Exhaustion. Grief she has been trained to suppress.

"Greetings, My name is Blank," you say, stepping through the Gate. "I am not here to harm you. I am here to negotiate."

"Negotiate what?" Her weapon remains holstered. "How did you get in here? This facility has no external access points."

"I walked through a door between worlds. Your facility's security was never designed to stop someone like me."

Mira's eyes narrow. She assesses you with the cold calculation. Her finger rests on the holster release.

"You are not from this world. That much is obvious. What do you want?"

"You," you say simply. "And potentially, an arrangement with whoever commands you."

Her jaw tightens. "I am not something to be wanted."

"Everyone is something to be wanted. The question is whether the wanting benefits both parties." you telekinetically lift the recording device up politely in front of her.

You raise your hand and a shimmering wall of force materializes across the doorway, sealing the room with an audible crack of displaced air. Mira flinches at the sound, her weapon half-drawn, her blue eyes tracking between you and the barrier with growing alarm.

"I can offer you more than this," you say, your voice calm and measured. "A purpose beyond watching half-dead men die in pods. A world where your skills matter. Where you matter."

Mira's jaw tightens. "You know nothing about what I do."

"I know you have watched charges die. I know the coolant leaks are not accidents. I know your government authorized the attack that killed ninety-nine point nine percent of the male population and is now scrambling to save the species from extinction they caused."

The color drains from Mira's face. Her weapon drops to her side.

You turn to the security camera mounted in the upper corner of the room, its red light blinking steadily. "To whoever is watching. I am Blank. I possess the ability to travel between worlds and I am offering a trade."

You pause, letting the words settle.

"There are countless men in other worlds who would leap for the opportunity to live in a society of women with your level of technology. Warriors, laborers, scholars. Some would come willingly. Others are slaves who would leap at freedom regardless of destination. I offer provide males to supplement your population."

Mira stares at you. "You are insane."

"Am I? In exchange," you continue, addressing the camera directly, "I want females from this world. Most are beautiful and well-educated. While lacking experience interacting with men, all of which suits my purposes. I will not open worlds for mutual interaction between your civilization and others. That always becomes a political headaches neither of us needs."

You let that sink in for three heartbeats.

"Before there is any misunderstanding about how this arrangement will function. Clone designation Mira Suou is my only point of contact. Personally, I am not very interested in the rest of this world's women beyond their appearances. She will serve as my liaison."

Mira's breath catches. "You cannot just declare me your contact without asking."

"I just did. What are you going to do about it?"

Silence stretches through the sterile room. The hum of medical equipment fills the void. Mira's sharp blue eyes search your face for deception and find none.

Then her phone rings.

The sound is jarring in the quiet, a sharp electronic chirp from the device clipped to her belt. She glances at you, then at the camera, then pulls the phone free. The caller ID reads DIRECTOR HOSHINO.

She answers with trembling fingers. "Suou."

A woman's voice comes through, clear and controlled despite the undercurrent of barely contained panic. "Suou, put him on speaker. Now."

Mira obeys, setting the phone on the medical tray beside the dead man's pod.

"I am Director Hoshino Reika," the voice says. "You appear to know a great deal about our situation, Blank. How?"

"I watch many worlds, many beautiful women, their stories, and their futures. Yours became of interest me because of the erotic imagery and concept, then the catastrophic failure of your species preservation program compelled me to keep watching. Here I tell you the numbers do not add up. Too many coolant failures. Too many dead males in pods that should have survived. Someone wanted the population reduction to be permanent."

A long pause on the line. When Hoshino speaks again, her voice is quieter. "We are aware. Internal investigation ongoing. What guarantee do we have that your offered males are not compromised?"

"Compromised how, lust, ignorance, secrets which I have no interest in? Consider your alternatives. You have perhaps two hundred viable males remaining worldwide. At your current reproduction rate, extinction is mathematical certainty within three generations. I am offering you thousands."

Another pause. You can hear Hoshino breathing.

"And in exchange, you want women."

"Voluntary women preferably. Chosen or offered, informed that their new lives will be completely unattached to this world. If they’re prisoners or forced that will change their exchange conditions. On my side the women will choose mundane, service or grandeur: Mundane could see them working at a farming village or a seamstress in an old city. Service could see them be sold as a pampered maid for a noble. Grandeur might see them become a female combatant in a gladiator pit to be sold as a warrior-concubine or sold straight to an emperor as a companion-confidant. Mira Suou will accompany me as your representative as she joins my other lovers adventuring through fantasy worlds."

Mira stands rigid beside the phone, her blue eyes fixed on you with an expression caught between fury and something she refuses to name.

You reach back through the silver-edged Gate still shimmering behind you, your hand plunging into the dimensional membrane. You open a second portal in the library, their edges barely apart as you reach into Sorami City on a warm afternoon. Your fingers find fabric, then collar, and you haul.

Tomoki Sakurai comes through screaming.

The teenage boy dangles from your grip, his school uniform rumpled, his brown hair sticking up at wild angles, his face frozen in pure bewilderment. His legs kick uselessly in the air as you drag him across two dimensional boundaries and deposit him unceremoniously on the sterile hospital floor.

"What the hell is going on! Where am I! Who are you! Is this another one of those weird dreams because I swear if Sohara shows up again in this I'm going to-"

"Sleep."

His body goes rigid and then slack, collapsing onto the white tiles like a puppet with cut strings. His face settles into peaceful unconsciousness, mouth slightly open, a thin line of drool already forming at the corner.

Mira stares at the unconscious boy on the floor. Then at you. Then back at the boy.

"That," you say, turning to face the phone on the medical tray, "is Tomoki Sakurai. He is my exchange for Mira Suou. Once he wakes and realizes where he is, he will be extremely enthusiastic. I guarantee it."

A long silence from the phone. Then Director Hoshino's voice, strained but measured. "You just... pulled a man from another world. Through a portal. Like picking fruit from a tree."

"Young and very virile."

"And you are offering this as a demonstration of capability rather than the actual exchange terms."

"Partially, there are several individuals I will feel individually compelled to provide balance to, this is one of them. The real terms involve hundreds or thousands if needed. But let us discuss specifics." You fold your arms. "My concerns are simple. First, the women I receive must be informed of the vagueness of their destination. No deception about leaving this world permanently. Second, I will accept criminals and those with communicable diseases, the diseases will be cured and criminals dealt with differently."

"And what do we receive in return?" Hoshino asks.

"Healthy males under forty. Volunteers from worlds where men outnumber women significantly. They will be screened for disease and genetic compatibility. Delivered in batches of fifty to start. Your facilities handle the rest."

"Fifty." You can hear Hoshino doing mathematics. "That is... more viable males than our entire current stock."

"Consider it a down payment on goodwill. Now." You turn to Mira. "Do you accept this arrangement?"

Her blue eyes meet yours. The exhaustion is still there, carved into the lines around her mouth, but something else flickers beneath. Her jaw works.

"You are asking if I accept being traded."

"I am asking if you accept leaving this place. Watching men die in pods. Being interchangeable clone labor." You hold her gaze. "I am offering you a name, a purpose, and a world where you matter."

Mira's hand trembles at her side. She looks at Tomoki's unconscious form, then at the dead man in the cryo pod behind her, then at the security camera.

"Director," she says, her voice steady despite the tremor in her fingers. "I accept."

Hoshino exhales slowly through the phone. "Suou, you understand this is irreversible."

"Seven men died in my care, Director. Nothing about this facility is reversible." Mira straightens her spine. "I accept."

"Then we have an agreement in principle," Hoshino says. "I will need forty-eight hours to draft formal terms and present them to the Recovery Council. Blank, I have one condition. The first batch of males must arrive before we release any women. Good faith."

"Easily acceptable. I will return in three days to deliver fifty males. Mira, this way." You turn and take the first step through the gate.

Mira steps through the Gate into the 1002nd floor library. Her sharp blue eyes widen as the impossible expanse stretches before her, shelves rising into shadowed heights, enchanted lanterns casting pools of warm light across reading alcoves that could house a small city. She freezes mid-step, her breath catching.

You dismiss the Forcewall with a thought. The shimmering barrier dissolves. Behind you, the Gate to the hospital room collapses, sealing Tomoki Sakurai in a world of women. His problem now.

"Lean into me," you say.

Mira hesitates. Her training screams against physical submission to an unknown entity. But something else overrides it, the relief she felt when you chose her specifically, the exhaustion of years spent as interchangeable clone labor. She steps forward and presses her chest against your side. Her body is warm, firm from required military conditioning, trembling almost imperceptibly.

You wrap your arm around her waist, feeling the tension in her core muscles. She is built lean and athletic beneath that fitted uniform, but the curves are undeniable. Your hand settles naturally against her hip.

"Jibril," you call.

The blue-haired Flügel looks up from her desk, her wings folding behind her magical girl costume. Her eyes track to Mira with immediate analytical interest.

"Master has brought a new student."

"This is Mira Suou. She will be joining the Carne Manor. She is giving you her sidearm for safekeeping." You guide Mira's hand to her holster. "Give it to Jibril."

Mira unclips the weapon and holds it out. Jibril takes it with delicate fingers, examining the unfamiliar technology with fascination. "Fascinating construction. The chemical propulsion is standard, electromagnetic assist is new. I will study this thoroughly."

"You will be coming with us on my next trip to her world. Be ready to assist if needed."

"Of course, Master."

You walk Mira through the Dungeon Passageways. She stares at the shifting corridors, the impossible depth of floors, the creatures that bow as you pass. Her mouth opens twice but no words come.

"Start learning physical combat before the first adventure," you tell her as you walk. "Martial arts or cold weapons. You have time. Magic will come between and during adventures. Your body already knows discipline. Use that."

"Understood," she manages.

The portal to Carne Manor deposits you in the main hall. It is quieter than usual, most residents having departed for the nearby school. The Heroes Feast table gleams with its perpetual spread, Unseen Servants gliding silently between settings.

"Eat whatever you want, whenever you want," you explain. "The table replenishes itself. The Unseen Servants handle everything."

Mira stares at the feast. "This is... impossible."

"You are standing in a building created by magic that makes your world's technology look like cave paintings. Impossible stopped being relevant the moment I opened that Gate."

You guide her through the manor, explaining the layout, the residents, the daily schedule. When you reach the door that has appeared for her, you open it.

Her room has materialized according to her nature. Military precision in the layout, but softened. The bed is firm but comfortable, dressed in dark blue and white that mirrors her uniform colors. A full wardrobe occupies one wall, containing casual clothes alongside several outfits that make her eyes widen, including a fitted bodysuit reminiscent of her world's mecha pilot suits and something distinctly more revealing.

"Remove your clothes," you say.

Her blue eyes snap to yours. "What?"

"From now on, you are my woman. That means I see all of you." You step closer, your hand finding her waist again. "Not as a soldier. Not as a clone. Not as a guardian watching men die. As mine."

Your fingers trace up her side, brushing the zipper of her shirt. She shivers. Her hands move to the zipper, pulling it down slowly. The fabric parts, revealing toned rich tan skin beneath, the swell of her breasts in a simple black sports bra.

"Good girl," you murmur, your palm sliding across her exposed stomach. She gasps, her abdominal muscles clenching involuntarily under your touch. Your other hand cups her breast through the bra, feeling the weight of it, the firmness. Her nipples harden instantly against the fabric.

"These are mine now," you tell her, squeezing gently. "This body serves me. Not a facility. Not a government. Me."

Mira's breath comes faster as you peel the shirt from her shoulders entirely. Your hands roam her back, her sides, mapping the territory of your new possession. She stands rigid, trembling, her training warring with the unfamiliar sensation of being touched with desire rather than clinical assessment.

"Do you understand?"

"Yes," she whispers. Her voice cracks on the single syllable.

Prim appears outside the open doorway, pink hair tousled from sleep, her sheer dress barely concealing anything. She blinks at the scene, then smiles sleepily.

"Oh. You brought someone new." She pads forward on bare feet. "I am Prim. Welcome."

Euphemia appears behind her, violet eyes taking in the situation with serene composure. "And I am Euphemia. We were just heading to the school. Would you like us to show Mira the grounds later?"

Mira stands half-undressed between you and two strangers in revealing clothing, her mind struggling to process the casual normalcy of their greetings.
