As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 132: Chapter 30 - One Down... Three More...
In front of me, four princes were holding their wooden swords. Judging by their thin, luxurious shape, they weren’t too heavy on their wrists.
Unlike the wooden sword I used, mine have a dominant weight in the blade to tip. Also, the armor and swords the princes used were very different from the equipment I had used during my intensive training.
"There’s no need to hesitate to use your best abilities. At most, you can only swing a wooden sword in all directions, right?" I said while replying to their comments that annoyed me.
The annoyance I’d been holding back couldn’t be contained any longer after seeing the four princes treating this as a mere match. Their faces weren’t serious about engaging in an honorable fight that put their mother’s honor as Queen of the Kingdom of Belfast at stake.
This situation gave me two motivations: the desire to punch them in the face and the reward of a thousand gold coins.
"You guys aren’t too weak to fight me with wooden swords, are you?" I asked, raising my wooden sword and preparing to fight them on fair terms.
Oh, wait a minute...
Fighting fairly? What kind of ridiculous nonsense is that?
I will fight most unfairly!
I have prepared the six basic elemental magics; now it is their turn to feel the fury of my wooden sword and elemental magic.
"Don’t be so arrogant, little maid. You have no idea how hard our training as Prince is. You’ve never experienced waking up early and running around the vast palace. SO SHUT UP!!" said the first prince with a smug smile.
"I always woke up before sunrise and do morning run under the spell of Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg bombardment. What’s so special about that running around the vast palace?" I replied, while pointing out the difference in our training.
"..." The first prince pressed his lips together; he started to stare at me with a sharp gaze after my wooden sword was pointed at him.
"The training you’ve undergone may sound like a baby just learning to crawl. Just hearing it makes me concerned about your crushing defeat. I suggest you save your shame for later."
With those harsh words, I made it clear that their defeat was imminent.
Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld and Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg looked at me with proud expressions, piquing the curiosity of the King, who was trying to remain calm in the dire situation before his eyes.
"In addition to undergoing swordsmanship training from Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, she also underwent magic training from Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg? My sons will have a hard time to winning. One well-trained young girl against four princes with standard training that is not too strenuous? There’s is no hope," said the King, sounding very loud in his deep voice.
"Oh, come on, our sons won’t be defeated that easily, you know," the Queen said to calm the King.
"The Duchess’s training alone was already too much for our sons in the past, and with the Marchioness’s magic training, it’s already a one-sided battle."
I don’t know what the King was thinking; he thought of me as a scary figure who could defeat the four princes easily.
The honorable match had not yet begun, but their defeat had already cast a shadow that dampened their fighting spirit.
I lowered my wooden sword, stuck the tip in the dry ground, and tilted my head until it made a sound.
Krrraaakkk...
Krraaakkk...
I felt like a young girl old enough to do this embarrassing thing. The front garden was even more crowded than usual, with several maids curious about the handsome princes and several butlers eager to see the three princesses up close.
No one pays attention to me except my mother and a few people I’ve recently become close to. I don’t know them, but they’ve helped me in some ways as a trainee maid.
Brraaaakkk...
Brrraaakkkk...
A man clad in thick iron armor entered this prestigious fighting area. Judging by the events, it seemed he would be the referee for this honorable battle.
The man stopped right in front of us.
"This honorable battle will begin upon my command. Please fight fairly and uphold your honor as royalty!" he said, glaring at the first prince.
Cttiinngg!!
Cttiiinngg!!
Suddenly, my survival instincts kicked in, and my danger detection abilities alerted me to the closing danger.
I can see the princes prepared their attacking stances, trying to engage me with dirty tactics.
Even before the match began, I can sensed their cunning plan to win with dirty ways.
Gllaarreee...
Gllaarreee...
Of all the trouble that was about to happen, my attention was drawn to Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s graceful smile. She seemed to have planned this all, and the idea of a day off from intensive training became a blur in my mind.
"So that’s how it is, huh?"
"A days break from intensive training turned out to be just empty talk..."
"I don’t want to believe it, but that’s the reality I’m facing, huh?" I grumbled as I drew my wooden sword in a lazy attack stance.
My intensive training is still in the foundational stage. Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld hasn’t taught me her sword techniques yet, but I’ve already memorized her slashing techniques after withstanding her heavy attacks several times.
All I had to do was block their attacks and punch them in the face, a pretty easy plan for a apprentice maid like me to pull off, right?
"Everyone get ready!" said the man in front of me while holding out his hand in front of me.
"The honorable match of the apprentice maid against the four princes... begins!" The man immediately raised his hand, signaling the honorable match to begin cunningly.
I wasn’t too surprised by the cunning tactics in front of me; all the princes kicked sand in front of me to make me get my eyes blurry by the sand; however, I was much more cunning than the amateur princes before my eyes.
"Ball..." continuing my delayed magic chant, I imagined a ball of light shining brightly on this bright morning.
Blliinnkk!!
Blliinnkk!!
It was a delayed magic spell derived from the Lightball spell, a spell intended to provide light at night. However, in the hands of a cunning maid like me, the Lightball spell turned into a blinding light.
Blliiinnkkk!!
Blliiinnkkk!!
Blliiinnkkk!!
Furthermore, I set the bright light to a rapid blinking interval, making it difficult for princes eyes to adjust to the strong light intensity. All the princes closed their eyes, halting their dirty attacks that wanted to kick dust into my eyes, causing me to launch a surprise attack.
After blinding their view, I immediately threw my wooden sword at the fourth prince. His size, being about my age, made him a prime target for the opening attack.
Swuunngg!!
The wooden sword was thrown and hit him in the body, his hands busy covering his eyes, which were dazzled by the bright light from my Lightball spell. His underhanded tactic was thwarted, and I immediately ran to punch him in the head.
Poooowww!!
The annoyance I’d been holding in became the primary motivation for painting his face with a lot bruises. A natural makeup look for a man who enjoys fighting and causing trouble alongside the main character in this novel’s world.
I clenched my fist and threw a full-force punch at his face, unleashing a heavy punch that hit his face without any protection.
Buugghh!!
Buugghh!!
After being hit by my heavy wooden sword and receiving my punches in succession, his innocent face that didn’t know anything and was dragged into this trouble turned into a bruise that covered his handsomeness.
As my bare fists slammed into his head, he smiled bitterly, unable to fight back before falling unconscious. I quickly grabbed the wooden sword I’d thrown earlier, rushing back to my starting position before the Lightball spell end.
Blliinnkk!!
Blliinnkk!!
Blliinnkk!!
That bright and fast flash of light would blind a human’s eyes quickly; I purposely placed the bright ball of light within the all princes’ field of vision, making sure they were all dazzled by the bright light that pierced their eyes.
Then, hitting them one by one with my bare hands, I did this to satisfy my irritation after being considered a weak apprentice maid.
Oh! For the third prince, who considers me strong due to receiving direct training from Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld and Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg, he has the opportunity to fight me with respect.
The lightball I had cast slowly faded; I wasn’t affected by the rapid flashing of bright light because my main goal was to hit the fourth prince’s face until he fainted.
Swiippp...
Swwiiippp...
Holding the wooden sword in my left hand, I waited for their eyes to recover after being dazzled by the bright light. My right hand, fresh from hitting the fourth prince in the face, waved it around to soothe the pain.
Several maids and butlers who witnessed my attack were silent; they seemed speechless and amazed at the same time.
With a graceful attitude, I tried to smile in front of the remaining three princes.
"One prince has fallen..."
"There are still three more..."
"You’re not going to just stand there and be defeated, are you?" I asked, waiting for the three princes to recover from their momentary blindness.
Compared to Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who hard to see the openings to land a decisive blow, these four princes were full of exploitable openings and weakness. Just a slight touch could unsettle their defenses, which were unaccustomed to swift, surprise attacks like this.
"My Dear Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, I have already received my thousand gold coins. May I stop now before you have to worry about preparing four thousand gold coins?!" I asked in a loud voice.
I don’t mean to be arrogant with this small victory.
Playing with the enemy’s emotions is a battle tactic too, right?
With that in mind, I tried to break the fighting spirit of the three remaining princes by showing the difference in our abilities.
It’s time for them to blame bad luck for fighting against me, who doesn’t hesitate to punch them in the face.
For four thousand gold coins, I will punch their faces with great care!
