Chapter 280: Endra comes to know about the sea of stars

The Inauguration Ceremony of Excellency Aiden Vhorn into the International Union as honorary patron and member came to an end.

Shortly after that, the International Union released a piece of news that shook Endra and changed everyone’s perception of everything.

Aiden Vhorn and some of his loved ones had discovered interstellar technology in the ruins of a secret sect.

There were interstellar civilizations out there.

According to what Aiden Vhorn and his loved ones discovered from an AI in the starship about the Interstellar community, Endra was unregistered as part of the wider Interstellar community. This meant that Endra was unprotected and in constant danger.

To be able to incorporate Endra into the wider interstellar community and register it with the Universe Alliance, the hegemon power governing the universe, someone from Endra had to become an influential member in at least a star system branch of one of the powerful organizations under the Universe Alliance.

This was the requirement that had to be met for Endra to be incorporated into the wider interstellar community, have the protection of the Universe Alliance from basic interstellar threats, and have access to the basic cultivation system that allowed legendary rank 4 warriors to break into rank 5 and higher realms.

Many sighed. So it turned out that the reason why Endra could not discover other life in the universe was because their technology was so backwater that they could not travel far from Endra into outer space. Also, only rank 5 warriors could actually travel into outer space without using starships. This was why some legendary rank 4 warriors had tried travelling through space without their bodies, but their bodies turned into ashes.

The International Union also shared the basic cultivation ranks in the wider universe with the people of Endra.

So, legendary rank 4 was not the highest rank?

Rank 9 was the highest realm, and ranks beyond rank 4 had 7 sub realms: beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert, legendary, mythic and transcendent?

This news shook Endra once more.

Many realized that Endra was just a frog at the bottom of a well.

Most importantly, everyone was asking, what would the International Union do about incorporating Endra into the wider interstellar community?

This was when the International Union answered.

Excellency Armstrong Lee released another piece of news through a press conference.

The Devil Of Endra, Aiden Vhorn, was planning on using the starship he had obtained from the ruins of that ancient sect to travel the sea of stars, make a name for himself in The Universe Warriors Association branch in the Torrence Empire of the Vermillion Galaxy, the nearest Galaxy to Endra. As long as he was able to become a higher up of one of the branches of the Universe Warriors Association in one of the Star Systems of this Torrence Empire, he would be able to register Endra into the Universe Alliance database, and Endra would be incorporated into the wider Interstellar community.

Of course, everyone knew Aiden Vhorn’s nature: that he wasn’t being heroic. He was definitely doing this because of his loved ones. And most importantly, he was travelling the sea of stars in personal pursuit of strength.

Some residents of Endra, however, raised some questions.

“Will any of the excellencies be escorting the Devil of Endra on this interstellar voyage?”

“That’s right? Won’t it be safer for some of the higher ups of the International Union to travel out of Endra with him?”

These questions were asked at the press release and also on social media forums.

Of course, the International Union had already considered this possibility, and they had an answer to these questions.

They responded that it was because Endra may have gotten rid of the Paranormal Liberation Order, but they were still under the threats of terrifying chaotic beasts and gate-pocket world incidents.

The powerhouses of the International Union were needed on Endra to protect Endra from these threats.

Everyone found this reasoning sound. They had almost forgotten that just because the Paranormal Liberation Order had been dealt with didn’t mean that ecological threats would fail to exist. The existence of chaotic beasts and pocket worlds was something that could not be eliminated. But powerful warriors were needed on the planet to subdue chaotic beast tides and resolve close gates of pocket worlds.

“Even if Excellency Vhorn leaves alone, he will be fine!”

“Indeed. If there is anything he’s good at, it’s surviving!”

“Heh. I can’t help but look forward to the Devil of Endra gaining infamy in the sea of stars!”

“That’s right, as long as the Crimson Reaper enters the sea of stars, his infamy will spread there.”

“Since it’s the Ghost Strategist, then Endra will be incorporated into the Interstellar community!”

“That’s right. It’s funny how we all know he’s doing this for himself and his loved ones, but we can’t help but root for him!”

“It’s not surprising. After all, whatever his motives, Endra will benefit from his actions.”

“Heh. Also, he’s not a hero, and he doesn’t owe anyone anything. He’s not burdened by responsibilities like saving the planet. Endra is just benefiting from his actions once again. I am certain that if his loved ones were not on Endra, he would have probably left the planet and just travelled the sea of stars without registering Endra with the Universe Alliance.”

“Indeed. Knowing Excellency Vhorn, that’s true. The only reason why Endra benefits from his actions is because his loved ones are here. It’s safe to say that we are fortunate he managed to secure allies here. If not…things wouldn’t look good for us…”

Discussions brewed online, in news channels and various places of gathering across Endra.

Meanwhile, the Devil of Endra himself had retreated completely from the public eye after his inauguration ceremony.
