It was too late to run.

Far too late.

The wings covering Angel’s face parted.

What lay beneath could only be described as handsome, with Perfect features. Golden eyes. A halo burning behind him.

But that smile...

That one smile made him a monster. Wide And Crooked. The kind that sent ice down your spine.

"Good Deed: Fifth Wave."

In a blink, reality warped.The forest vanished.

They were standing on endless white marble now, under a sky of molten gold.

El and Juda’s eyes went wide. Not with surprise. But With fear.

"Realm of the Gods: Judgment."

Shei’s whip fell from her hand. The woman who never flinched and had an infinite ruthless spirit now looked hopeless.

"The pinnacle of power ... The Fifth Wave... How are we supposed to fight that?"

In this world, Fifth Wave was the absolute peak. The power every Calamity and Good Deeder killed to reach.

Time stopped. Leaves froze mid-air. The wind died. And in the center of it all, Angel floated, Elegant. Untouchable.

"Now," he said softly. "You die. Calamities."

*WHOOSH*

He was behind the Devil.

"No!!! Bernard!!" Liues screamed.

Devil turned slowly. Looked at her. Then at Morgan.

Morgan couldn’t hear him, but he saw his lips move.

_"I’m sorry, Morgan... I couldn’t watch you grow like I promised..."_

He never finished.

*SHNK*

Angel’s wing came down like a sword.

Devil’s body dropped. Headless and

Angel stood there holding Devil’s head by the hair. Blood driping onto the white marble.

Silence.

Morgan heard his mother’s scream, muffled, like it was underwater.

He couldn’t feel anything.

"WATCH OUT!!!"

Shei moved.

She threw herself in front of Morgan, her whip igniting with black light.

"*Calamity Second Wave: Tri-Whip*"

The single whip split into three, screaming through the air toward the incoming feathers.

*BANK!!!*

One feather shattered all three whips.

The next three didn’t stop.

*THUNK. THUNK. THUNK.*

One through her skull. One through her throat. One through her stomach.

Angel raised his hand. Shei’s body lifted into the air. Then He slowly closed his fist.

*CRUNCH*

Shei was torn in half. Blood and guts exploded outward, drenching Liues and Morgan.

"*Calamity Third Wave: Overload*"

El grabbed Morgan and vanished in a bolt of lightning.

"*Calamity Third Wave: Shadow Matriarch*"

Juda dissolved into black mist. The mist swallowed Liues and shot forward.

"You cannot escape Judgment," Angel’s voice followed them. "Submit. And die."

Juda was supposed to be untouchable in mist form.

So why did he feel it?

*SSSYIN*

His legs were gone.

He crashed out of the mist, still holding Liues. Blood gushed from where his legs used to be.

One of Angel’s wings dripped red. Angel flicked it clean and smiled.

"There is no escape."

He lifted his wing and aimed it at Juda’s face like a gun.

Liues scrambled to her feet, shaking.

"Go... back!" Morgan’s voice shook as he turned and look backwards towards his mom and Juda

"We can’t!" El yelled. "We have to break the Realm first! If we break it we can maybe esca—"

"Please. Go back."

"Morgan—"

"I SAID GO BACK!!"

*BAAAM!!!*

Green lightning suddenly exploded from Morgan.

The shockwave sent El tumbling across the marble like a cannonball.

When the light faded, Morgan stood there.

His green hair was floating. His eyes glowed green. Green thunder crawled over his skin. His whole body was shaking.

El picked himself up after tumbling for a while, the he stared at Morgan, eyes wide open. "How... how is that possible?"

Even Morgan looked at his hands in disbelief.

Then a sudden translucent screen appeared in front of his face:

`[Power Unlocked: Copy]`

`[You may now replicate any ability you have witnessed with enough mana]`

The Realm of Judgment trembled.

Angel turned his head towards Morgan.
