Awakening the Useless Class...But I am Secretly the Strongest!
Chapter 63: Dungeon
Ryan looked at the list and nodded with satisfaction.
Five spins, five Legendary-Rank rewards.
Although he hadn’t obtained anything beyond Legendary Rank, the rewards were still quite impressive.
In particular, Spatial Exchange and Origin Essence Crystal caught his attention.
The former was a useful spatial ability, while the latter might prove valuable when he started working on equipment enhancement or special evolution.
"Not bad at all."
Ryan closed the inventory interface.
He had finally finished examining all the rewards from his MVP chest.
However, looking at the collection of valuable items he had accumulated, he couldn’t help but feel that he had quite a lot of things to take care of.
He still needed to learn the new skill, decide what to do with the pet egg and Elemental Insight Stone, and find suitable uses for the crafting materials.
And that was without considering the Instant Dungeon Ticket he hadn’t used yet.
Ryan’s gaze eventually settled on the Instant Dungeon Ticket.
He took it out of his inventory and examined the golden ticket in his hand.
"Well, I might as well see what kind of dungeon this thing has prepared for me."
He was quite curious about the dungeon’s contents.
Unlike ordinary dungeons, this one was randomly generated, meaning he had no idea what kind of environment, monsters, or rewards awaited him.
However, that was precisely what made it interesting.
Ryan wasn’t particularly concerned about the difficulty either. The ticket clearly stated that the dungeon’s difficulty would be adjusted according to his current strength.
What interested him more was the possibility of encountering unique monsters and hidden bosses.
After all, with Perfect Loot, every powerful enemy he defeated was a potential source of new abilities, attributes, bloodlines, and other valuable rewards.
If he could encounter a few unusual boss monsters, he might even obtain something he wouldn’t normally have access to.
"Hopefully, there’ll be some interesting bosses inside."
Ryan smiled slightly before activating the ticket.
[Instant Dungeon Ticket detected.]
[Would you like to activate the Instant Dungeon Ticket?]
"Yes."
The golden ticket immediately dissolved into countless particles of light.
[Instant Dungeon Ticket activated.]
[Generating a random dungeon...]
[Analyzing user’s current strength...]
[Adjusting dungeon difficulty...]
[Searching for suitable dungeon environments...]
Several notifications appeared one after another.
Ryan watched them with interest as the system continued processing his request.
A few seconds later, another notification appeared.
[Dungeon generation successful!]
[You have obtained access to a special dungeon.]
Ryan’s eyes narrowed slightly.
A special dungeon?
He hadn’t expected that.
Before he could examine the notification further, another system message appeared.
[Would you like to view the dungeon information?]
Ryan selected Yes.
A large system window immediately appeared in front of him.
[Dungeon Information]
Name: Thousand Faces Illusion Dungeon

A mysterious dungeon where reality and illusion intertwine.
The dungeon is inhabited by numerous spiritual creatures and illusion-based monsters capable of manipulating the senses, creating false memories, and distorting the perception of reality.
Adventurers entering this dungeon may encounter creatures with unusual spiritual abilities, powerful illusion techniques, and mysterious soul-related powers.
The deeper one ventures into the dungeon, the more dangerous its inhabitants become.
Special Features:
Illusionary environments that can distort the perception of space and time.
Monsters possessing unique spiritual and soul-related abilities.
Hidden bosses with special abilities and bloodlines.
Special rewards related to spirits, illusions, and soul manipulation.
Dungeon Completion Reward: Hidden
Ryan carefully read through the information.
"Thousand Faces Illusion Dungeon, huh? Interesting."
He glanced at the recommended level.
Between 200 and 300.
That was considerably higher than the levels of most ordinary monsters he had encountered.
However, the dungeon’s theme caught his attention more than its difficulty.
Spirit and illusion-based monsters.
There was a good chance that some of them possessed unusual abilities, making this dungeon particularly interesting for someone with Perfect Loot.
"Hmm, this could actually be useful."
Ryan opened his skill list.
"Do I have anything that can help me deal with illusions?"
He began examining his available abilities.
After looking through them for a while, his attention settled on one particular skill.
[Fallen Heart]
Rank: Epic
Type: Special Passive Skill
Source: Fallen Priest
Description:
A special ability obtained from the Fallen Priest.
Grants the user exceptional resistance against spiritual interference, mental manipulation, and soul-based attacks.
It also helps stabilize the user’s consciousness against external influences.
Ryan nodded.
"Right, I have this."
The ability should prove quite useful in a dungeon filled with spiritual and illusion-based monsters.
However, there was another skill he remembered.
"Then there’s also..."
He opened his skill list again and searched for another ability.
Soon, he found it.
[Soul Vision]
Rank: Legendary
Type: Special Active Skill
Source: Vampire Baroness
Description:
Allows the user to perceive the soul energy of living beings and spiritual entities.
Reveals spiritual traces, detects hidden souls, and helps distinguish spiritual entities from ordinary physical objects.
With sufficient mastery, the user can perceive certain concealed spiritual presences and identify abnormalities in the surrounding soul energy.
Ryan nodded in satisfaction.
"Not bad. I have everything I need to deal with most of their tricks."
Although he couldn’t guarantee that these abilities would protect him against every illusion or spiritual attack, they certainly gave him a considerable advantage.
He had resistance against soul-related interference and an ability that allowed him to perceive spiritual entities.
Moreover, if he encountered a particularly troublesome boss, he could simply use Perfect Loot after defeating it and acquire its abilities.
Ryan glanced at the dungeon information again.
"Alright, let’s see what interesting things are waiting for me inside."
Without wasting any more time, he confirmed his decision.
[Dungeon Entry Confirmed.]
[Preparing dungeon transfer...]
A faint spatial distortion appeared around Ryan.
[Welcome to the Thousand Faces Illusion Dungeon.]
The moment the notification appeared, the space surrounding Ryan began to distort.
A faint ripple spread beneath his feet, followed by a brilliant flash of light.
In the next instant, his surroundings completely changed.
Ryan found himself standing in the middle of an enormous forest.
Tall trees stretched toward the sky, their thick branches intertwining overhead and blocking most of the sunlight. A thin layer of mist covered the ground, while countless tiny particles of light floated between the trees.
The atmosphere was strangely peaceful.
However, Ryan didn’t let his guard down.
He glanced around before opening his system interface.
[Thousand Faces Illusion Dungeon]
Current Location: Forgotten Spirit Forest
Floor: 1
Dungeon Progress: 0%
Current Objective: Explore the Forgotten Spirit Forest.
Warning: The environment contains powerful illusionary energy.
Ryan raised an eyebrow.
"An illusionary forest?"
He looked at the trees surrounding him.
Everything appeared perfectly normal, but he could sense a faint disturbance in the surrounding mana.
He activated Soul Vision.
A subtle change occurred in his vision.
The world around him gradually became clearer as faint traces of spiritual energy appeared throughout the forest.
Ryan noticed several unusual things.
Some trees contained considerably more spiritual energy than ordinary plants, while others had strange black markings hidden beneath their bark.
He even spotted a few small spiritual creatures hiding among the branches.
"Hmm..."
Ryan narrowed his eyes.
"So there are spirits here too."
He was about to examine one of the nearby creatures when a notification appeared.
[Warning! An illusionary presence has detected your arrival.]
Ryan stopped.
A moment later, the mist surrounding him began moving.
Several figures gradually emerged between the trees.
At first glance, they looked like ordinary humans.
However, their bodies were slightly transparent, and their faces constantly shifted between different appearances.
Some resembled young men, others elderly individuals, while a few had completely unfamiliar facial features.
Ryan activated Soul Vision again and Appraisal too as he looked at the monster that appeared.
[Monster Detected!]
[Thousand-Faced Phantom]
Rank: Rare
Level: 205
Type: Spiritual Creature
Description:
A mysterious spiritual creature native to the Thousand Faces Illusion Dungeon.
It possesses the ability to alter its appearance and imitate the forms of other living beings.
Its primary abilities revolve around illusion manipulation, spiritual interference, and identity imitation.
Threat Level: Moderate
Ryan looked at the creatures with interest.
"Level 205? Not bad."
There were seven of them.
Although their appearance was somewhat strange, Ryan wasn’t particularly concerned.
He was more interested in their abilities.
If he could acquire their transformation or illusion-related skills through Perfect Loot, they might prove useful in the future.
One of the phantoms suddenly stepped forward.
Its face changed several times before settling into the appearance of a middle-aged man.
"Another visitor..."
Its voice sounded strangely distorted.
"How unfortunate. You shouldn’t have come here."
Ryan tilted his head.
"Why’s that?"
The phantom didn’t answer.
Instead, all seven creatures raised their hands simultaneously.
The surrounding forest suddenly changed.
The trees disappeared, replaced by an endless stretch of darkness.
Countless unfamiliar faces emerged from the shadows, staring directly at Ryan.
[You have been affected by Thousand Faces Illusion!]
[Attempting to interfere with the user’s perception...]
[Fallen Heart activated.]
[The mental and spiritual interference has been partially resisted.]
Ryan glanced around.
The illusion was certainly unusual, but he could still sense the spiritual energy of the creatures responsible for it.
He smiled slightly.
"Interesting trick."
His eyes glowed faintly as Soul Vision activated.
The darkness surrounding him began to crack.
[Soul Vision activated.]
[Seven spiritual entities detected.]
[Illusionary environment partially revealed.]
Ryan looked toward the seven phantoms.
"Found you."
The next moment, his figure disappeared.
A series of spatial fluctuations spread through the forest.
Before the phantoms could react, Ryan appeared directly in front of the first one.
His sword flashed.
The phantom’s body split apart, releasing a burst of spiritual energy.
[Thousand-Faced Phantom defeated.]
Ryan glanced at the notification.
However, before he could examine the rewards, the remaining six phantoms began retreating.
Their bodies dissolved into the surrounding mist.
Ryan raised an eyebrow.
"Trying to run?"
He leaned in and activated Death Step as he melted into darkness and rushed ahead at very high speed as his sword spun reaping the lives of all of them.
