Bang! Bang! Bang!!!

As Tohru’s draconic aura swept over them, Zolgear, who had been so smug just moments earlier, was instantly terrified into dropping to his knees.

The demon retainers who had charged forward fared even worse, crushed flat against the ground beneath the overwhelming pressure. Some of the weaker ones burst into blood and died on the spot, becoming corpses in an instant.

“Wait… Something is seriously wrong here!?”

Zolgear muttered to himself in a daze, nearly collapsing flat onto the ground from fear.

Tohru’s strength alone had already far exceeded anything he could have imagined.

She’s a maid!?

Whose maid is this ridiculously strong!?

He didn’t understand. Zolgear genuinely couldn’t understand how things had ended up like this.

Looking at their miserable, terrified state, Tohru was speechless.

“They don’t seem like guests, but they don’t seem like enemies either. What kind of enemy is this weak?”

In Tohru’s mind, someone had to at least be capable of standing in front of her before they qualified as an enemy.

These low-level, foolish demons weren’t even worthy of enduring her aura. If she put even a little effort into it, she could crush them all to pieces.

Seeing Tohru still hesitating there with that clueless look on her face, however, Mio was already burning with rage.

“Don’t kill him. Leave him to me!”

“ZOLGEAR!!!”

Mio stared straight at him, the hatred and fury in her eyes unmistakable. Her emotions erupted all at once as she screamed the name of the enemy her father had shouted before his death.

She would never forget that day.

Her adoptive parents had been killed by the demon standing before her!

Zolgear’s face had remained engraved in her memory every moment since then. There was no possibility of forgiveness until she avenged her parents.

“You shameless piece of trash… you damned animal! I’m going to make you understand exactly what price you’ll pay for what you did back then!!”

Mio advanced toward him step by step, tangible flames of magical power blazing around her body.

Her terrifying pressure had already reached the threshold of Demon Lord-class, as though she might break through into Super Demon Lord-class at any moment.

Zolgear, who was merely an Ultimate-class demon, was so terrified that he lost control of his bladder and bowels. His eyes bulged wide as he stared at her, utterly scared senseless.

“H-how is this possible!? It’s only been half a year! You were nothing but a little girl whose bloodline had just awakened! How could you possibly have become this terrifying!?”

His expression twisted as he screamed hysterically.

“An illusion! That’s right, all of this has to be an illusion!”

Yet the fear in his eyes couldn’t be hidden.

“Zest! Hurry up and save me! You stupid woman, stop standing there watching! I’m your fiancé!!”

Then he turned his attention elsewhere.

“And Maria! Your family is still in my hands, so don’t you forget it! If I die, none of you will ever have peace again!!!”

Zolgear’s desperate screams made everyone present freeze.

Some of Mio’s fury subsided as she turned around in shock. Her brows knitted tightly when she saw Maria, who had completely lost her usual cheerful energy.

Zest, who had been standing off to the side without interfering, could only reveal herself with a helpless expression.

Raising a hand, she activated her magic and instantly formed a massive hand of earth, which grabbed Zolgear and dragged him over.

“I’m sorry. I may despise him, but in the end, he’s still my comrade.”

With a cold, solemn expression, Zest resolutely stepped in front of Mio.

Behind them, demon wings emerged from Maria’s back as she gathered magical power in both hands and glanced helplessly from side to side.

There was nothing she could do.

With her current strength, the only people she could bully a little were Asia, Yuki Suou, and the others. She couldn’t possibly handle Mio now, let alone Tohru, who was standing right there.

That dragon maid existed on an entirely different level from her. Tohru could crush her to death with a single finger.

“Big Brother Takumi~~ I really don’t know what I’m supposed to do!!”

“I don’t want Mom to die, but I… I…”

Maria collapsed onto the ground and began crying helplessly.

She truly couldn’t make a choice.

On one side was the mother who had raised her since childhood. On the other were Takumi and the others.

That was exactly why she had struggled with the decision for so long without ever choosing a side. But now that Zolgear himself had appeared, she had no idea what she was supposed to do anymore.

“At a time like this, you should trust my strength a little more, Maria.”

Takumi’s voice suddenly sounded beside her ear.

“Crying all by yourself and wallowing in misery all by yourself… that’s the kind of thing that makes me angry.”

Maria immediately looked up toward the voice, tears still streaming from her eyes.

Takumi stepped out from a spatial wormhole as though an immortal had descended into the mortal world, walking through the air itself. Yuki and Kurumi followed behind him, clearly having headed home after finishing their burgers.

The moment Tohru saw Takumi arrive, she withdrew the aura surrounding her.

She immediately pointed at Zolgear and explained what had happened.

“This unbelievably weak, low-level creature suddenly showed up at the house…”

“Tohru, just remember this from now on. Generally speaking, whenever an ugly-looking male like this comes knocking, he’s an enemy. Just get rid of him. There’s no way someone like that would be my friend.”

“Oh~~ I see.”

Tohru nodded, carefully committing his instruction to memory.

Then she took a step back and stared directly at Zolgear.

“So, should I kill all of them now?”

The people Tohru included in that statement also encompassed Zest.

Toward Zolgear, Tohru felt nothing but simple killing intent. Zest, however, was different.

Her short, silvery-white hair fell neatly to her ears, giving her a bold and valiant appearance. Her features were beautiful and seductive yet refined, while her entire body was covered in Amazon-like bronze skin that gave her an exceptionally sexy, wild allure capable of stirring a man’s desire to conquer her.

Her elf-like pointed ears, on the other hand, looked especially cute. Even the demon horns atop her head resembled a pair of black rabbit ears.

Her tall figure was both voluptuous and slender. The skintight one-piece bodysuit hugged her body closely, outlining her nearly bursting curves, narrow hourglass waist, and high, perfectly rounded rear in exquisite detail.

Her long, full thighs looked even more shapely and firm beneath her white leather pants.

Even without saying a word, the seductive yet noble aura she exuded was enough to make anyone’s blood race.

She was dressed fairly conservatively, yet a figure that good simply couldn’t be hidden.

Toward a woman who had an extremely high chance of becoming another “vixen,” Tohru made no attempt whatsoever to conceal her hostility.

Zest’s body instinctively trembled under Tohru’s stare.

At that moment, however, all of her attention was fixed on Takumi, who had suddenly appeared.

Even when she had only seen him from afar before, Zest had already found him breathtaking. Now that she was looking directly into his eyes from such close range, an indescribable electric sensation spread through her heart.

A delicate cherry-pink blush appeared across her bronze skin, somehow blending cuteness and seductiveness together perfectly.

She lightly bit her lip and shook her head, trying to clear her mind.

She belonged to the War Faction.

Right now, Takumi was her enemy!

The thought left Zest looking somewhat dejected, but she still managed to steady herself.

As Takumi looked at Zest continuing to stand resolutely in his way, he couldn’t help but admire her courage.
