He saw it—within that region where Laws ran wild and darkness seethed, two figures were locked in a life-and-death struggle!

One was the "vessel" exuding a terrifying gray aura, twisted and abstract—Senior Brother Xu Ran!

The other was a slender girl, cloaked in soft golden light, Jade Sword in hand, her silhouette frail yet incomparably unyielding—Xu Qinghan!

He could feel Xu Qinghan’s Power weakening rapidly, while the Power of the "vessel" was constantly growing stronger!

That gray pillar of light seemed to be feeding the "vessel" with endless Power, or performing some critical form of transformation!

He had to stop that pillar!

"Master of Nothingness! I won’t let you succeed!" Yu Kong roared, his voice echoing through the Restricted Area.

His figure was like golden Lightning, threading its way through the storm of chaotic Laws.

He skirted deadly spatial ruptures, slipped past bizarre temporal traps; in his eyes there was only the path ahead!

He saw the "vessel" extend an abstract limb, effortlessly twisting the space around Xu Qinghan, pinning her in place.

Then his other hand lifted, and in his palm a gray, ever-spinning Energy sphere condensed, radiating a soul-trembling aura of destruction!

The target of that Energy sphere was, grimly and unmistakably, Xu Qinghan!

"Qinghan! Look out!" Yu Kong screamed hoarsely, gathering all his Power into the longsword in his hand!

"Guardian Judgment!"

An unprecedented burst of dazzling golden light exploded from Yu Kong’s longsword!

This was no longer simple Purification or cutting—it was an ultimate strike infused with his entire will, his entire Power of Guardian!

The golden light tore through the Restricted Area’s chaotic Laws, like a sword of dawn cleaving the darkness, streaking straight toward the gray Energy sphere in the "vessel’s" hand!

Yet the "vessel" seemed to have foreseen his attack long ago.

His hollow eye sockets turned toward Yu Kong, that abstract "face" devoid of expression yet emanating an absolute chill and disdain.

He did not retract the Power aimed at Xu Qinghan; instead, he split off a portion of his Power to erect a twisted Law Barrier before himself!

That barrier was woven from collapsing space, delayed time, and corrosive consciousness Laws, emanating a despair-inducing sense of distortion!

A deafening detonation erupted in the depths of the Eternal Restricted Area!

His body was flung backward like a severed kite, blood spraying wildly!

That Law Barrier had actually withstood a strike in which he had poured all his strength!

And that was merely a portion of the Power the "vessel" had split off!

Even more terrifying, the gray Energy sphere attacking Xu Qinghan was completely unaffected, still carrying unstoppable might as it blasted toward the immobilized Xu Qinghan!

Xu Qinghan struggled to stir the Power of Guardian, trying to break free of the bindings, but the space around her seemed to have solidified; even moving at all was a grueling effort!

She watched helplessly as the gray Energy sphere grew larger before her eyes, felt the destruction contained within it, and a trace of despair welled up in her heart.

She had inherited the Guardian’s legacy, she had found a method to oppose nothingness, she had even found the hope of saving her senior brother... yet all of it now seemed too late!

At the instant the gray Energy sphere was about to touch Xu Qinghan, the Jade Sword in her hand suddenly erupted with a peerless, radiant light!

This light was not purely golden, but tinged with an indescribable, star-like scintillation!

Immediately after, a faint layer of dark-golden light and shadow surfaced around Xu Qinghan’s body!

It was the phantom of that broken Armor she had seen in the secret chamber before!

The dark-golden light and shadow fused with the Jade Sword’s glow, forming a barrier that, though thin, was exceptionally tenacious, interposed before the gray Energy sphere!

But he did not stop.

More gray Power surged out from within him, pouring into the Energy sphere attacking Xu Qinghan!

The gray Energy sphere’s glow grew even more blinding, while the cracks on the dark-golden barrier rapidly spread, as though it could shatter at any moment!

Yu Kong, who had been flung away, forced himself to endure his injuries; seeing this, his eyes flushed blood-red!

"Qinghan!" he roared, and once more charged forward, heedless of everything!

He knew his Power alone could not match the "vessel", but he could not simply watch Xu Qinghan fall!

The Guardian’s Manual at the center of the altar floated into the air, resonating with the Jade Sword in Xu Qinghan’s hand and the longsword that had been flung from Yu Kong’s grip!

Among the three, an invisible link seemed to form!

Next, a majestic, boundless Power surged forth from the depths of the altar!

It was... the true Cosmic Origin gathered by the Eternal Restricted Area!

This Power, like a waking dragon, instantly surged into the bodies of Xu Qinghan and Yu Kong!

The dark-golden barrier at the brink of shattering stabilized at once, and its light flared brilliantly!

The Power within Xu Qinghan’s body revived like a dead tree meeting spring, recovering in an instant, then began to soar at a shocking pace!

Yu Kong’s body jolted as he felt the surging Power flooding into him!

His injuries healed in a heartbeat, and the Power of Guardian climbed at an unprecedented speed!
