When everything returned to calm, the Shadow of Nothingness had utterly vanished, leaving only a chaotic region woven from Golden Black Fire. And at the center of this Chaos, faint yet incomparably tenacious ripples of "life-force" slowly spread outward.

She could sense that the Shadow of Nothingness’s Power had been wholly absorbed by her, turned into a part of her Fire. She could even reconstruct some simple matter out of Nothingness itself—though it was but a fleeting blossom, it was enough to prove her mastery over the void.

She continued deeper, and the core region of the Land of the Origin of Nothingness finally appeared before her eyes.

It was a scene beyond the power of language to describe. No light, no matter, only an ultimate pitch-black, as if it were the end of the Cosmos, and at the same time the origin of the Cosmos. Within this ultimate blackness, no Law could be sustained, no concept could exist. All returned to "nothing," returned to "extinction."

Yet within this extremity of "nothing," one could vaguely sense an unimaginable ancient fluctuation. That fluctuation carried a primordial Chaos, a stillness from before the opening of heaven and earth, and at the same time contained endless life-force and destruction. It was unlike any void Power she had ever sensed before—far purer, far more ancient, as though it were the "heartbeat" of the Cosmos itself, yet a reversed heartbeat, each pulse accompanied by the Cosmos’s extinction and return to Gui Xu.

"So this... is the Master of Nothingness’s true form?" Xu Qinghan’s heart trembled. She could feel that this fluctuation was the Source of the Master of Nothingness’s Power, and also the root from which, through countless ages, it had ceaselessly eroded the Cosmos and ground away all life-force.

She could feel that the Master of Nothingness was not a living being, but a concept—an extremity of "nothing." It fed upon the Cosmos’s extinction, delighted in the return of all things to Gui Xu. It sought to turn the entire Cosmos into eternal Nothingness, so as to attain the "eternity" as it understood it.

Between Xu Qinghan’s brows, the Eternal Mark suddenly burst forth with a dazzling golden-black radiance. That light was no longer mere Runes, but condensed into an ancient and mysterious "Eternal Eye." Within that eye, golden-black chaotic light flowed, profound and inscrutable, as though it could see through all things in the world and pierce the very Origin of the Cosmos.

She could sense that the Master of Nothingness’s Power was spreading across the entire Cosmos in a manner never seen before. It was like the "black hole" of the Cosmos, ceaselessly devouring life-force, devouring matter, devouring Law, attempting to turn everything into "nothing."

She hesitated not in the slightest. She fiercely stirred the Power of Fire within her body, her form transforming into a towering golden-black Fire God. The golden-black Taiji Diagram spun violently, turning into a colossal golden-black vortex that charged directly toward the extremity of "nothing" that was the Master of Nothingness.

A world-shaking roar exploded within the Land of the Origin of Nothingness; the void was utterly shattered, all Law annihilated. The golden-black Taiji vortex and the extremity of "nothing" collided fiercely, devouring each other, transforming each other.

The extremity of "nothing" tried to grind away the golden-black Taiji vortex, to consign it utterly to Gui Xu. Yet the golden-black Taiji vortex was like a bottomless pit: not only did it devour this extremity of "nothing," but in the process of devouring, it deconstructed and purified it, finally turning it into the purest Energy, feeding back into Xu Qinghan’s Fire.

More terrifying still, within the golden-black Taiji vortex, the golden portion that represented "life-force" began, after devouring the extremity of "nothing," to breed new "being," new "life-force." Strand after strand of faint yet incomparably tenacious Law chains extended out from within the golden-black Taiji vortex, attempting to once again "bind" and once again "define" this extremity of "nothing."

"You... you can actually turn my lord’s Power into life-force?!" The Master of Nothingness’s voice was filled with despair and terror; its consciousness trembled violently within the extremity of "nothing." It could feel its own Origin being forcibly "reversed" by the Fire Taiji vortex, transforming from "nothing" into "being."

"Nothingness is not the end—life-force is what is eternal!" Xu Qinghan roared to the heavens. She violently urged the golden-black Taiji vortex, completely enveloping the extremity of "nothing" that was the Master of Nothingness.
