Watching the heavy snow falling outside, Renee sighed and slowly returned to the house with her big belly.

Bored, she picked up the milk on the coffee table and took a sip.

"Days without tea are really dull," Renee helplessly put the now empty cup back on the coffee table.

In the past, she could occasionally have some tea, not green tea, but even black tea sufficed, providing a small relief to this old tea drinker.

But ever since a certain check-up when the doctor mentioned that drinking tea leaves was bad, Renee has avoided touching tea leaves entirely.

This isn’t the most important issue. The most terrifying thing is, Xuran is worried that Renee would secretly drink tea leaves, so much so that he hid all the tea leaves away.

They are hidden so securely that Renee has turned the house upside down but hasn’t found a single bit of tea leaves.

Without tea leaves, Rene expressed that coffee would work too, though she’s not too fond of it, but life should really be more than just juice, milk, and plain water, right?

"Sigh, maybe buy some cocoa." Although she wasn’t very keen, since her body has started entering a rapid fattening phase, Renee really pays attention to various things.

But to occasionally improve flavors, Renee is genuinely determined.

Gong Ruzhi came out yawning from the room, hearing his sister constantly chattering in the living room.

"Sis, what are you doing?" He wondered if his sister was about to go out for a walk, immediately raising his guard.

Knowing that his brother-in-law repeatedly reminded him to keep an eye on his sister, making sure she doesn’t go out.

Outside is a heavy snowstorm, and the snow is thick, going out now is really no joke.

"I want to drink cocoa." Renee isn’t expecting her brother to be willing to help.

The brother who used to always listen to his sister now really listens to Xuran.

"Just that?" No way, when did his sister become so compliant? Clearly, she used to make all kinds of fuss about wanting to go out, and it’s just their brother-in-law who calms her down.

As for how he calms her down, Gong Ruzhi hasn’t experienced it personally, but he knows plenty of conditions must have been promised; he definitely does not want to get caught up in that.

"Yes." Gong Ruzhi’s distrustful tone made Renee feel quite hurt.

Her previous fuss was a bit unreasonable, just to vent her anger at Xuran.

What’s the point of getting angry at Gong Ruzhi this kid? Absolutely none; should her younger brother promise some conditions?

"You’re not planning to sneak out, are you?" These days, New York has been snowing heavily, although school holidays have begun, companies are also about to start their Christmas vacations, and Dai Liren is also returning to New York.

Gong Ruzhi has thus extinguished any thoughts of going to California, especially since today Guang Ran and the others are returning from Japan, how could Gong Ruzhi not be happy.

Although the exact situation is unknown, apparently quite successful, just counting on those few times Guang Ran called back, generously asking Gong Ruzhi what gifts he wanted, and there being no limits on gifts, you can infer quite a bit.

With gifts to receive, Gong Ruzhi certainly doesn’t want something to happen to his sister, at a time when everyone should be joyful and happy, absolutely no accidents can occur.

"I swear, I won’t go out." Not leaving, but it’s so cold outside, Renee can already imagine, "By the way, go check the kitchen, are the supplies prepared?"

Originally Guang Ran made a lot of money this time while in Japan, he should treat their group to a famous restaurant in New York for a little celebration.

But given the current adverse conditions, how could they go out for a meal, it’s only possible to eat at home, only to strive to prepare the food as lavishly as possible.

Since his sister said so, Gong Ruzhi expressed he would trust her just this once.

"By the way, sis, did you drink your milk?" Glancing at the empty cup on the coffee table, he also felt relieved.

Even after leaving, still leaving behind a supervisor, Renee thought about it and felt all sorts of unpleasantness, pointed to the already empty cup, "I drank it all."

"Oh and, I’d like some orange juice." If this is about being a supervisor, then truly work hard as a supervisor, go get to work.

"Sure." Gong Ruzhi understands this is his sister’s way of venting dissatisfaction, isn’t it just squeezing juice, this job he’s been doing a fair amount of recently.

"By the way, sis, want some pear juice too?" Walking into the kitchen, seeing there’s pear, remembering how tasty this thing is, he turned and asked.

Renee nestled on the sofa, covered with a small blanket, holding a book, "Sure."

What to drink isn’t important, what’s important is letting your brother do the work, "Also, handle the ingredients, please."

Really unceremonious, Gong Ruzhi that was helpless, but regardless, he can only handle ingredients, can’t let his sister handle it can he?

"By the way, are you hungry, sis?" Checking the time, this should be the time to make morning snacks for his sister.

"Let’s have some fermented rice balls." Renee, without considering much, directly placed the order.

Fermented rice, Gong Ruzhi wasn’t sure if there was any at home, but if his sister said so, there surely must be.

Gong Ruzhi rummaged through the fridge, didn’t find anything, promptly navigated to the freezer in the dining room, searched briefly, then found the fermented rice.

Looking at the packed freezer, Gong Ruzhi shook his head, a house with only three permanent residents, both a big fridge and a freezer stuffed full.

"Once we move, there will be more people, truly unsure how large a fridge we’ll need."

"At least three freezers, seven or eight fridges." Renee answered aloud, hearing Gong Ruzhi’s mumbling from the living room.

Uh, really? That many fridges? Oh God, Gong Ruzhi really can’t imagine, is this aiming to open a restaurant?

Never mind, this isn’t something the child should ponder, instead of thinking about these, it’s better to consider how to handle the program just worked on.

While making snacks for his sister, Gong Ruzhi quietly considered how to handle the program.

Renee took a sip of the juice Gong Ruzhi squeezed for her, "The taste is nice."

"Glad you like it." Hearing his sister’s praise, Gong Ruzhi felt relieved.

If his sister said it didn’t taste good, who knows how long this could drag out.

Last time, when his brother-in-law squeezed juice, his sister said it didn’t taste good, had to redo several times to satisfy her, scared the heck out of Gong Ruzhi.

Seeing the long exhale of Gong Ruzhi, Renee really wanted to say she only dares to make a small fuss with Xuran, absolutely won’t fuss with Gong Ruzhi.

"Don’t know if the roads outside are safe for driving." Renee really felt helpless.

Guang Ran apparently chose today to return, the weather really isn’t good.

"Oh, isn’t Dai Liren also returning today?" Christmas is almost here, though Dai Liren doesn’t have much desire for it, but better than him moping in the California all alone.

Especially since Limin is also coming back, as the elder brother how can he not welcome his younger brother.
