"Why is that? Why are perfectly good clothes being given away?" Mother Cheng is shocked.

Cheng Su laughs, "These are styles from a few years ago, and they’re not really fashionable anymore. Besides, what doesn’t Guangcheng have? I can just buy new ones there!" Does she lack money for a couple of pieces of clothing?

Mother Cheng calls out to the heavens several times, pointing at her and scolding her for being a spendthrift. Those clothes, in her eyes, are not worn out or torn; some are even quite new, seemingly worn only a few times, yet she says she doesn’t want them?

"Come, have some pumpkin pancakes!" Mother Cheng comes out with a plate of golden pumpkin pancakes.

The group picks up chopsticks one after another, and suddenly there’s a knock on the door. Mother Cheng goes to open the door, and outside is Deng Weixia’s family of three.
