Chapter 1032: Will Lose Her Forever

Qiu Qianghai didn’t even spare him a glance.

Sitting still without the slightest change in posture, not even a flicker in his eyes, he seemed as serene as a monk in meditation.

Anton Bolin’s gaze lowered, observing the tightly clenched fist placed on the sofa, knowing that his inner world was far from calm.

Anytime he mentioned the woman in his mind, Qiu Qianghai’s reaction was always of ruthless resistance.

"Tch!" Qiu Qianghai scoffed coldly.

He finally moved.

His eyes shifted to Anton Bolin sitting opposite.

Qiu Qianghai stared at Anton Bolin with a cold gaze, a wicked smile tugging at his lips, destroying the last vestige of gentlemanly demeanor.

He slowly began, "A candid conversation? You must want to push me into Hell, never to rise again."

"How could that be? Your current issues all stem from that lady. I think you both need deeper communication. This will aid your recovery more than medication and will be quicker and more stable."

Anton Bolin’s tone was quite astonished.

A cruel and violent glint suddenly appeared in Qiu Qianghai’s eyes, his expression cold as still water.

After staring at Anton Bolin for a while, Qiu Qianghai’s face regained its usual gentleness but still held a gloomy hue.

With a malicious smile, his voice was filled with unfathomable malice: "If she knew I wanted to gouge out her eyes and keep them as precious treasures, making those beautiful eyes see only me, do you think she’d be scared, maybe even leave me forever?

If she wants to leave, I’d imprison her in this house forever, where no one can see her, just the two of us here, never apart for a lifetime.

Do you think she’d flee to a place where I’d never find her?"

Seeing Anton Bolin’s shocked expression in response, Qiu Qianghai slowly lowered his gaze, his smile turning self-mocking.

After a moment, he looked up, expressionless: "I won’t tell her; otherwise, I will lose her forever."

This was his most genuine thought.

On the day he learned of A Min’s identity, he fell ill.

At the time of his attack, he thought that her eyes were so beautiful, if only they could focus solely on him.

Or he could confine her in this house, without any disturbances from others, that would be even better.

However, the little sanity left told him he couldn’t do that.

He would frighten her.

Anton Bolin, hearing Qiu Qianghai’s words, regained composure quickly after the initial shock.

His face showed no excess emotion, as if such reactions from a patient were normal.

Holding a pen, he quickly jotted something down on paper.

Anton Bolin’s tone was gentle, with slight soothing: "I understand Mr. Qiu’s thoughts, but you can’t keep her locked away; the problem circles back to that lady now. Honesty is needed in relationships, at least a little; you must let her know of your feelings as the first step. I suggest each meeting with her, whether in gesture or conversation, increase intimacy, which will ease your anxiety.

As for your previous mentions of eye gouging and imprisonment, that’s actually an exclusive desire every man has for someone they love, albeit it only exists in dark musings within, inhibited by reason and morality. Yet, Mr. Qiu, your case is particular; your possessiveness is heavier than others."
