Back to the 80s: Raising my Wolfy Boyfriend
Chapter 1181: My Fate Is Mine, Not Heaven’s
Gu Jin curled her lips into a malevolent smile.
Something happened to Little An, he was about to die, she couldn’t waste time with this group of people.
She had said, for Little An, she wouldn’t hesitate to stain her hands with blood.
Everything had just begun, and she wouldn’t leave herself any retreat, determined to find Little An’s lost Two Souls and Seven Spirits.
"You’ll be punished by Heaven!" cursed the middle-aged man.
Gu Jin’s face showed mockery, her eyes dark and bloodthirsty: "My fate is mine to decide, not Heaven’s!"
If it were the former Gu Jin, she might still have a bit of kindness in her heart, but the incident involving An Mingji completely shattered her belief in being good.
The middle-aged man seemed not to expect Gu Jin to be so arrogant. He shuddered with his lips trembling: "Three feet above our heads, there are deities. You commit evil today, you will surely be punished by Heaven in the future!"
"I await it! If there truly is a Heavenly Dao, return my Little An to me, then let it punish me, no matter what you say! I don’t buy that, I only want Little An’s Three Souls and Seven Spirits whole!"
Gu Jin was angry, she stepped on the other person’s foot with force.
The Mountain Guardian she held hostage was easily snapped in the neck by her.
Like discarding garbage, she casually threw the person to the ground, her beautiful eyes filled with anger, scanning the frightened and uneasy crowd around for her next target.
The middle-aged man remained silent, yet the other Mountain Guardians around grew panicked.
One young and short man couldn’t help but kneel on the ground, crying and pleading.
"Don’t kill me, don’t kill me, I’ll talk, I’ll talk!"
The man trembled all over, not daring even to meet Gu Jin’s eyes, looking as if he was a child not yet of age kneeling on the ground.
Gu Jin stared at this person, a look of disgust in her eyes.
These people exuded a dense black mist, their hands stained with countless lives, yet they dared speak of Heaven’s punishment before her.
Those who do evil must die, she considered herself never to have harmed the innocent.
But what was Heaven’s reward for her? Little An’s life was uncertain, nearly taking her life.
"Speak!" Gu Jin’s eyes coldly focused on the man kneeling on the ground.
Terrified, the man’s entire body shook, his lips trembled as he slowly opened his mouth: "That, that person’s Hidden Arrow Soul is imprisoned within the Array."
Imprisoned?
Gu Jin’s face drastically changed, her gaze icy cold.
"Where are the other souls and spirits?"
These people dared to treat Little An in such a manner!
Not killing them would not satisfy her anger.
"Maybe... maybe still wandering in Death Valley," the man said unsurely.
Gu Jin trembled with rage as she looked at Ling Qiong standing beside her. The latter surveyed the surroundings, his brows furrowed, his expression unsightly.
"What do you think?" Gu Jin asked.
Ling Qiong withdrew his gaze, gently shook his head at her: "Within a hundred miles, there’s no sign of the young man’s soul, except there."
He pointed his hand to the rows of shabby huts not far away.
"There lies An Mingji’s Hidden Arrow Soul, seemingly trapped by the Array."
Gu Jin took a deep breath, lifted her foot, and led the group straight to the huts.
The huts before her, on the surface, seemed to have been there for some years.
But when they came the first time, they didn’t see any of this.
Gu Jin murmured to herself: "Quite strange, why didn’t we see them last time."
Ling Qiong: "That’s because the Array conceals it. As long as one wishes not to be discovered, the Array can be activated."
He lifted his foot and was the first to step into the huts.
Gu Jin followed, as did Linda and Allen.
As for the group of Mountain Guardians they left behind, no one cared about their life or death.
The group stepped into the huts, and the oncoming Evil Qi made their eyes squint slightly.
