Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 113: My People Play However You Want 40_1
The scream came from the spot in the sea where Baili Xia had just dived.
When Mu Xiaojiu and Ye Hua arrived, the scene below was in chaos, with someone apparently injured.
Both men and women were scrambling to get back on board.
Mu Xiaojiu quickly spotted Baili Xia.
She was clutching a swim ring, just like everyone else, trying to make her way back to the boat.
The sea around them was unusually calm, except for the chaos in their midst.
People swimming in other parts of the sea were also rushing towards the yacht because of the chaos.
Everyone was jostling to get back on board, leaving Baili Xia, the little girl, pushed around, hindered from even getting close to the yacht.
Seeing Mu Xiaojiu was about to untie the belt that secured his bathrobe, Ye Hua immediately tried to stop him.
“Mr.
Xiaojiu, they’re targeting you.
If you dive in, you’re playing into their hands.”
Mu Xiaojiu didn’t respond but tossed away his bathrobe.
Under the shine of the moonlight, his body, usually hidden from public view, seemed extraordinarily tall.
His long legs, a model of aesthetic proportionality, looked even more graceful with every step he took.
Despite the fear and chaos, the sight of Uncle, clad only in his swimsuit, held everyone breathless, making them forget about getting back to the boat.
In the disorder, Baili Xia caught sight of the man standing by the yacht’s staircase.
A glance at him was enough to make her heart pound.
Uncle was indeed very charming.
But weren’t they in a crisis right now?
God, the queue to get on board had come to a standstill, she couldn’t get on!
No matter how appealing Uncle was, was he more important than their lives?
What was everyone thinking?
Mu Xiaojiu stood by the staircase, constantly scanning his surroundings.
If someone was injured, there must be assassins lurking around.
They had deliberately created this chaos to strike at him.
As Ye Hua suggested, diving in at this time would do him more harm than good.
But that girl couldn’t get back on board!
His man had not arrived yet, and more importantly, the scene was too chaotic.
The assassins could be hiding anywhere, which was just what Ye Hua feared.
Seeing Mr.
Xiaojiu had already positioned himself at the edge of the staircase, evidently preparing to dive, Ye Hua’s heart tightened drastically.
“Mr.
Xiaojiu, think twice!”
Mu Xiaojiu’s deep gaze fell upon the sea.
Suddenly, before Ye Hua could stop him, he plunged into the sea with a splash.
Within moments, he had disappeared.
The girls began to scream again.
Uncle had dived!
But where did he go?
Why did he disappear so quickly?
Suddenly, with a splash, two men burst from the water and began to grapple with each other.
One was a man arranged by Ye Hua, the other was an unknown man dressed in black swimwear and holding a knife.
But to these rich young men and women, both men were strangers.
Seeing them fight, more screams erupted.
Everyone tried to rush up the staircase back onto the yacht.
Baili Xia intended to do the same, but in the ensuing scramble, someone stepped on her shoulder.
Before she could cry out, her swim ring slipped from her hand.
Without the support of the swim ring, she was engulfed by the sea.
Someone inadvertently pushed her, immediately sending her further away from the crowd.
With the sway of the waves, she was suddenly two or three meters away from them.
Getting back on board seemed an even greater challenge.
