Why come here, Baili Xia couldn’t answer that.

Looking at the woman’s incredibly familiar face upon meeting, then turning to glance at the man standing not far away, always silent.

Baili Xia’s heart trembled slightly; maybe this was Uncle’s purpose.

But, why?

He knew everything about her, there was nothing much to say about it.

Yet, why did he bring her here?

The woman was still staring at her, Baili Xia blinked her eyes and could only casually make up an excuse.

“I… just came to have a look.” Not wanting to pursue this issue further, she immediately asked, “Last time you mistook me for your benefactor, well… have you seen your benefactor?”

Bei Qingyou was no longer here, so the question was naturally redundant, but it was a good entry point.

Sure enough, upon hearing this, the woman’s face immediately dimmed.

She shook her head, yet still looked at Baili Xia, a hint of brightness in her eyes.

“You really resemble my benefactor. Even after all these years, others might have forgotten, but I still remember clearly.”

She stared at Baili Xia, scrutinizing her closely.

“I can’t speak for others, but the appearance of my benefactor, even after more than ten years, is etched firmly in my mind.”

“In her youth, you and she are like two peas in a pod…”

Thinking of this, the woman suddenly opened her eyes wide.

“Could it be, you… you are… you are her…”

“No!” Baili Xia shook her head, denying it immediately.

As expected, the woman’s face immediately fell.

Apparently, her gratitude towards Bei Qingyou was truly profound.

Yet, the death of the sixth miss of the Bei Family was known to all of Bei Miao.

Why didn’t she know, and why was she still waiting here for her benefactor to return?

Could it be she didn’t know Bei Qingyou’s identity?

“Auntie, actually, there’s a question I’ve always wanted to ask you.” Baili Xia held her hand.

She looked back at Mu Xiaojiu, who was still standing there, his tall figure against the sunlight, indescribably dazzling.

The woman wasn’t oblivious to his presence, nor was she unaffected by his brilliance.

However, the woman in front of her resembled her benefactor too closely.

Because of this, even the shock from the super handsome guy could be pushed aside.

What’s more, for someone as old as her, what would seeing a handsome guy matter?

She had long passed the age of being infatuated and dreamy.

“What do you want to ask me?” She looked at Baili Xia and asked softly.

Perhaps because the girl truly resembled her benefactor, she naturally felt a liking for Baili Xia.

“I… ” Baili Xia paused and then continued, “Auntie, don’t you know who your benefactor is or where she lives?”

The woman met her gaze but was lost in memories.

After a long time, she shook her head and smiled bitterly.

“I only know she’s called You’er… Yes, her brother Fengjin calls her by her nickname, so all our family calls her You’er.”

Baili Xia’s fingertips tightened, and her breathing, despite herself, became chaotic.

It was indeed Bei Qingyou, truly her!

But Fengjin…

“Did she come with her brother?

Who is her brother?”

“I don’t know their identities, anyway, she calls him Fengjin, so we casually called him Fengjin.”

Thinking of the past, the woman sighed deeply: “Back then, You’er and her brother were truly wonderful, but she hasn’t come for years now.”
