After leaving Wangyue Pavilion, Fan Yi helped Baili Xia slowly return to Bi Luo Pavilion.

Because Baili Xia had internal injuries, they walked slowly along the way.

As they approached Bi Luo Pavilion, Baili Xia stopped.

Catching her breath, she softly said to Fan Yi, “Don’t tell anyone about today’s events.”

Fan Yi nodded, then hesitantly asked, “But if the young master asks…”

“You can’t tell him either. If he finds out, he might worry more, which isn’t good for his health.”

Fan Yi was startled but then nodded.

If it would affect Bei Tianyou’s health, he would definitely heed Baili Xia’s words and not speak, even if Bei Tianyou asked him.

He looked at Baili Xia, somewhat puzzled.

“If you don’t tell anyone, then your injury…”

Paused, he continued to persuade, “Miss Xiaxia, you should go to Mr. Nangong for treatment.”

Baili Xia smiled slightly, somewhat reluctantly.

Although her injury was serious, if others found out, it would only make Bei Tianyou and the others worry more about her, and deepen their hatred towards Guisu.

Guisu was being controlled, and she was almost certain he wasn’t responsible for these actions.

“I know medical skills myself, why would I need someone else’s treatment?”

She was determined to make everything about Guisu clear, though her body felt terrible right now, likely the same for Guisu.

This matter needed a long-term strategy.

She didn’t know how Guisu was doing, she just hoped he hadn’t fallen into Sima Liuyue’s hands again.

“As the saying goes, a physician can’t treat oneself, you should…”

Fan Yi’s words were cut off by Baili Xia.

“No need, just listen to me.”

Seeing Baili Xia so resolute, Fan Yi couldn’t say more and nodded in agreement.

Once Baili Xia’s breathing steadied, they continued walking towards Bi Luo Pavilion.

Nearing Bi Luo Pavilion, Baili Xia, afraid others would notice her injuries, asked Fan Yi to release her so she could walk on her own.

With each step, there was some pain in her chest.

Baili Xia suppressed the pain as best as she could, trying not to let others detect anything unusual about her.

Upon reaching Bi Luo Pavilion and just entering the courtyard, she saw Bei Tianyou slowly pacing out from the hall.

“Brother You,” Baili Xia called softly, forcing a smile on her lips.

If she could avoid it, she wouldn’t speak; every word felt like it tugged at her chest.

Guisu’s blows were heavy; even though he didn’t hit her directly, that fall was deadly.

Even now, she constantly fought the urge to cough up blood.

“Young master,” Fan Yi respectfully saluted.

Bei Tianyou nodded gently, feeling a slight surprise seeing Baili Xia and Fan Yi return together.

Particularly, Baili Xia’s smile was obviously forced.

“Where have you been?” he asked Baili Xia calmly.

“Young master…”

“I had Fan Yi take me around for a walk.”

Afraid Fan Yi would slip up, Baili Xia quickly made up an excuse.

Seeing Baili Xia respond, Fan Yi remained silent and respectfully nodded.

Luckily, Baili Xia was quick to come up with a reason.

Just moments ago, Fan Yi was startled by Bei Tianyou’s question, too nervous to know how to respond.

His loyalty to Bei Tianyou was absolute, and he had never deceived him before.

If he’d had to answer, there was a high chance he’d give something away.

Bei Tianyou merely nodded slightly and did not press further.

He looked at Baili Xia, speaking slowly, “Mu Xiaojiu has arrived.”
