Baili Xia was just about to ask Wu Ming if they should follow to take a look.

Wu Ming had already stood up and walked to the spot where Bei Fengjin had climbed over the wall and left.

Baili Xia followed, seeing that Wu Ming hadn’t moved, only listening quietly.

She knew that Wu Ming was listening to see if Bei Fengjin had gone far.

After a few seconds, there was no sound outside, and only then did Wu Ming point upward, indicating for Baili Xia to go up.

Just as before, Wu Ming went up first, then pulled Baili Xia up as well.

After they both climbed out, they quickly chased after the white shadow that was about to disappear.

However, they didn’t dare get too close.

With Wu Ming’s keen sense, he had already noticed that Bei Fengjin was not someone easy to deal with.

Getting too close could easily lead to discovery by him.

After walking for several minutes, Bei Fengjin stopped in front of a courtyard.

“Youyang Pavilion?” Baili Xia murmured to herself.

She hadn’t expected Bei Fengjin to head to Youyang Pavilion again; no wonder he was so secretive when he left, not wanting anyone to know.

Baili Xia was much more familiar with Youyang Pavilion.

After seeing Bei Fengjin climb over, she and Wu Ming followed suit, climbing over one by one.

There were fewer surveillance cameras here, so there was no need to be as cautious as in Jin Ye Pavilion.

They entered the courtyard and headed straight towards the direction of Bei Qingyou’s grave in the backhill.

When they reached the backyard, as expected, they saw Bei Fengjin standing in front of the grave, speaking to it.

Baili Xia and Wu Ming were a little far away and couldn’t hear his voice.

They moved a little closer, observing from behind a large tree.

Though they did not dare to get too close, for Bei Fengjin’s martial skills were not weak, and if discovered, it could complicate matters.

As they got closer, Bei Fengjin’s voice began coming through intermittently.

“You’er, how is your body over there, are you okay?”

“Today I brought you some medicines, all of which I have recently developed.”

Saying this, he took out a few bottles from his pocket.

“Look, this bottle has the effect of nourishing the eyes and promoting skin regeneration, but I haven’t come up with a good name for it yet.”

“I know this is most suitable for you; only you deserve to use it.

Try it, and help me come up with a name too.”

“And this bottle is for extending life, this one, for bone setting…”

Bei Fengjin continued to describe over a dozen different types of medicine, explaining each one to the grave.

As he finished explaining each one, he would unscrew the bottle and pour all the powder onto the ground.

Every time he took out a bottle, Baili Xia’s heart would tremble slightly.

Even without Bei Fengjin’s detailed explanation, she could guess that these medicines were immensely valuable.

Though there were many types of medicines, those developed by Bei Fengjin surely had effects incomparable to ordinary medicines.

Such high-quality medicines were all just poured in front of Bei Qingyou’s grave.

How deep was his affection for Bei Qingyou!

Although their feelings were deep, the outcome was…

not so beautiful.

Otherwise, they wouldn’t be separated now by life and death, dwelling in different worlds.

Baili Xia’s heart trembled fiercely, feeling both moved and sympathetic.

Suddenly, she felt a bit of pressure on her chest, this feeling growing stronger by the moment, making it hard for her to breathe.

Baili Xia couldn’t help but open her mouth wide, trying to breathe more smoothly.

She didn’t notice that at this quiet and still night, even slight sounds were easily noticed.

“Who’s there?” Bei Fengjin looked in the direction of Baili Xia, his icy aura instantly spreading.

His voice, cold and devoid of any warmth: “Come out!”
