Bei Tianyou didn’t ask more questions, lowered his head to turn on his laptop, entered a website, and started reading.

After a while, he looked up at Baili Xia and said calmly, “Tonight’s flight couldn’t be booked.”

“Why can’t it be booked?”

“Due to weather reasons, all remaining flights have been canceled. The earliest will be tomorrow morning, but there’s no guarantee it won’t be canceled again in the morning.”

Upon seeing this news, for some reason, Bei Tianyou actually felt a sense of relief.

However, he carefully concealed his ease.

If this girl were to find out, who knows if she would think he was gloating over her misfortune.

But why does it seem…

like there’s really a bit of relief?

Baili Xia, however, felt troubled and frowned her delicate eyebrows.

After some consideration, she decided to book the earliest flight for tomorrow morning first.

“Then… can you help me book the earliest flight for tomorrow?” With no flights tonight, there was nothing she could do about it; she couldn’t exactly grow wings and fly back herself.

“Tomorrow morning is fine, as long as it’s fast.”

“Is it really that urgent?” Bei Tianyou seemed a bit hesitant.

Once these tickets are booked, she will really leave early tomorrow morning.

“Yes, very urgent.” Baili Xia nodded her head.

“What’s it really about?”

Baili Xia still didn’t want to say, shaking her head: “Just some personal matters.”

Seeing that she still didn’t want to say, Bei Tianyou didn’t push her further.

At least, she wasn’t making up an excuse to brush him off.

Not saying is better than lying to him.

“Perhaps, you should discuss it with Mr. Nangong or Mr. Xiaojiu. Going back like this, I fear it might be dangerous.”

His gaze shifted back to his computer, gently tapping his fingers on the keyboard.

After a while, Bei Tianyou looked at Baili Xia and said calmly, “Booked, tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning.”

“Thank you, I’ll have my master pay you for the ticket.” Baili Xia expressed her gratitude.

Bei Tianyou showed a hint of displeasure on his face: “Pay back… don’t want to return?”

Clearly, he was angry because Baili Xia mentioned paying him back for the ticket.

Baili Xia stuck out her pink tongue and smiled, “Just kidding, you’re so rich, why would you bother me for such a small amount of money?”

Really, he gets angry so easily, looks like Brother You’s temper isn’t as good as I thought.

If she doesn’t butter him up a bit, will he directly cancel her ticket?

These big shots are really hard to please!

The displeasure on Bei Tianyou’s face finally faded, his thin lips moved slightly, as if wanting to say something but held back.

“Brother You, I’ll go pack my things first. Tomorrow morning, I might need to trouble you to send someone to drive me to the airport.”

Bei Tianyou lightly hummed in response, saying no more.

After bidding farewell to Bei Tianyou, Baili Xia immediately returned to her room.

This trip back, she didn’t know how long she would stay, maybe not returning until before school starts.

She needed to pack all her things, in case she doesn’t come back, she won’t have to trouble others later on.

Of course, the most important thing is to call Xiaoxiao and make sure Xiaoxiao calms Zimo down.

No matter what, it has to be stalled until she’s back.

… After finishing the call with Xiaoxiao, Baili Xia took out a large suitcase, laid it on the floor, and opened it.

She took all her belongings from the wardrobe and bathroom, one by one.

Only then did Baili Xia realize that she really didn’t have a few belongings.

Afraid this one suitcase wouldn’t be enough.

Just as Baili Xia was putting everything into the suitcase, repeatedly checking if she forgot anything, someone knocked on the door.
