On the way to Youyang Pavilion, Baili Xia simply followed quietly behind Bei Tianyou, like a little follower.

She was really afraid that Bei Tianyou would suddenly stop her from going.

Previously, on her few visits to Youyang Pavilion, it was always sneakily, and she never got a good look at it.

Though later Bei Tianyou mentioned, sometimes at night, she could go.

But actually, she could tell that he was not too willing.

For him to actively take her there was completely unexpected.

Returning this time, she didn’t know when she would come back again.

There were still many unresolved matters here, but once she returned, she couldn’t easily control the time to come back.

Upon arriving at Youyang Pavilion, Bei Tianyou directly pushed open the main door and walked in.

“Brother You…” Baili Xia felt a bit uneasy.

She had never walked through this door before.

Perhaps to allow Baili Xia a clearer view, Bei Tianyou walked especially slowly once inside the courtyard.

Sometimes, he would pause in the courtyard to take in the scenery.

“In the past, Aunt You used to plant flowers and grass here all the time.”

“Every plant and tree here used to be personally planted and pruned by her.”

Reaching here, Bei Tianyou began to talk more.

Baili Xia listened to Bei Tianyou as she observed the courtyard.

Though few people took care of it now, looking at the arrangement of the flowers and plants, one could see how much effort the former owner had put in.

As she watched, Baili Xia seemed to see a very well-shaped woman standing by the garden, trimming the dead branches.

Yet the face was always unclear.

Suddenly, something flashed in her mind, and Baili Xia interrupted Bei Tianyou speaking, urgently asking, “Brother You, do you have a photo of Bei Qingyou?”

“No, ever since Aunt You’s incident, her photographs are forbidden, nor can her name be mentioned.”

“Why are you suddenly curious about seeing her photo?” He looked down at her.

“It’s nothing, just a bit curious what such a woman looks like.”

Bei Tianyou looked at her calmly, without speaking.

After a while, he started walking towards the direction of the backyard.

Baili Xia knew where he was going and followed him into the backyard.

At the backyard, Bei Tianyou didn’t stop but walked directly to the grave of Bei Qingyou.

When Baili Xia reached his side, he suddenly turned and looked at Baili Xia, saying softly.

“Why are you so invested in her matters?”

Seeing Baili Xia about to speak, he added, “I want the truth.”

In the past, he believed her admiration words, but only threefold.

He simply didn’t want to ask.

At least he could tell, this girl had no ill intentions.

But his silence didn’t mean he was entirely gullible, easily deceived by her.

Bei Tianyou’s “I want the truth” made Baili Xia swallow the words she was about to say, anxiety rising in her heart.

Could he really have discovered something?

Otherwise, why ask like this?

What she had done recently was indeed too obvious.

Once known, anyone could easily connect the dots.

But she had no intention of deceiving him.

It’s just that the real reason she still couldn’t tell him now.

Thinking it over, she finally spoke the words.

“Brother You, I truly care about Bei Qingyou’s matters. But I have my difficulties, and I can’t say it now.”

She didn’t want to lie anymore, because she didn’t want to trick him; however, she really couldn’t speak.
