Baili Xia’s gaze followed Mu Xiaoyao’s eyes to her own chest.

There, three buttons on her top were undone, pulled open by Uncle just now.

Although it didn’t expose anything important, the cleft was revealed…

“Ah!” Baili Xia gasped softly, immediately turned around, and frantically tried to button up.

She didn’t know if it was because she was too nervous or something else, but that damn button just wouldn’t fasten.

She remembered even the palms of her hands were sweating; in the middle of winter, her forehead was damp with sweat.

Standing behind her, Mu Xiaoyao didn’t seem much better off.

Although she had now turned her back to him, the view of her chest he saw earlier was clear as day.

That half curve…

His body tensed, and a slight sweat appeared on his forehead.

His gaze fell on her, and he couldn’t seem to look away.

He lacked a woman, that must be why.

So much so that just thinking about Uncle’s large hand being removed from that place made him uncomfortable.

He really wanted…

to hold her in his arms, to touch her…

A rosy scene flashed through his mind in an instant.

Even someone as composed as Mu Xiaoyao couldn’t help but take in a sharp breath.

He turned around, his face sullen, and walked away.

Baili Xia finally buttoned up, and when she looked up, she saw his dark face leaving.

In an instant, she only heard a thud as a room door not far away was opened and then slammed shut.

Brother went into the room…

Judging by his expression when he left, he seemed very unhappy, even…

angry?

Baili Xia frowned immediately, feeling bitterly aggrieved.

He was staring at her chest just now, knowing she was disheveled, and yet he looked so intently.

She hadn’t even gotten angry from being looked at by him, so why was he upset?

A man’s heart is like a needle in the sea, really hard to fathom.

Luckily Brother likes men, otherwise, she’d be mortified from being seen by him.

Thinking about Mu Xiaoyao’s “interests and hobbies,” Baili Xia finally didn’t feel as flustered.

She calmed her breathing and was about to turn around to go back to her room.

Her hand hadn’t even touched the door when she drew it back again.

How could she forget such an important thing?

Uncle was still in the room?

Returning now would be walking right into his trap, wouldn’t it?

But, she couldn’t go to Brother, couldn’t return to the room, and there was another brother in Mo Zimo’s room…

Baili Xia was truly troubled; the Mu family was so big, and yet she had nowhere to go.

Where should she go?

As she pondered, suddenly, the door opened.

A dark face appeared in the doorway, and as he showed up, the temperature on the entire second floor seemed to drop several degrees.

“U-Uncle.” Baili Xia was momentarily dazed, instinctively wanting to retreat.

Uncle was already difficult to deal with under normal circumstances, not to mention when he was angry.

She could guess that the reason Uncle hadn’t come out until now was certainly because of some parts of his body he didn’t want others to see.

Now, hearing Brother’s footsteps leaving, knowing only she was outside, he came out.

Her gaze instinctively moved downward, and seeing it, Baili Xia’s small face turned red instantly.

Sure enough…

his animalistic nature hadn’t subsided…

“Have you seen enough?” The man leaned against the door, casually staring at her flustered face.

Baili Xia inhaled sharply, quickly withdrawing her brazen gaze: “S-seen enough.”

She lifted her head to meet his gaze and was immediately frightened by the darkness in his eyes.

His eyes were so dark and bright, his temper was clearly not small!
