Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 1612
“I’ll have Ye Hua investigate this matter, you don’t need to worry.”
Walking into the Sihai Residence’s hall, Mu Xiaojiu released Baili Xia and looked at Mu Xiaoyao, who was following them.
“You don’t have much to do lately.
You can teach this girl some computer skills.
It might come in handy in the future.”
“Alright.” Mu Xiaoyao nodded, looking at Baili Xia: “Do you want to learn?”
Baili Xia looked at him blankly.
Honestly, learning computer skills at a time like this?
Uncle just wanted to keep her busy so she wouldn’t overthink things.
However, since it was Uncle’s arrangement, she had no choice.
Mu Xiaojiu stayed in the hall, seemingly waiting for Ye Hua to report something.
Mu Xiaoyao had someone bring over a laptop from the main house, and then he looked at Baili Xia.
“You’ll be staying here from now on. I’ll come by often to keep you company.”
Baili Xia was slightly taken aback and looked back at Mu Xiaojiu sitting on the sofa.
Mu Xiaojiu was also looking at her: “It’s good for you to stay here. Just stay in my room.”
He didn’t seem willing to say more, giving Mu Xiaoyao a faint glance.
Mu Xiaoyao immediately took Baili Xia’s hand and was about to head upstairs.
Baili Xia still felt that Uncle’s actions were quite strange.
Now it seemed like she was under Brother’s surveillance.
She knew thinking this way wasn’t fair to Uncle and Brother, but she couldn’t help it.
When they reached the staircase and were about to go up the spiral stairs, Baili Xia stopped.
She looked back at Mu Xiaojiu on the sofa in the distance: “Uncle, should we ask the doctor treating the old master to see if they can find any clues?”
“Alright.” Mu Xiaojiu nodded without a trace of hesitation: “I’ll have Ye Hua ask right away.”
Baili Xia said nothing more and headed upstairs with Mu Xiaoyao.
…
The whole day, Mu Xiaoyao supervised her studies.
Learning programming, getting to know viruses, and learning simple intrusion skills.
He kept teaching, and she kept learning, unable to stop at all.
At noon, right after lunch, Mu Xiaoyao urged Baili Xia to hurry upstairs and study.
It’s unknown why he kept pushing her to learn, not allowing a single moment to be wasted.
Rather than studying, it felt more like a punishment.
By the end of the day, she was utterly exhausted.
However, she did learn a lot of computer technology, especially in hacking skills.
Of course, it was only at an introductory level.
In the evening, Mu Xiaoyao stayed with Baili Xia for dinner at the Sihai Residence.
Uncle seemed to have gone out.
After seeing him in the morning, he wasn’t seen again until nighttime.
Baili Xia had asked a servant to inquire about the old master’s condition.
She was relieved to hear that he was doing fine.
At night, after dinner and a bath, the relentless Mu Xiaoyao appeared again.
Baili Xia was practically driven crazy by him!
She studied for another three-plus hours, and it was only when she was completely exhausted that Mu Xiaoyao finally let her go.
“Don’t worry, Uncle will handle everything. Everything will be alright.”
Seeing the girl collapse on the bed and quickly fall into deep sleep, Mu Xiaoyao covered her with a blanket before leaving.
Looking at her delicate face, he couldn’t quite describe the feelings in his heart.
She couldn’t hear the words he said.
Only when her breathing became steady did Mu Xiaoyao turn to leave.
That night, Baili Xia was awoken by a nightmare.
When she awoke, her throat felt burning and uncomfortable.
She climbed out of bed, intending to go downstairs to the kitchen to find something to soothe her throat.
Unexpectedly, just as she reached the stairs, she heard Mu Xiaojiu’s cold yet furious voice coming from the hall below.
“You dared to poison the old master on your own accord!”
