Baili Xia blinked her eyes and pretended to be surprised, “Brother, you really believe it?”

“Is there a problem?” Mu Xiaoyao was unsure what this little girl was thinking about.

Of course, he didn’t feel there was anything wrong with what he had just said.

Guessing what’s in a girl’s mind is indeed challenging.

Baili Xia smiled lightly and didn’t say anything more.

Although she did feel a bit strained, she really just wanted to play a joke with Brother, not expecting that he would unconditionally believe her.

The key is, when Brother says he believes, he truly does.

He doesn’t like to joke around.

“Brother, I want to exercise a bit, could you teach me?”

“Sure.”

It is rare for him to refuse any of this girl’s requests.

Walking to the parallel bars, he looked down at her, “Single bar or parallel bars?”

“Which one is easier?”

“Both are easy.”

Baili Xia stuck out her pink tongue at him; easy for him, she didn’t think so at all.

Under Mu Xiaoyao’s guidance, she got onto the parallel bars and started swaying slowly.

The parallel bars here weren’t like those low ones in school; they were much taller than an average person.

Once up, her feet were far from the ground.

Mu Xiaoyao stood below, watching Baili Xia move along the bars.

That handsome face of his rarely showed much expression, but those deep eyes were fixed on her figure.

His hands were always tense, fearing that this girl might suddenly fall, needing him to catch her immediately.

However, Baili Xia’s agility was far beyond what he expected.

It seems ever since she injured herself and fell ill last time, and woke up, her agility significantly improved.

It’s said that even Leng Yu was not her match, easily beaten.

Now it seems that it’s true; the girl’s limbs were much more nimble and quicker.

“Brother, come up too,” Baili Xia called softly from above.

The parallel bars were large, enough for several people to train on them.

This specially crafted set of bars must be what Uncle used to train the brothers.

Though very high, once up there, it didn’t feel like much at all.

Mu Xiaoyao just looked at her calmly and shook his head without speaking.

Baili Xia sat on the parallel bars and glanced down at him.

Brother’s posture…

the more Baili Xia observed, the more she felt it was strange.

Was he constantly on guard for her to fall?

Turns out Brother didn’t trust her skills, had so little confidence in her…

A quick grin of faint laughter swept across Baili Xia’s eyes.

With her hands on the bars, she lifted herself up.

Suddenly, she quickly swung towards the opposite side, but her hand slipped accidentally…

“Be careful!” Mu Xiaoyao, seeing it all clearly, felt his heart tighten.

Without thinking, he strode over.

At the moment Baili Xia fell, he caught her steadily in his arms.

“Don’t be afraid, it’s okay!” He looked down at the little one fallen into his embrace.

Expecting to see a terrified face, instead, it was filled with laughter.

The dense sword-like eyebrows of Mu Xiaoyao knitted slightly; after a moment, he finally realized he had been tricked!

His face darkened, and he immediately let her down, turned around, and started walking towards the main house.

Brother was mad!

Just wanting to tease him, Baili Xia panicked instantly and chased after.

“Brother, I was just joking with you, don’t be mad!”

He walked too fast, making her pursuit behind quite strenuous.

Still, she chased hard, “Brother, brother, wait for me!”
