Although Guisu noticed Baili Xia, he remained solemn and didn’t lose focus at all.

Since he had promised to help Bei Tianyou with today’s matter, he would undoubtedly do his best.

When Bei Tianyou finished his speech, he turned around and suddenly noticed Baili Xia beside him, his eyes briefly reflecting a hint of warmth.

“You came down?”

“Yes.” Baili Xia replied, a sweet smile appearing on her face.

“Brother You, are you ready?”

“Yes, let’s set off.”

With that, he gave Fan Yi a glance.

Fan Yi immediately turned around, directing the team to board the sightseeing cars.

Though the competition was overseen by Guisu, the usual logistics were arranged by Fan Yi, given how well he knew the team’s protocols.

Baili Xia followed Bei Tianyou onto one of the sightseeing cars, which he drove, leading the way at the front.

A dozen or so sightseeing cars set off grandly towards the back mountain.

In less than twenty minutes, the sightseeing cars arrived at the competition area in the back mountain.

On this large open ground, over a hundred people were already standing there.

Aside from a few on the podium, the crowd below was clearly split into two groups.

As soon as the sightseeing cars stopped, without needing Bei Tianyou’s direction, Fan Yi had already led the team to line up into two organized groups beneath the podium.

Their orderly manner conveyed their rigorous training at a glance.

Each person exuded an aura that was evidently stronger than the people in the other two groups.

Bei Tianyou led Baili Xia onto the podium, walking towards the Old Madam and the others.

Baili Xia had long noticed the old man seated centrally on the podium.

He had rushed back from out of town just last night to watch today’s competition.

Seeing the old man, Baili Xia suddenly felt a bit emotional inside.

As soon as they reached the podium, before Bei Tianyou could speak, she stepped forward to greet the old man.

“Hello, sir.”

The old man chuckled heartily, saying, “Good, I didn’t expect you to come all the way from Jin City for the competition.”

His kindly gaze glanced at Bei Tianyou, and he continued, “It seems my grandson certainly has good judgment.”

Baili Xia gave an awkward smile, choosing not to correct the misunderstanding for now.

She asked, “How is your health now?”

“Very good. With Mr. Nangong’s treatment, what’s there to worry about?”

He had stubborn health issues in the past, which had kept Nangong Xu busy attending to him in the main house previously.

Upon returning to Jin City, Nangong Xu’s treatment had evidently been effective.

Now, the old man’s face appeared much fuller, and his overall complexion was significantly better.

Baili Xia’s eyes shimmered as she gazed at the old man.

“You must take care of your health. If I get the chance, I will visit you often.”

The unguarded burst of genuine emotion warmed the old man’s heart.

This child, like a family member greeting the elder, expressed no trace of falsehood.

He couldn’t help but raise his hand, gently patting Baili Xia on the head.

“Good, good.”

It was unclear if he was promising to take care of himself or praising Baili Xia for her sensibility.

Bei Tianyou had been standing by Baili Xia’s side, acutely aware of her unusually sincere demeanor.

He reached out, gently placing his hand around Baili Xia’s waist, drawing her attention back.

“Stop occupying Grandpa, go sit down; the competition is about to start.”

He guided Baili Xia to the side, seating her next to Bei Kuangri.

Obediently, Baili Xia sat down, her expression becoming serious.

Earlier, in front of the old man, she nearly couldn’t resist calling him Grandpa.
