When Baili Xia woke up again, it was late in the morning.

Sunlight streamed into the room through the sheer, gossamer curtains, casting its glow on the bedhead.

The spring sunlight was warm and comforting.

Baili Xia’s head hurt, the alcohol from last night still gnawing at her brain.

But the burning pain beneath her made her suddenly sit up in bed.

“Hiss…” Her movements were too fast, and something between her legs tore, causing sharp pain.

She looked down to see herself dressed in a sleek, silky nightgown.

She didn’t know who had changed her clothes for her last night.

But the pain she felt below clearly indicated that it wasn’t just a change of clothes that had happened.

She lifted her gown and saw obvious marks on her soft, pale skin.

Baili Xia was terrified, wondering what had happened last night.

At the party, people had kept offering her drinks, but she didn’t know how much she eventually drank.

Later, who had brought her home?

Was it Brother? They were in the same booth.

Could it be that Brother had touched her last night, and they had that kind of relationship?

But why couldn’t she remember anything?

Enduring the pain between her legs, Baili Xia struggled to get out of bed, dazed and intending to wash up in the bathroom.

But after just a few steps, a suit jacket on the sofa caught her attention.

This suit looked very familiar. She had seen it at last night’s banquet—Uncle’s…

The next second, fragmented memories suddenly started becoming clear in her mind.

She had woken up in the middle of the night to a man pressing her down, ignoring her cries and pleas, forcibly taking her…

Uncle, it was really Uncle!

Baili Xia’s mind felt as if it had been struck by lightning, buzzing into a complete blank.

Her soul seemed to disappear in that moment, and her eyes became vacant.

Uncle had forcibly taken her last night…

“Since you’re awake, go freshen up.” A deep voice sounded in the room.

It was so familiar, familiar to the point of panic…

“Brother…” Baili Xia murmured, calling out and looking towards the voice, her gaze landing on him without focus.

“Uncle… had something urgent come up and left the house.” Mu Xiaoyao’s expression was complex.

But eventually, he suppressed all his emotions.

He approached her, “Xiaxia…”

“Don’t come any closer!” Baili Xia pulled the quilt tightly around herself. Even though she was wearing pajamas, she felt as though she wasn’t wearing anything at all.

Her whole body was exposed, readily seen and thoroughly revealed.

Nothing was hidden, nothing could cover her, it was so bare, so flustered…

Mu Xiaoyao had never seen Baili Xia like this before, and a trace of unease flashed through his eyes.

What happened last night undoubtedly shattered the girl’s perception of Uncle.

At the crack of dawn, Uncle had left without saying a word.

He hasn’t returned yet, and Mu Xiaoyao didn’t know where he went.

Mu Xiaoyao reached out a hand, wanting to touch her, but she shrank back like a frightened bunny.

He didn’t dare to get closer, not wanting to scare her even more.

Uncle… must have really scared her last night.

After a long time, he finally spoke.

“Uncle, it wasn’t what you think.”

Baili Xia looked up at him, tears already streaming down.

“Last night, he and I…”

She couldn’t hold it in any longer, the emotions she had been suppressing finally released, tears falling uncontrollably.

“Brother, I betrayed you, I’m not clean anymore.”

“From now on, I can never be with you again, sob…”
