Baili Xia blinked her innocent big eyes, staring intently at Ning Anran.

She didn’t know how long she had been watching, but suddenly she curved her thin lips into a smile and burst into laughter.

“Pfft! Haha, hahaha… Interesting, haha!”

Ning Anran felt a chill run down her spine from Baili Xia’s inexplicable laughter.

What was she laughing at?

What’s “interesting”? What’s so funny?

Could it be that what she said wasn’t true?

Suddenly, Baili Xia’s smile faded, and in an instant, even her gaze turned cold.

She straightened her body and walked towards Ning Anran.

“Uncle, he really is from my family, what’s your dissatisfaction? If you’re not satisfied, you can ask him.”

Ning Anran didn’t expect her to suddenly walk towards herself and was so frightened that she took two steps back.

Baili Xia also casually closed her room door.

Her cold gaze still fixed on Ning Anran’s flushed white face.

“I am Xiaoyao’s fiancée, everyone in the Mu family knows about this, you didn’t know?”

“Then… so what?” Ning Anran tried to calm herself down.

But at this moment, the coldness in Baili Xia’s eyes gave her an inexplicable unease.

She didn’t know why, but she felt that the girl in front of her was no longer the one she used to know.

This Baili Xia seemed so… unfamiliar!

“I at least bear the title of Mu Xiaoyao’s fiancée, and you? What do you think you are? What right do you have to criticize the matters of the Mu family?”

“Of course, if you’re shameless enough to think that just because you like my uncle openly, you can take the Mu family as your own, then I have nothing to say.”

Baili Xia gave her another look, then turned around and walked towards the stairs.

“There are so many self-righteous people in this world, but don’t worry, I’ll pass your reminder on to my uncle.”

“You… wait a minute!” Ning Anran was scared white by her saying “I’ll tell my uncle.”

She immediately followed after, “I was just being kind, how could you be like this? We’re friends, that’s why I reminded you.”

“But I don’t think we’re friends, so I only find you nosy.”

“You… where are you going?” seeing Baili Xia about to leave, Ning Anran stood in front of her.

She hadn’t said enough, how could she let Baili Xia leave so quickly?

“I said I’m going to see Xiaoxiao, get out of the way.” Baili Xia’s face turned cold.

She pushed Ning Anran aside and headed towards the stairway.

Ning Anran couldn’t block Baili Xia now, and when pushed, she crashed into the wall.

Although it didn’t hurt, her anger grew even more.

“You already have Mr. Mu, why do you still mess with my uncle? You’re really sleazy, you know that? You’re embarrassing the Mu family.”

Ning Anran was a bit agitated and lost some rationality in her words.

But her saying that Baili Xia messed with her uncle completely enraged Baili Xia.

She stopped, turned around, and glared angrily at Ning Anran.

“I’ve never messed with him, he’s the one who came to mess with me.”

Ning Anran had seen Baili Xia’s capability before, and now dealing with her was as easy as squashing a bug.

Ning Anran was taken aback, as if she were a bit scared.

Baili Xia, seeing her silence, snorted coldly and turned to head towards the stairs again.

Ning Anran stood there, her mind racing.

She couldn’t ignore Baili Xia’s anger, but she really didn’t want to hold back any longer.

Letting Baili Xia always have intimate contact with her uncle, how could she have any chance of winning his heart?
