Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 2000
Ning Anran staggered back, not paying attention to her footing, and tripped on the steps, falling down.
But she couldn’t bother with the pain, hurriedly getting up, wanting to move further away.
Tears immediately welled up in her eyes, as she wondered how she could possibly explain herself.
But Mu Xiaojiu didn’t even glance at her again.
After realizing what had happened, he swiftly picked up Baili Xia and strode out of the hall.
Behind him, he left only a cold sentence: “Lock her up.”
“Yes.”
From behind Mu Xiaojiu, Night Shadow walked swiftly to Ning Anran’s side.
With a large hand, he grasped Ning Anran’s wrist firmly.
The hand, like an iron clamp, made her feel as though her wrist would snap.
“It wasn’t me, it really wasn’t me, she fell on her own.”
Ning Anran cried, tears streaming down.
That single look from Mr. Xiaojiu just now carried a devastating aura.
Lock her up… In this modern society, they actually still want to lock someone up.
Once they lock her up, will she also be destroyed by him?
“Night Shadow, Night Shadow, it really wasn’t me, she truly fell on her own.”
She begged Night Shadow tearfully for mercy.
But Night Shadow just pressed her down with force, heading outside.
He too was anxious, not knowing what Miss Xiaxia’s current situation was.
This woman, so annoying!
…
Baili Xia felt like she was in a very long dream, unable to wake up.
But it didn’t seem like a dream, more like watching a movie.
Scene after scene flashed through her mind, so real.
An uncle, someone she hadn’t seen for a long time, led her into a hotel and into a room.
In the room, she saw someone; when they turned around, it was… Uncle.
When Baili Xia turned around, she suddenly realized the uncle had left without her knowing.
Uncle walked towards her quickly, frightening light in his eyes.
She wanted to run, but couldn’t move at all.
He grabbed her arm and threw her onto the bed.
She struggled desperately, but couldn’t break free…
Suddenly, the scene changed, and she arrived at the Mu family.
An old man appeared in the dream, so kind and gentle in appearance.
“Grandfather.” Baili Xia went over and pounced into his arms.
The old man softly reached out, gently stroking her head.
“Good girl, you’ve finally come back.”
Just then, Ning Anran walked in from outside.
“Grandfather, I’m your real granddaughter; you’ve got the wrong person.”
The old man glanced at Baili Xia, then at Ning Anran, momentarily unsure who to believe.
“Don’t believe her, she’s here to harm you, Grandfather.” Baili Xia screamed desperately.
But the old man’s gaze still hesitated, not choosing to believe.
Suddenly Uncle appeared, saying as he entered, “Ning Anran is your real granddaughter.”
He handed the old man a paternity test result, clearly stating that the old man and Ning Anran were truly grandparent and grandchild.
The old man believed it, and although he still felt reluctant towards Baili Xia, he took Ning Anran away.
Baili Xia was heartbroken, but accepted the reality.
She followed Uncle and returned to Sihai Residence.
Upon returning to Sihai Residence, she suddenly discovered Ning Anran was there again, whispering something to Uncle.
She walked over and finally heard clearly.
“I’ll slowly poison him; sooner or later, he’ll die.”
The terrifying laughter was like sharp pins, piercing into Baili Xia’s heart one by one.
Her heart bled, in pain, so much pain…
