Baili Xia paused, staring in shock at Wu Ming pinned beneath her.

Had she… reverted to that version of herself again? Why was she so relaxed earlier, completely unaware?

She turned her face away, glancing at an unknown distant place, the panic in her eyes instantly hidden.

“Why won’t you let go?” She looked down at Wu Ming, seemingly not intending to resist.

Wu Ming tightened his arms.

Why won’t you let go?

He had no obligation to answer her.

In the hall of Youyang Pavilion in the Bei Family, he was on top of her, hands roaming over her.

The act was fake, but the feelings were real; at the time, he was impulsive enough to almost take her on the spot.

A night more than a week ago, she was drugged, and he finally pinned her down mercilessly.

The person belonged to him, but her heart was thousands of miles away.

In front of “Uncle,” all she felt was fear, along with distance and indifference.

Just now in front of “Wu Ming,” she unconsciously revealed a touch of true feelings.

Watching her pout and complain to him was like seeing his little girl come back.

How could he bear to let go?

Baili Xia’s face grew increasingly red because she soon realized that Wu Ming was not only unwilling to let go, but that his body was also reacting to her.

He… actually desired her!

Her heart cooled instantly, the bit of earlier emotion completely gone.

This is what men are!

“So you’re interested in my body too.” She smiled lightly, with no trace of affection in her smile.

Wu Ming’s eyes, darker and brighter than the stars in the sky, stared at her flushed yet pretended calm face.

“You found out? Sorry, I can only say I’m a normal man.”

Thinking she’d fly into a rage, call him a bastard.

He’d rather she scold him, just to see the various emotions on her face, rather than watch her deliberately pretend.

Unfortunately, Baili Xia showed no signs of anger whatsoever, and even smiled faintly, “Do you want me?”

Wu Ming’s dark pupils constricted.

Yes! He wanted her! Very much so!

The hard air below his abdomen suddenly became more intense, a change Baili Xia felt clearly.

Instead of avoiding, she cupped his altered face.

“Do you really want me that much?”

“…” Wu Ming couldn’t answer.

“Then… is it okay to give you?”

“Little girl…” He opened his mouth, a hoarse sound escaping his throat.

“Teaching me martial arts, training me—is that Uncle’s idea, or your own will?”

Baili Xia ignored the growing hardness of his body, looking at him with eyes devoid of warmth.

Wu Ming pressed his thin lips together, unwilling to answer.

“If it’s Uncle’s idea, then you don’t need to come anymore; I don’t want to owe him anything.”

“Why?” He didn’t think such trivial matters required her to repay anything.

“No reason.” Baili Xia grabbed his collar, feeling the changes in his body.

Though panicked inside, she maintained a calm demeanor on her face.

“If you willingly came, then as payment, if you want my body, I’ll give it to you.”

She bowed her head, about to kiss him.

Wu Ming turned his face away, avoiding the kiss.

In the depths of his dark eyes, traces of displeasure flickered.

“Payment? Your body?”

“Don’t you want it?” Baili Xia stared unblinkingly at his face, “Being good to me for no reason, isn’t it also with motives?”
