Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 2075
Baili Xia talked with her classmates for quite a while before finally calming their excited emotions.
It’s clearly her engagement, but everyone seemed more excited than she was.
As the classmates dispersed, Ning Anran also prepared to leave.
She had just prepared to step out of the classroom when a familiar gentle voice came from behind.
“An Ran, wait a moment.”
The voice was crisp like an oriole, gentle like a spring breeze, but to Ning Anran, it felt devoid of any kindness.
She pretended not to hear it and continued walking out of the classroom.
Just after taking two steps, a hand suddenly landed on her shoulder, pulling her back instantly.
“Ah!” She couldn’t help but let out a soft cry.
A few classmates walking behind turned to look upon hearing the sound.
What they saw was Baili Xia with her arm around Ning Anran’s shoulder, the two seeming to be whispering something together.
Their pose clearly looked like two good friends sharing secrets.
Both of them lived at Mu Mansion and previously were in the same dormitory.
Classmates knew they were close, so they didn’t think much of it and left.
With the classroom empty, Baili Xia finally released Ning Anran, giving her a casual push.
Ning Anran retreated, bumping into the wall.
“Ah…” She let out another startled cry.
Earlier she was just a bit scared, but this time she truly felt pain.
“You…” She raised her head, her eyes glaring angrily at Baili Xia, wanting to reprimand her.
But in the face of Baili Xia’s icy gaze, the words stopped in her mouth.
Baili Xia looked at Ning Anran, taking two steps forward, leaving only a few dozen centimeters between them.
“Xiaxia, do you have something else to discuss with me?”
The current Baili Xia made Ning Anran inexplicably feel a sense of danger; she truly wanted to escape immediately.
But under Baili Xia’s watch, she had no chance.
In just half a year, how did Baili Xia become so formidable?
Not only was her speed fast, but her strength was also something Ning Anran couldn’t compare to.
Baili Xia looked at her coldly, not speaking, but her chilling gaze made Ning Anran’s heart race.
“Xiaxia, I really just wanted to congratulate you earlier, nothing else.”
“You being with Mu Xiaoyao is good for everyone, isn’t it?”
As she explained, she moved to the side, trying to put more distance between herself and Baili Xia.
Baili Xia saw through her intentions, raising her hand again and gripping her shoulder, applying slight pressure.
“Yes, it’s great, but it’s only good for me, what does it have to do with you?”
Baili Xia chuckled, but her brow lacked any pleasantness.
“I, I didn’t say it had anything to do with me, I…”
Baili Xia’s sudden change in expression made Ning Anran immediately quiet.
“Do you think this way Uncle will notice you?”
“I… Ah!” Another cry escaped, Ning Anran’s face contorted in pain.
“It hurts, let go, let go.”
She shouted, but didn’t dare to push Baili Xia away.
If she angered Baili Xia, she might act even harsher, and then it would be too much to handle.
However, this was school, how could she bully others like this?
Baili Xia looked down at her twisted features, feeling unspeakably pleased.
She had always been bullied, but now she finally had the power to punish such people.
The strong are always respected; not bullying others doesn’t mean others won’t bully you.
Only by truly becoming strong herself can she change everything.
“It’s best if you don’t interfere in my matters in the future, otherwise, I can’t guarantee what I might do to you.”
