Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 2441
This kick was truly heart-wrenchingly painful.
It won’t crush any bones, nor will it injure Bei Zicheng, turning him into a cripple.
But the toe that was stepped on felt like it was cut by a knife.
Bei Zicheng wanted to scream out in pain, but Wu Ming’s fingers were still tightly gripping his throat, preventing him from making any sound.
Baili Xia almost burst into laughter, amused by Wu Ming’s cunning.
This guy, choking someone’s throat, making it impossible for Bei Zicheng to scream no matter how much he wants to.
The place was filled with his people, and screaming would not only draw them in, but also attract the attention of others.
Unable to make a sound now, right?
Offending the mighty Wu Ming is simply asking for trouble.
Wu Ming was quite generous, just stepping on him once and letting it be.
Everything had to be considered with the girl’s thoughts in mind; if Baili Xia wasn’t here, he would surely have given Bei Zicheng a few punches.
Knowing Wu Ming wouldn’t cause trouble, Baili Xia’s heart settled.
Looking at Bei Zicheng, she raised an eyebrow.
“Bei Zicheng, let’s end it here today, how about that?”
Bei Zicheng was clearly infuriated, yet his throat was clenched, his face flushed red, unable to voice a reply.
Wu Ming felt it was enough; his fingers slightly relaxed.
Bei Zicheng coughed harshly a few times, waited until he felt better, and then lifted his eyes to Baili Xia.
He venomously said, “You think it’s over just like that? Dream on.”
Wu Ming’s eyes turned cold, his fingertips that had just relaxed clamped down again.
Bei Zicheng’s words came to an abrupt halt, leaving only a murmur in his mouth.
Wu Ming’s grip became even more forceful, and Bei Zicheng felt the pressure.
It seemed as if it would soon pierce through his throat.
His gaze swept to Wu Ming, reading a hint of death in his eyes.
The intent to kill was real…
“I’ll give you one last chance to speak. Think carefully before you do.”
Wu Ming looked coldly at Bei Zicheng, as if the air had frozen.
His hand relaxed once more, this time leaving just enough space for Bei Zicheng to breathe and speak.
Bei Zicheng felt the persistent force on his neck, fearing one wrong word would surely lead those claw-like fingers to pierce his throat.
Even Baili Xia sensed the danger, hurriedly saying, “Wu Ming, don’t.”
She gazed at Wu Ming’s back, suddenly overtaken by an illusion.
As if standing there was Uncle, the man ruthless enough to destroy heaven and earth when cold.
The current Wu Ming was as cold and merciless as Uncle when dealing with enemies.
Yet Wu Ming showed no intention of moving his fingers, having made his decision without intent to change.
Bei Zicheng became afraid, as the esteemed young master of the Bei Family, he couldn’t possibly die at the hands of such an obscure person now.
Later, there’d be enough time to play with them slowly.
“Fine, let’s end it here for today, I won’t stop you.”
“Apologize.” Wu Ming’s cold voice resounded once more.
With his heart filled with resentment, Bei Zicheng nearly erupted in anger again.
But his life was in someone else’s hands, and he could do nothing.
“Sorry, I was wrong, I shouldn’t have stopped you.”
“Not that.” Wu Ming’s large hand clenched, dragging Bei Zicheng’s neck closer to Baili Xia.
Earlier, his words hurt the girl.
If the girl wasn’t satisfied, he wouldn’t let Bei Zicheng off.
Only then did Bei Zicheng realize what Wu Ming wanted him to say, and quickly responded, “Miss Xiaxia, sorry, I won’t speak recklessly again.”
Wu Ming was finally satisfied, the chill on his body dissipating.
Retracting his fingers, his palm pushed Bei Zicheng back, making him stumble several steps.
Eventually, he fell directly onto the ground.
