“Die without repentance!”

Mu Xiaoyao completely ran out of patience.

His large hand gave a yank and tore Bei Xier’s thin white shirt straight open down the middle.

There was the sharp sound of threads snapping, and a few buttons popped and bounced away.

In an instant, everything was exposed.

Snow‑white skin, made even paler by the contrast with the black little bra.

Bei Xier was completely dumbfounded, her heart entirely flooded with fear.

All she could feel was the despair of life.

…

Now, in the main hall of Wangyue Pavilion, only the Old Madam, Bei Qingyue and Lan were left.

Bei Tianyou had also left for some unknown reason.

Time ticked by; the people they’d sent out had been searching for more than two hours, but there was no progress at all.

Bei Xier, Mu Xiaoyao, and Baili Xia seemed to have vanished into thin air.

In the entire city, there was no sign of them anywhere.

This wasn’t normal. All the exits had people stationed there; there was no reason they should be able to get away.

Could it be they’d hidden themselves in some deep mountain forest?

Or maybe they were hiding in some corner of the city?

After waiting about another thirty minutes, Bei Qingyue’s phone suddenly rang.

She glanced at the screen, then immediately looked up to meet the Old Madam’s eyes and said softly, “It’s Yun’er.”

Seeing the Old Madam nod, Bei Qingyue quickly picked up the call and asked into the phone, “How’s it on your side, did you find their car?”

“Mom, up to now, none of the exits have found any trace of Mu Xiaoyao and Baili Xia.”

On the other end, Nangong Yun’s voice clearly held a note of anxiety.

“Mm.” Bei Qingyue nodded lightly.

She’d thought Nangong Yun would bring back something useful, but it turned out to be the same as those subordinates’ reports.

Hearing nothing more from the other end, Nangong Yun asked, “Mom, how do we investigate next?”

Bei Qingyue raised her brows, didn’t respond immediately, and thought it over.

Suddenly, she said, “They’ll definitely find somewhere to lie low. Search more carefully—go check all the motels and hotels and the like.”

“Got it, Mom.” Nangong Yun answered, then hung up.

Bei Qingyue looked up, meeting the Old Madam’s worried gaze, and said honestly, “We still haven’t found them for now. Mom, don’t worry too much, Xi’er will definitely be fine.”

The Old Madam nodded slightly. No matter how anxious she was inside, it was useless now.

…

Putting her phone away again, Nangong Yun’s expression instantly sank, the coldness returning.

She’d originally wanted to use this chance to properly teach that bitch Baili Xia a lesson.

She hadn’t expected them to waste so much of her time, and there still wasn’t the slightest clue.

She clenched her teeth and beckoned toward the car window.

A guy immediately walked up to the car. “Miss.”

“Go to the police station and pull up the surveillance. Look for a black Maybach.”

“Yes.”

At Nangong Yun’s order, that guy didn’t dare delay even a second.

He immediately called a few people and headed for the city bureau’s monitoring center to check the footage.

Nangong Yun summoned another subordinate and instructed, “Send photos of Mu Xiaoyao’s car to all the brothers, have them look along the routes.”

“Once you spot any trace of them, notify me immediately. Don’t alert the enemy.”

“Yes.”

Watching her men walk off one after another, Nangong Yun’s gaze grew darker and darker.

She’d thought that with their help, she could easily catch Baili Xia.

Who knew it would still fall apart at the last moment and let them get away!
