Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 2523
Guisu’s iron fist was clenched tightly, delivering a full force blow at the leader of the men in black.
The leader of the men in black dared not be careless and immediately leaped back.
With just this brief moment, Guisu could finally break free for a short while.
His figure shot forward explosively, attacking the black-clad man currently fighting Wu Ming.
Behind him, three men in black followed closely, daggers flying toward him.
But Guisu paid no attention, his iron fist directly smashing onto the head of the black-clad man.
The man in black fell to the ground, spitting fresh blood, convulsing before eventually meeting his end.
Three daggers pierced into Guisu’s back; he merely let out a muffled groan and immediately attacked another man in black fighting Wu Ming.
Only then did Wu Ming free himself and quickly flew over to assist Baili Xia.
In the blink of an eye, Guisu bore three daggers and fought a black-clad man to death.
This move completely broke the previous balance.
With Wu Ming’s help, they soon took down the black-clad man.
Guisu fought five alone but soon had the help of Wu Ming and Baili Xia.
Quickly, the men in black were cleared out.
The entire open space now only had the leader of the men in black still standing.
And he was already seriously injured.
Everything happened so fast, in just a few minutes.
But within these few minutes, Wu Ming was thoroughly exhausted.
He stood there, his body swayed, nearly falling.
Baili Xia hurried over to hold him up.
“Wu Ming, how are you?”
Wu Ming shook his head, his face indifferent.
“I’m fine.”
He lifted his eyes to look at Guisu standing aside, then said, “See if that guy is okay.”
Baili Xia was slightly stunned, looked toward Guisu, and only then noticed the three daggers on his back.
Her heart tightened, she quickly released Wu Ming and walked to Guisu’s side.
“Guisu, when did you get injured? Are you okay?”
Wu Ming raised his thick brows, snorted at Wu Ming.
“What’s this injury? It’s nothing.”
Baili Xia looked at his back; those daggers were all stuck in the muscle area, embedded two to three centimeters.
This kind of injury, although looking frightening, is not too severe. It should heal after some rest.
Only then did Baili Xia relax, speaking softly, “I’ll help you treat it later.”
Guisu nodded, indifferent as well.
He looked at the man in black lying on the ground, walked over, his voice carrying a cold tone.
“Who exactly sent you?”
The man in black’s vicious gaze fixed on him; it was this person who foiled their plan today, leading them to total defeat.
“You will be punished; you will never know who.”
He let out a cold laugh, suddenly biting down hard.
“Not good.”
Wu Ming saw this, knew what the man in black intended, but it was too late.
The leader’s poison fang was crushed, instantly turning his lips black, as a streak of black-red blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.
“Damn it!” Guisu growled.
None of the men in black remained; those previously injured naturally all bit down and took their own lives.
As a result, there’s no way to trace who these people were connected to.
Baili Xia walked over, supporting Wu Ming, sweeping her gaze over the bodies strewn about, and felt a sense of sorrow rising within her.
In just a moment, so many people ended up dead here.
Could it be, along this journey, she must tread over the blood of so many people to find her home?
She looked up at Guisu, her voice softening.
“Let me help you treat the wounds.”
