Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 254: Just Like Her Body
Baili Xia finally understood what was going on, smiling gently at Sir Dongfang.
“Greetings, Sir Dongfang.”
Sir Dongfang merely glanced at her before his gaze returned to Mu Xiaoyao, giving a slight nod.
“You claim my grandson has harmed your people, explain yourself.
If this is slander, I, this old man, will not stand for it!”
“I’m not slandering him, he actually did harm my people.”
Suddenly, Mu Xiaoyao extended his arm, pulling Baili Xia close to him.
Mimicking Sir Dongfang, he sniffed loudly and said,
“Sir Dongfang, you were the one who said that the families of the eight clans should stick together.
However, he hurt my people, how should we account for this?”
“I’ve no idea what you’re talking about, let my grandson come out.
I need to question him in person about this.”
“After what he’s done, do you think I’d allow you to meet him that easily?”
“Mu Xiaoyao, you insolent brat!
What is this attitude?”
At these words, Sir Dongfang’s face darkened completely and he smacked the tea table with a loud “thud”.
The others around him instantly changed expressions, but Mu Xiaoyao remained calm.
“I respect Sir Dongfang, but that doesn’t mean I’ll let others bully my people.”
Suddenly, he turned to look at Baili Xia.
“Xiaxia, roll up your sleeve and show them.”
Baili Xia glanced at him with a hint of contempt in her eyes.
But, this slight hint of contempt was only seen by Mu Xiaoyao, who didn’t really care about it.
Baili Xia looked away, biting her lip and bowing her head.
Her pitiful look would elicit sympathy from anyone who saw her.
Brother, she really couldn’t believe what he was making her do!
Just one glance and listening to his words, she immediately understood his intentions.
But, now that things had come to this, to help her brother save face, she had no choice but to go along.
So, she timidly stood up, carefully rolling up her sleeve.
She looked as pitiful as one could be!
Even Mu Xiaoyao couldn’t help but silently admire her quick thinking and her convincing acting skills.
Anyone would believe that she was a pitiful victim.
As Baili Xia rolled up her sleeve, everyone could clearly see the wounds on her arm.
“What the hell happened?” Mu Zhentian abruptly stood up, walking over.
He took her hand, carefully examining the injuries on her arm.
His complexion instantly changed!
“Who hurt you like this?
Where did these injuries come from?”
“No one…
no one hurt me, Grandfather.
I…
I just tripped and hurt myself.”
Baili Xia quickly pulled down her sleeve, avoiding Mu Zhentian’s gaze and looking only at Mu Xiaoyao.
An image of innocence, it was clear that these injuries weren’t self-inflicted.
Everyone present could see it clearly and believe that she must have been hurt by someone else!
Mu Xiaoyao stood up, pulling Baili Xia close to him.
Baili Xia immediately clenched his clothing, hiding behind him, clearly afraid to come forward.
Mu Xiaoyao looked at her, his expression serious and focused.
“Tell Grandfather, were you dragged into a small grove at school and someone tried to bully you?”
