Be Gentle, My Master

Chapter 43: Uncle Don't!

A dozen or so minutes later, a weak and disheveled Baili Xia finally managed to straighten out her clothes, then fled from behind the faux hill in a flurry of panic.

Afterward, she did not even dare to glance back at the man behind her, fleeing towards the main gate of Sihai Residence as if running for her life.

Before long, that petite figure vanished from Mu Xiaojiu’s sight.

He raised his hand, his long fingers trailing over his own lips.

The taste of the exquisite pleasure he had experienced was still lingering.

Yet, he could only watch the young woman flee, as he was unable to chase after her.

He cast his gaze towards his abdomen, his thin lips pressed tightly together.

Flickers of helplessness appeared in his eyes.

His body was still rigid.

How could he step through that door if he didn’t let himself calm down first?

…Baili Xia ran all the way, not willing to stop even after she had left Sihai Residence, heading for the main banquet hall.

When she finally reached the outer courtyard of the hall and caught her breath, she bravely turned around to look back.

Thankfully, Mu Xiaojiu was not chasing after her.

Although he was terribly wicked, at least he kept his words.

“If you make me happy, I’ll let you go,” he had said.

She had “fed” him for a while, and seeing as he was “satisfied,” he really didn’t stop her from leaving.

This man…at least he had the decency not to go back on his word, she thought.

Her small hand lightly patted her chest as she continued to heave heavy breaths.

She glanced down at her chest and remembered the scene in which she was “devoured.” Her cheeks instantly turned a fiery red again.

If she hadn’t encountered a man like Mu Xiaojiu, she thought, she probably would never have experienced these things in her life.

“Xiaxia, why are you here all by yourself?

Grandfather has been looking everywhere for you,” a cheerful voice said.

As soon as the words left her, she had already approached Baili Xia

Mu Ziying, the daughter of Baili Xia’s second uncle and three years older than Baili Xia, was still attending university.

Everyone had met earlier that night, and Mu Ziying seemed to take special care of Baili Xia, who was younger than herself.

Grabbing Baili Xia’s arm, she noticed Baili Xia’s unusually flushed face.

Mu Ziying blinked and asked with concern, “What’s wrong?

You look a bit off.

Are you feeling unwell?”

Still, that glowing pink cheek made her look even more beautiful – even more so than her sister…

Of course, Mu Ziying wouldn’t dare say that out loud.

Her sister, Ziqing, was recognized as the number one beauty in the Mu family, along with all the girls from its branch families.

Moreover, she was also an international superstar, so naturally, she was the prettiest of them all.

Ziqing cared a great deal about her looks, so one mustn’t say things like someone else being more beautiful than her.

“Xiaxia, let’s go to grandfather first.

He is looking for you,” she said.

“Okay.” Baili Xia nodded and involuntarily glanced back towards the distant Sihai Residence.

Thank goodness, Mu Xiaojiu was still nowhere to be seen.

She let out a sigh of relief.

As long as he didn’t follow her, she didn’t care where he went.

Mu Ziying, however, noticed her glancing towards Sihai Residence and immediately laughed: “Xiaxia, don’t tell me you’re also smitten with Uncle.”

“Uncle?” Baili Xia didn’t understand.

What did Uncle have to do with this?

“Of course, Uncle.” Mu Ziying nodded, taking Baili Xia’s hand and starting to walk towards the grand banquet hall.

As they walked, she said proudly, “Did you know?

At least half of the girls here tonight came for Uncle.”

“Why?”

“Do you even need to ask?” Mu Ziying gave her a knowing glance, then cheerfully said, “Uncle is absolutely captivating!

He’s killing us softly, I tell you!

There are so many girls who, once they’ve laid eyes on him, will never like another man for the rest of their lives!”
