Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 611: Dead Tsundere Childish Man_1
“If you think we really can’t go back to how it was, could you, at least, let me be your friend?”
He could see that the young girl was under a lot of pressure.
Not wanting to make her uncomfortable, yet unwilling to let go easily, he decided to change his approach.
Walking over to her, he pursed his thin lips.
“I won’t pressure you anymore, Xiaxia. Can we still be friends?”
Friends…
Baili Xia looked up at him, paused, and nodded.
“Since we’re friends, if you have any problems in the future, remember to tell me.”
Her unhappiness always has a reason.
If it’s not that rascal Mu Xiaojiu bullying her, it must be someone from the Mu family treating her poorly.
He doesn’t want to push her, but he won’t allow those people to trouble her either!
“Okay, I will remember.” She knew he would not give up if she refused.
Baili Xia was well aware of Jin’s personality.
It would be better to soothe him first.
“I’ll take you home.” It was clear that she was under pressure with him around today.
Dongfang Jin reluctantly turned around and walked ahead of her.
“Did I embarrass you by announcing that you were my girlfriend in front of so many people today?”
“Huh?” As Baili Xia walked beside him, she craned her neck to look up at his towering figure, slightly stunned.
Why did he bring up that incident out of the blue?
“I don’t even know why.” Dongfang Jin laughed at himself.
“Every time I see that jerk, I just get so angry, as if I wanted to knock him down and stomp on him hard.”
“Was that comment also made in anger then?”
Baili Xia finally laughed, genuinely this time.
“I’m sorry.” He bowed his head to look at her.
He did say it out of anger, aiming to provoke Mu Xiaojiu.
But he seemed to have forgotten that such words could also have a negative effect on her.
“You don’t need to apologize. You… and Uncle, are just immature big boys.”
This comment made Dongfang Jin frown.
An immature big boy?
Was she referring to him?
If she were speaking about Mu Xiaojiu, he wouldn’t disagree, but him?
Immature?
Baili Xia had already started walking, taking a few brisk steps ahead.
When she turned to look at him, her eyes were filled with laughter.
“Yes, I’m talking about both of you – two arrogant, pig-headed, immature men.”
Leaving him with these words, she gave him no chance to retort and started to run off.
Dongfang Jin could only silently follow behind her, looking at her figure as she grew further away.
Arrogant, pig-headed, and immature…
She must be referring to Mu Xiaojiu.
How could such words be associated with him, the eldest son of the prestigious Dongfang family?
As for Mu Xiaojiu, it was a perfect fit.
Arrogant, immature, and pig-headed…
He frowned again, slightly puzzled.
Returning to his car, he asked Lei Shuo to start it, still puzzled.
“Young master, is there a problem?”
Noticing through the rearview mirror that Dongfang Jin’s brows were furrowed, Lei Shuo asked tactfully.
His candid gaze showed his concern about the things that were bothering his master.
Dongfang Jin glanced at him, didn’t want to confide at first, but he really couldn’t figure it out.
He had been in the business world for so many years and couldn’t even understand this small matter.
“You seem worldly-wise, so…”
He paused for a moment, his voice softened: “What is… pig-headedness?”
“Pig-headedness?” Lei Shuo was confused, “Young Master, do you want to eat pork?
Shall I kill it fresh?”
“Drive your car!” Dongfang Jin’s faced turned stern.
How dare Lei Shuo ask more questions?
He quickly focused on the road.
Little did he know, Dongfang Jin in the back seat was even more confused.
Out of the blue, why did Xiaxia want him to kill a pig?
