Chapter 626: Assessment Officially Begins_1

Baili Xia didn’t dwell on it much longer.

Everyone else was in the middle of the basketball court, so they couldn’t just stay here.

“Okay, enough of this.”

Baili Xia put on a serious face, and asked, “Why are so many people here today?”

Ning Anran pouted, her previous joy dampened a little.

“It’s all because of the girls in our class.

They knew about the basketball team selection and that Mr.

Xiaojiu and Mr.

Jin would be here, so word got out.”

She continued, “Thank goodness we only confirmed the time yesterday, otherwise, it wouldn’t have accommodated all these people.”

Baili Xia looked around at the audience in their seats, suddenly feeling a sense of helplessness.

Yes, these girls, with their crazed infatuation with these two men.

If everyone knew about it, then this place would surely burst from the crowd.

“With so many people here, I hope our examination goes smoothly today.”

Seeing the concern on Ning Anran’s face, Baili Xia started to reassure her.

“Nevermind, it’s already like this.

Let’s just be extra cautious.

If we can’t control it, we’ll withdraw immediately.”

Ning Anran nodded, “Okay.”

The two, hand in hand, walked over to Mu Xiaojiu and Dongfang Jin.

…

The number of people attending the evaluation today was quite large.

There were rumors of three spots available; however, no one dared to contend for the two spots.

But, there was still the chance to jostle for the third position.

The reason they wanted to join was obvious—it would mean the possibility of being with both Mr.

Xiaojiu and Mr.

Jin.

If they became part of the squad, it would be easier to converse.

The news somehow leaked, and even many business owners knew about it.

So, weren’t their children participating now?

If selected and teamed with Mr.

Xiaojiu and Mr.

Jin, then perhaps a cooperative opportunity may arise in the future.

The students did not overthink it; but those in the business world couldn’t help it.

Tan Xiao, who had made her way to the center of the court, finally regained her composure.

She put on a serious face, looking at several dozen people standing in the middle of the court.

“Our examination activity is about to begin.

Everyone, please maintain order and avoid causing chaos.”

“Now, our basketball team leader, student Baili Xia, will announce the examination criteria and rules.”

After speaking, Tan Xiao stepped aside to allow Baili Xia to give her speech.

Baili Xia took a deep breath and stepped into the center of the court.

She looked at the players on the court awaiting the examination, and the crazy girls in the audience.

“I am Baili Xia, the leader of the basketball team.

I will explain the examination process.”

She paused, and then continued, “The examination is divided into two parts: basic skills testing and group confrontation testing.”

“For basic skills, we will test some basic basketball techniques, such as shuttle runs, free throws, three-point shots, and height measurement tests.”

“Each section will have a score, which will affect the final examination result.”

“After basic testing, we’ll consider individual suitable positions for group confrontation, scoring will be based on performance.”

“The top three highest scoring individuals will be selected into our team.”

Finally, Baili Xia paused and then turned to address the still frenzied girls in the audience.

“For the audience in the stands, you all must also maintain order and not disrupt our examination.”

She naturally worried that these fans, if unable to control their emotions, would do something crazy.

Hopefully, the examination will proceed trouble-free…
