Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 649: Chapter 652_1
Baili Xia only felt a sudden pressure around her waist, and the next thing she knew, he lifted her onto his lap.
She tried to move back, afraid of pressing on his private part.
But with one push from his long arm on her lower back, she found herself forced to lean over, sprawling across his body.
“Uncle…”
“Has he ever held you like this?”
His voice was low, deep with an undertone she couldn’t understand.
It sounded angry, yet helpless, like a pent-up frustration that couldn’t be released.
Baili Xia was initially puzzled, but quickly understood what he was asking.
He acted indifferent earlier, but it turned out he was angry all along.
She put her hand on his chest, trying to push him away and leave some distance between them.
But then he abruptly pushed her waist forward with his large palm.
She found herself sprawled across his torso, unable to resist.
“He has never.” Baili Xia bit her lip and grumbled.
Dongfang Jin would never hold her like this.
Only Uncle, only this bad man does!
Self-centered, pretentious, deadly cold when he’s cold, unbearably hot when he’s hot, this jerk!
“Do you think I would believe that?” His icy breath hit her like a drizzle, yet the next moment it was scorching hot.
The quick shift from cold to hot was pushing Baili Xia to the brink of insanity.
His warm palm was still on her back, rubbing against her clothes inch by inch.
She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then spoke slowly.
“Believe it or not, it’s up to you.”
Mu Xiaojiu’s face darkened instantly, his anger flared up.
So she’s not even bothering to explain now?
Well, figures!
He just saw them holding each other a moment ago.
Would he believe her explanation now?
She figured he wouldn’t believe anyway, so why bother lying to him?
Mu Xiaojiu didn’t know what was wrong with him.
On the one hand, he hated it when she lied to him.
On the other hand, he’d rather not hear any uncomfortable truths from her.
In the silence, the atmosphere in the carriage became rather odd.
The temperature was steadily rising.
Whether because of the increasingly rapid heartbeats of both of them, or the rising anger in their hearts.
She was no longer obedient to him just as before.
Now, sometimes, she had a bit of prickliness about her.
While her prickles were quite soft, causing no harm, at least she was fighting back from her heart.
He no longer wanted to be like before, forcefully taking what he wanted without reason.
Now, he cared more about her feelings.
Two people, clearly not on the same social level or status.
Yet, they could still create tension between them.
“There’s a saying that when a woman starts to fight for dignity in front of a man, she has already started to want a place in his heart.”
Suddenly, he leaned forward, closing the distance between them.
Baili Xia was forced to lean back, his face was almost on her chest.
Baili Xia’s breath became irregular once again, the facade of her calmness was instantly shattered by his approach.
“Who… who said that? That’s nonsense!”
She tried to calm herself down, at least to keep her exterior calm.
But she couldn’t!
His face was on her chest, his thin lips were too close to her, it messed with her thoughts.
“It’s said by a relationship expert.” As she panicked, Mu Xiaojiu chuckled.
Her bewildered little appearance thoroughly amused him.
She was obviously terrified, yet acted calm in front of him.
The little creature needed to be taught a lesson.
His lips curved up into a slight smirk, a glint of playfulness in his eyes.
Suddenly, he opened his mouth, and took a bite.
“Ah!” Baili Xia, scared, almost collapsed and attempted pushing him away.
But facing him now, she…
she dared not.
Would he bite harder if she did?
“No…
Uncle, don’t do this, Un…”
“Do not do what?” His face buried deep, refusing to lift his head or let her go.
“Uncle…” She gasped for air, her chest rising and falling rapidly.
